That fabric looks like liganete (in Portuguese), I don't know the name in English or Spanish, that is more appropriate to use at the beach. It is 95% polyester and 5% spandex.

wow GiannyL you again Rock... my wife cant stop watching your videos. She made that one from a grey fabric I used to cover my car when our garage was been repaired. She is a big girl 5'6 230, so she used the whole thing to make her swimsuit. Now when I go jog at the beach to keep myself in shape I can see from a mile my grey babe dot. I told her that she looks so cute, if the fabric was black I would call her lil Willie.

@maiteduarte I just purchased a couple tie dye sarongs to make my own loungewear similar to this; fold in half and (cut to length desired and make the neck and put the elastic in). Rayon or thin knits are best- THIS fabric she used is beautiful! I chose sarongs I bought online because I wanted tie dye and rayon, not polyester. It flows and drapes wonderfully and breathes too. Good luck!

Just save up for a sewing machine(or maybe get one for your birthday/christmas if your parents are generous enough, or if you want, hand sew) and take a trip to a local fabric store. And try. So when someone asked you where you got that cute top, you can say,"I made it. Jealous?"
