  • Wow! Thank you Jesus, you are Lord. your wonders will never end.

    God bless Alan Jackson

  • 예수를. 나의. 구주로삼고 나사는동안 끊임없이구주를찬송하며 살아가렵니다

  • Wow, that is awesome, I did not know he sang gospel songs, I love his singing. This is even better.

  • great old time gospole song love the way you do it alan

  • 17/12/11/

  • What a glorious way to start a day...PRAISING MY LORD & SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST! AMEN!!

    God Bless,

    Jeff

  • The best music for the road trip:)

  • @nonie22ful: you're so right. It's so great and heart warming to see when people do this ... And I'm particularly happy that Alan Jackson did. His voice and songs are just great :)

  • Great! i'm so glad to know that you used your talent in praising Almighty God. Hope that many people may encourage to serve God through your testimony! More power and God bless!

  • I LOVE THESE OLD GOSPEL SONGS.. HEALS THE SICK AND COMFORTS THE LOST.

SUCH A BLESSING TO HAVE THESE SONGS AVAILABLE WHENEVER WE WANT..PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Praisin' my Savior all the day long! :D

  • 12/11/11/, CCB 138

  • ho! Lord I thank you for every moment on my life, all is good since you saved me. and this beutifull music by Alan Jackson. may God Bless America

  • great performance of a GREAT song

  • good song. i wish Neil Peart from RUSH wrote his lyrics tho. hey dont call me stupid. the bible probably does tell some truth, but givem a break, they wrote poetry all the time and sometimes got carried away. even the incest stories may not be true. for the truth listen to RUSH the new one is CARAVAN

  • @MultiRushfan GO GET RUSH.. LEAVE ALAN AND MY GOD AND THE BIBLE OUT OF YOUR PSYCHOSIS

  • @MultiRushfan I'm a Rush fan too, but you cannot compare modern rock lyricists to the Psalms, or, for that matter, the excitement of a concert to the joy of knowing and praising the Savior. Even rock gods will die, but only Jesus rose to offer eternal life.

  • this is my story!!!this is my song praising my savior all the day long!!!!!!

  • @StrumstickJoe you're stupid if you don't believe the bible has any truth, it is both historically accurate and made profound prophecies, it was written over a large period of time, jesus' existence has more proof than the life of julius cesar and the bible is the most supported book in human history, it's also the most popular, that shows a divine creator to me, Luke was particularly accurate, there are things mentioned in the bible like the earth goes round the sun, the earth will die etc, yo

  • Things may not be absoluetely perfect, or ever close. But all I want to do is praise Jesus! and it feels so good!

  • Sooo good!

  • My mama used to sing me this every night while stroking my face to put me to sleep. Her voice was so beautiful.

She's very sick now. Paralyzed, and can no longer speak. If I had known, all those years, that she would be the way she is now...I wouldn't have ever taken it for granted.

This ones for you, mommy. I truly believe He will heal you someday...and I can't wait to sing this with you.

  • this is just amazing one of the best singers ever singing a great song

  • The Ryman is one of the coolest places to visit and to tour if you enjoy older country music and gospel. This place is full of it and is extremely important to the future of country music.

  • Heard this at Wembly with Billy Graham -George Hamilton sang One Day at a Time l have it on V H S tape

  • BLESSED ASSURANCE POSSESSION IS MINE

OH WHAT A FORETASTE OF TORMENT DIVINE

BATHED IN JESUS'S BLOOD BOILED IN HIS FLESH

THE HOLY GHOST BLASPHEMED CAST INTO HELL

  • @joel053 “POSSESSION IS MINE..TORMENT DIVINE..BATHED IN JESUS'S BLOOD…BOILED IN HIS FLESH..CAST INTO HELL”

Sick images from a sick cult.

A cross is an instrument of torture. Human sacrifice is evil and repulsive. The bible is full of genocide, rape, incest, murder, slavery and torture.

