In fact, the acceleration factor at take off from an aircraft carrier is very high.
It was a german trainee on a european exchange program that was piloting this day. He forgot that it's forbidden to put hands on the stick at catapulting (aeronavale jacket have special "pockets" to put hands in whe launching), so with the acceleration he pulled the stick, the aircraft was too slow and went immediately in stall incidence.
The video I personally thinks best is "Best of Low Pass Jet Fighters(Fast and Low), CassiusYou.
It has footage of French Dassault Mirages F1 etc @ Djibouti-Morocco-Chad-Gironde Coast.
The in cockpit footage is spectacular, especially when they are flying "nap of the earth" following a track with a truck in the desert and you see the Pilot adjusting , I think his HUD, cool as you like. It reminds me of the trench run in Star Wars, makes me laugh every time.

no disrespect to france but french pilots when they participated in an excersise with greek pilots they lost with a score 18-0.(charles de gaule 15 november or something in crete island)btw the video is cool.greetings form greece

Can someone explain what happened during the carrier launch at 2:36? How did that happen? Was it the wind, the ship or the aircraft?

@mapleavenue77 actually, it was a german pilot in exchange with the french navy. He pulled the stick to early which caused the plane to stall.

In fact, the acceleration factor at take off from an aircraft carrier is very high.
It was a german trainee on a european exchange program that was piloting this day. He forgot that it's forbidden to put hands on the stick at catapulting (aeronavale jacket have special "pockets" to put hands in whe launching), so with the acceleration he pulled the stick, the aircraft was too slow and went immediately in stall incidence.

The video I personally thinks best is "Best of Low Pass Jet Fighters(Fast and Low), CassiusYou.
It has footage of French Dassault Mirages F1 etc @ Djibouti-Morocco-Chad-Gironde Coast.
The in cockpit footage is spectacular, especially when they are flying "nap of the earth" following a track with a truck in the desert and you see the Pilot adjusting , I think his HUD, cool as you like. It reminds me of the trench run in Star Wars, makes me laugh every time.

Once they figured out i was Canadian, they were actually quite nice, but the ones that didn't know were arrogant pricks like you said. you were in Paris im guessing?

It just seems stupid that the French just assume i'm American then treat me like shit just because of that. i dont dislike the french by any means though. ahah and i see you're British:) i have a few British friends i see very year, very nice people!
