moonrice: it has nothing to do with the shape. you can find v similar shapes yet still sound like a stone. scientists have yet to figure the difference. apparently there is no significant composition difference. myself, i believe it has to do w metaphysical/energetic properties of the moldavite. the ones that chime have a nicer and stronger energy :)
@kandenk Thanks for the answer. It seems you know a lot about Moldavites, how do you tell fake man-made piece made from glass from a genuine one? Do you bring yours to lab to check if it's real meteorite?
@moonrice it doesn't make monetary sense to have it tested in a lab. you can simply check its energy by holding it in your hand if you are sensitive enough. if not, you can place it on the position of your 3rd eye (the place slightly above the spot between your eyebrows). you will feel sensations you never feel with a normal glass unless you are really closed to energetic sensations. anyway, most of the fake moldavites are easy to differentiate once u have the experience :)

@moonrice I know there r some online shops that sell real n fake moldavites together so it's really diffc 2 know until u've actually received the moldavites. Is there any reason y u want a moldavite? Hv u done enough research abt them? U need 2 know that moldavites r v powerful & they r v partcular abt their "keeper". If u r not d keeper a moldavite want, it'll try v hard 2 get away fr u. They can cause mayhem in ur life just so u will let it go. Read some forums n u'll find out :)

But in my experience a moldavite have only abt 50% chance of suiting a person at random. Myself, most moldavites don't like me (like 65%) but most (90%) angel chimes like me :). And if u happen to get the moldavite that u r destined to meet ... u can hv adventures w it :). I collect n help ppl find stones/crystals that match them so I know :)

But I think I've given up, it sounds too complicated to find a Moldavite that would suit me, besides for me Moldavites are available only online, which isn't trustworthy even if seller is from Czech, on the other hand there's wide choice though. Angel chimes that I saw are too expensive, and as you say there's still a chance that the seller is lying, money is wasted. I can't take such risk.

I can dowse d compatibility of a stone generally from 0-100%. Recently, i've "gained" the ability to do remote dowsing. And realised the danger w Moldavites after reading more abt them fr ppl who used moldavites. I have a HUGE collection of moldavites but realised that most of them do not agree with me. @moonrice I'm able to match stones and crystals very accurately through dowsing. Most of my clients are v happy with the crystals I match for them. I've recently "developed" the ability to do remote dowsing whereby I can match crystals with people through just the photos. It's analogous to "distant reiki/energy healing" except that i'm dowsing. While fake moldavites are dime a dozen out there, tt's impossible to fake an angel chime moldavite. However, you have to beware who u buy angel chimes from. The "non-angel chime" moldavite in this video was purchased from an online site supposedly selling angel chimes. I had to make a video to prove that it's not an angel chime. Even then, the sellers refused to give me a refund.

Try throw the number 6 on the other side. Sometimes different tones come out depending on how the moldavite landed which side it lands on the ground first. Sometimes depending on the angle it lands.