You are required to love a thing while you fear it. That is sado-masochism.

Find some reason and peace from all this dangerous, sick, human-devised garbage!

  • John 8:12 Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life." John 10:9 "I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture." John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." For help beginning a saving relationship with Jesus call1-888-Need-Him or go to NeedHim.org

  • @clintmmartin The bible contains almost no truth at all. It is a bad thing to quote, therefore, in pursuit of truth.

It is also the most immoral text that it is possible to imagine (although the koran runs it pretty close!)

So if you want freedom, love, and a world of peace and clarity....

    Dump it!

    Peace to you.

  • @StrumstickJoe If you do not believe in the bible, or you do not read the living Word of God then your eyes are truly covered in spiritual blindness from the true Word of God that is absolutely 100% true. I am not talking about religion but rather having been there, done that, I have truly found a personal relationship with my Lord and Savour, Jesus Christ. Only until you have made the decision to accept Him as your personal Lord and Saviour you will never know the secrets of HIs Kingdom.

  • @rockstaryeayeayea ... and thank goodness for that!

I am not really against the naive, innocent believers in some kind of mystical imaginary friend - but they should be aware that theirs is a belief which is shared by the terrorists of this world, whose apocalyptic view endangers us all.

The belief that we should try to spread urgently is that there is no soul or after life, ergo, this life is the most valuable and precious thing we have.

Don't be a slave or believe in magic.

  • It's a religion that took our ancestors by the sword. Our native religions were raped so that a few religions leaders could have their power. They taught us that following their cult would lead us to some sort of salvation. There is no salvation in a spiritually dead "religion" that is extremely deceptive towards its own followers.

  • @Vovk3 Religion is demeaning to the human race, with its primitive belief in a creator and "lord" to whom you must grovel; and its assumption of guilt to control the mind of the vulnerable by calling it a soul and threatening it with eternity.

You must beware the irrational, however seductive. Shun the 'transcendent' and all who invite you to subordinate or annihilate yourself.I am here for the same reason as a leaf, or a stone, or a planet, and my destiny is the same as those things.

    Peace.

  • @StrumstickJoe If you choose to be so naive because you in fact say that I am... let me tell you something... I am the most sceptic person and un-naive person. My God is alive not dead. I've been there, done that, all of it. I do not believe in magic and am NO ONE's slave! Those terrorists you call of this world are also human beings... they have a choice - it's called "FREE WILL" and you alone will one day come to that crossroad in this lifetime and at the end of your life don't expect magic.

  • @rockstaryeayeayea How come you're no-one's slave when all the other christians are?

How come you want to distinguish between magic and miracles? In your context they are the same thing, it's just that "magic" is a word that will make you appear naive.

Even if jc existed, and rose from the dead, you are still holding an empty sack - you still need to show existence of divinity, and a reason why that person should give you your morals.

    Don't accept an unwarranted guilt.

    Peace on earth. Please!

  • @rockstaryeayeayea

    Prove it.

  • @StrumstickJoe It's sad when people are so shallow in their way of thinking and have no basis to argue when they don't even know the Word of God here. Keep your comments to yourself if you choose not to engage in lifting high the name of Jesus - we're all sinners believe it or not and here's your chance now in this (your) lifetime to find the secrets to His Kingdom. Your choice - leave the rest of us here who have found Christ and are in a true relationship with the Almighty God alone. YEA!

  • @rockstaryeayeayea I have seen no evidence from you that I am shallow-thinking. Of course I don't believe "the word of god" (I know enough of it to know that it is immoral, vindictive etc.)

I think I have thought a lot, I have engaged in debates for years. If any evidence comes along which isnot wish-thinking and indoctrination then I'm with you!

  • @StrumstickJoe Good to see that you're paying attention. Now just find yourself a good church and pray and ask Jesus into your life. Remembering that we are all sinners and without acknowledging what Jesus did for each one of us on the cross to save us from having to go through judgment day. Finding Jesus is the first step - the rest will come with you by deep submission and asking for forgiveness.

