I am not talking about religion but rather having been there, done that, I have truly found a personal relationship with my Lord and Savour, Jesus Christ. You don't know Jesus like I know him because you lack knowledge and that is clearly the case for you. Get a Bible (I read the latest version of the NIV) and read these verses to start: John 15:23; 1 Corinthians 2:14; Psalm 69:4, Matthew 2:16; Ephesians 6:12; Acts 19: 23, 24.

God enrobed HIMSELF in flesh and became a man and walked on this earth and was tempted in every way possible. He was crucified (shed His own blood willingly) to be the ultimate sacrifice.

She's very sick now. Paralyzed, and can no longer speak. If I had known, all those years, that she would be the way she is now...I wouldn't have ever taken it for granted.

You don't know Jesus like I know him because you lack knowledge and that is clearly the case for you. Get a Bible (I read the latest version of the NIV) and read these verses to start: John 15:23; 1 Corinthians 2:14; Psalm 69:4, Matthew 2:16; Ephesians 6:12; Acts 19: 23, 24.

@mskalculate Later we find that (and this is historical and can be proven) that the hebrews had to sacrifice certain animals to atone for their sin, but that was only temporary. It really just kinda rolled it forward, but it was still there. That is where the blood of Jesus comes in. God enrobed HIMSELF in flesh and became a man and walked on this earth and was tempted in every way possible. He was crucified (shed His own blood willingly) to be the ultimate sacrifice.

A very nice version , Randy Travis also does a great job on this hymn. The music was composed in Brooklyn NY in 1872 by Phoebe Palmer Knapp. Her friend Fanny Crosby added the lyric. You can read all about the amazing life of Mrs. Knapp and her family and friends in the book THE KNAPPS LIVED HERE that was just published. The book was written by Nashville songwriter Ken Spooner. @mcgustancoolstuff amen to that!!! i love listening to his songs his version of songs mychurch is like its counttry its not praising the lord its to up beat but he isnt up beat country like some christain county singers will take a beautifull song and make it up beat i can see my church saying its not good than but its slow and it prasing the lord,i dont know if i make scence i hope i didnt confuse you too much i love listening to songs like these it so great to listen to!!
