Back when this was free I use to watch it non stop, it's really amazing! I've since switched over to American style comics, but I still read from the greats mainly Naoki Urusawa!!!
it's patronizing "MANGA MAD" what an idiotic name! It's such a pathetic outsider's look inside, also if anyone was actually interested in watching stuff like this, they'd rent "otaku no video" or "japanorama" by the BBC.
The writeup for this video is so poorly done:

COMIC capital of the world?! where does that come from? Anime and Manga are two different things!
Thanks for the comments. A lot of your concerns are covered in the film, the dichotomy of anime and manga, and presenting Tokyo (in particular Electric City) as the center of the genre. There are a number of interviews with some very real talents in the industry, and the filmmaker himself presents himself as every bit an otaku. Check it out!