  • @rockstaryeayeayea

It's you that's not paying attention:

"Even if jc existed, and rose from the dead, you are still holding an empty sack - you still need to show existence of divinity, and a reason why that person should give you your morals."

    Don't accept any unwarranted guilt.

  • @StrumstickJoe I have His attention, I have His proof, and I have no guilt and why should I? I am born again and know what He did on that cross for me. You don't have to tell me that I am "not paying attention" when in fact you still don't have His attention. Unfortunately, there comes a time when we have to seek and you shall find the wonderous God I serve! God did not give us empty sacks to prove His existence. He gave us His son with whom He was well pleased and on the third day He arose

  • @rockstaryeayeayea I don't believe that a single word you're saying has any basis in fact.

At last try to understand that.

I don't expect you to change, because you are too committed and would have to retract too much.

But at least understand that I (and millions of others) don't give the faith any credit or respect at all, because, as explained fully, I believe it is based on primitive superstition and modern sycophantic emotion.

  • @StrumstickJoe Let me again point out that the Living Word, aka The Bible is proven fact that the Word is 100% true and you can start by reading these verses to at least understand where you might get some of your answers. You don't know Jesus like I know him because you lack knowledge and that is clearly the case for you. Get a Bible (I read the latest version of the NIV) and read these verses to start: John 15:23; 1 Corinthians 2:14; Psalm 69:4, Matthew 2:16; Ephesians 6:12; Acts 19: 23, 24.

  • @rockstaryeayeayea I understand that you are committed to the bible - and that are unable to understand that a book can not prove itself (the book says it is right, therefore the book is right!)

You say "Let me again point out that the Living Word, aka The Bible is proven fact that the Word is 100% true" and I say: Reading the bible only results, for me, in massive disbelief that anybody can take it seriously - let alone form their moral code from its primitive doctrines. It is not proven at all

  • @StrumstickJoe It is obvious to me that you have not taken the time to read the Bible and seem to be very ignorant of the fact that unless you see it, feel it, it cannot simply exist. You really shouldn't be ignorant of the Bible and its truths. The truth shall set you free! You just need to get to know Jesus and as much as I know what you're about to say to me again, I can tell you that without Jesus in my life, I'd still be looking, searching like you. Why not take the time to meet Jesus?

  • @rockstaryeayeayea You're still taking it seriously.

I knew you were a hopeless case.

  • @StrumstickJoe Unfortunately, you're the "hopeless case" and albeit you will someday soon I hope come to realize what a wonderful God I serve and how wonderous it is to live for Him! He's my rock, my saviour, my Yehwah and Jehovah unlike no other! His grace is amazing!

Do you really think your bantering here would even in the slightest way change me from believing in my Lord and Saviour? - BIG ANSWER - NOPE! AND I'M SERIOUS!

  • @rockstaryeayeayea I don't expect you to change, because you are too committed and would have to retract too much.

Just understand that you are not right, and some people know this.

  • @StrumstickJoe There is only one who is "right" and perfect! And that's not you... therefore not to be ignorant of what you don't know and don't understand would be an understatement given the basis and the fact that you simply cannot have God's holy spirit upon your life given the fact that you are so removed from His presence. God will respond to those who truly seek after Him. You are always welcome to accept and repent from your sins as we are all sinners believe it or not. Matthew 7:24.

  • @rockstaryeayeayea I told you what I think of the bible and yet you still quote it to me! Why?

(Actually, that is a rhetorical question, please don't answer it.)

I only claim to be "right" on this subject - and I never have claimed to be perfect.

I deny utterly the existence of "the holy spirit", and all the other "gods" in the bible and all the texts that have ever been composed by fanciful primitives.

    Goodbye, then.

