of the original mounted intake manifold that you modified? I have a 2000 mazda miata and planning on buying JR/SC too. Also do you have intercooler installed?
Hey dude, what wheels are you running? Looking very nice. I have a MK2.5 and am looking for that kind of dished look although I want to run 15x7... these are 16s?
Because i moved the throttle body back to the original location, behind the supercharger/ on the intake manifold. The JacksonRacing s/c is mounted on the drivers side of the engine, the intake is on the pass side. So this makes the s/c push air between shift... and it needs a BOV just like a turbo. There is a neat article on miata DOT net about if, do a search for "JRSC without moving throttle body" to get a full explanation. BTW, the supercharger is for sale!!
Looks (and sounds) awesome! I'm more of a track guy (rather than drifting) but I can still attest that Miatas are fantastic at getting (and staying) sideways :-)
I see it welded onto your exhaust system. They don't have to sound quiet and smooth, they just have to not sound like the Fast & the Furious spawned it. There's a lot of low displacement engines that have exhausts that sound real nice, once you get one like that it's a fine machine. I like everything else about your car.
actually, if you want to get technical, the exhaust is made by a old company called Brainstorm. It was a Miata specific muffler and lacks any large shiny grapefruit cannons.... go check out Flyinmiata . com as they now sell it under their name.
Fart can?? Oh please tell me where you see a fart can! I'll give ya $100 if you can tell me where it is. BTW since when do race cars have to sound quiet and smooth??? fuktard
lol seriously... dont listen to c2comics he is obviously a dumbass that doesn't know anything about japanese motoring. I would love for c2comics to find my a drift/race car that is quiet. what a fucking idiot.

Nice paint, who did it for you. I have a 2003 mx5 in the UK. Its british racing green, and i really like the look of it ith the orange.
Just about to get a supercharger for it: any recomendations?
fabers92 4 years ago
I did it. But it was not paint, it was ALL done with vinyl decal. Took over 10hrs to apply and about 6hrs to remove.
Don't think you'll have any problems with the s/c...great kit right off the bat!

Cool, thanks. Also just noticed that spoiler, which one is it, looks good on the car. I presume youve lowered it aswell.
fabers92 4 years ago
lol hes had that spoiler for sale for a while. Not sure if he did or not.

What Supercharger are you running....and why does it say "BOV"? Why do you have a blow off valve? It's a belted system...not a spinning fan.