  • @StrumstickJoe Wow you are really fighting hard against these people. It's useless to try to prove what you are saying to Christians, well believers of God and his son Jesus. We build our trust on faith, we don't need proof to believe. So you are fighting a losing battle. I don't like what you are saying against my Heavenly Father or his word. How bad it would be if you had to have all proof of air before you took a breath. You are really wasting your time by arguing here....He still loves you

  • Allan is terrific. Going to see Ricky Skaggs on Aug 26 at watseka theatre watseka illinois.

  • Got the CD. One of best. Nice to hear the voice.

  • There's a whole page here of devoted christian delusion.

I've never seen so much of it together.

there's usually at least one dissenting voice.

Peace on earth to you all.

  • @StrumstickJoe

Go in peace. You have made your decision....we've made ours.

  • @Antlers68 Trouble is, your decision involves listening to pap words in worship of a non-existent deity who apparently needs the worship so much that he's gong to fry you if you don't do it.

My decision involves looking at the universe and marvelling in it without any needing any mystical "cause" for it.

I am here for the same reason as a leaf, a rock, a planet - and I share the same destiny as those things.

    So do you.

    Peace on eearth.

  • @StrumstickJoe look we dont NEED to worship God, we chose to in our own free will, and if we dont do it, we dont get zapped off the face of the earth. God is loving and forgiving, the end is near, do you want to be on the losing side of the war that has raged for thousands of years, the war for your heart, and the war for all of our hearts

  • @StrumstickJoe look i undertand that you dont love the lord, but i personally pray you dont miss your chance to be with millions of people in the greatest place anybody can imagine. streets made of solid gold, gates made of pearls. do you want to miss that becouse you were to stuborn to listen

  • @stopyohattin 2) …You must now grovel on your imaginary knees for eternity, for there is a hugely insecure deity “there” who demands that worship as he demands your love.

Is that where you want to be?

If it existed it would be pure hell.

I am here for the same reason as a leaf, or a stone, or a planet, and my destiny is the same as those things. That makes me happy enough. Despite my importance today, and my sentience, I am no more than a transient happening.

    Peace on earth to you.

  • @stopyohattin 1) You don't understand at all.

I do not hate or love something that doesn't exist.

Faith: the apprehension of divine truth apart from evidence or reason. Heaven: You enter a situation where there is no sense of sight, touch, taste, smell or hearing; there is no sense of place, balance, justice or distance, nor any physical brain; where there are no smiles or disappointments, no names or faces. There is no light or night; clouds or grass; discussion, opinions or memories…

  • @stopyohattin Is your name supposed to be "stopyorhatin"??

Anyway... get out of this idea that atheists and antitheists "hate" your imaginary entities.

    It is not so.

We might hate and fear the fanatical idiots who walk the earth with and apocalyptic view and don't give a toss for this life as a result of their sick POV

Your rather pathetic image of "heaven" shows your naivety. (Would gold streets really turn you on? For ever?)

    Never mind.

(Imagine listening to AJ for ever!!)

  • Thanks.

  • "This is my story,

This is my song---Praising my SAVIOR all the day long!"

  • one man talking to jesus.......what more can be said

  • this was the last song my grandma sung to me be4 she passed i know your watching over me :'(

  • where i can get tab for this song ?

  • "Perfect submission" is not a very American idea. Please don't wash me in any bloodbaths, that's disgusting.

  • @thetallesttexan jesus shed it for us you should be thankful.... ughh.. you disgust mee

  • @thetallesttexan You are correct. Perfect submission is not an American idea. Jesus is not an American idea. God existed long before the United States did. I am assuming you understand that it is not a literal "bloodbath". Being baptized in Jesus' name and being filled with his spirit is how we are washed. It goes back to Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden when they willfully rebelled (non-submission) against the one thing He told them to not do. Later we find that

  • @thetallesttexan You are correct. Perfect submission is not an American idea. Jesus is not an American idea. God existed long before the United States did. • @mskalculate Later we find that (and this is historical and can be proven) that the hebrews had to sacrifice certain animals to atone for their sin, but that was only temporary. It really just kinda rolled it forward, but it was still there. That is where the blood of Jesus comes in. God enrobed HIMSELF in flesh and became a man and walked on this earth and was tempted in every way possible. He was crucified (shed His own blood willingly) to be the ultimate sacrifice.

  • @mskalculate Now we, the gentiles, by HIs mercy and grace are also allowed to become one of Hids own, through HIS sacrifice and HIS victory in defeating death (sin seperates us from God, it is a spiritual death that I am referring to). Through one man's disobedience (Adam) we were all made sinners, but through another man's obedience Jesus) we are redeemed. I am not telling you this to argue with, acuse, belittle, or judge you or anyone else.

  • @mskalculate You may already be aware of everythnig I just typed, but without the "blood" being put in it's proper perspective, it is disgusting. Everything God went through on the cross was disgusting and painful, yet He did it to give us a chance to be with Him. Hell was never intended for us, and inn order for us to avoid going there, we have to have His blood applied to our lives.

  • @thetallesttexan Please excuse any typing errors in all of that. I am still human, imperfect.

  • Autotune much?

  • I lovr You Jesus. It is about You not me. Unsaved folk have no idea how much they are missing. Come to Jesus

  • The new T-Ernie! And a good one too...

  • The new T-Ernie! And a good one too...

  • Jesus is mine !!

  • amazing song!

  • God Has Give an assurance that he will never fail, NEVER FAIL........

This song keeps me going on for years, hoping for that blessed hope...

Where there'll be no more tears....

  • thank you

  • I am so very thankful that Alan loves Jesus Christ!!! He sure went through a change in his life after he became Born Again in comparison to the early and mid and late 90's.

  • I like the Joke with Jesus comment. I'm relying heavily on God's sense of humor

  • jesus is not spiteful, nor is God the father, but he does correct his children, as do all parents who care about their children. parents teach their children not to play in traffic, do they not? the father will teach you how to behave as a spiritual being. he will do it with love, but you will not be coddled.

  • Jesus is the truth, whatever you say wrong against Christ , you will have to pay for it. and you know what he still loves you and able to hug you rather than cursing or fighting thats our christ......... OUR love

  • miss you pap, more than you would ever know.

  • My new favorite song!

  • It amazes me that when I read all of the negative comments about Christian music is that these folks had to SEARCH for these songs. You can slander, make fun, comment badly about Jesus all you want. That will never bother me. This is because I love Jesus and little things that come from pure ignorance have zero meaning in my life. Comment all you want REMEMBER you searched Christian songs. You recognized that HE exists..other wise you would not have know what to search. God Bless you all.

  • love to who hate, love to who love. jesus is love. jesus loves all.jason

  • THIS SONGS HOT! CLUB BANGER.

  • @OutfieldAngel3669 im sorry your dad passed away, but dont cry honey, let it bring you comfort.

  • @OutfieldAngel3669

We also sang this song at my father's funeral. This song never fails to bring tears to my eyes & so does "He Touched Me" sung by Elvis.

  • @OutfieldAngel3669 ~ same here....singing it at church tomorrow, too. Hoping to keep it together. :)

  • @OutfieldAngel3669

This is a song which bring u deep very deep in the world of jesus, we must trust him. Even we have hard time

that near to famaily break or other hard time, just surrend that problem to Jesus. He will show and guide us to the solving way.

  • adiciono em 24/09/2010

  • like :)

  • A very nice version , Randy Travis also does a great job on this hymn. The music was composed in Brooklyn NY in 1872 by Phoebe Palmer Knapp. Her friend Fanny Crosby added the lyric. You can read all about the amazing life of Mrs. Knapp and her family and friends in the book THE KNAPPS LIVED HERE that was just published. The book was written by Nashville songwriter Ken Spooner. Just Google it ...

  • As long as he's praising the lord I don't
