  • This is the sort of wonderful crazy humour that is so rare today ! Does anyone know anything as funny as Cleese and company? If so please let us know.

  • JOHN CLEESE I LOVE YOU SO MUHUHUHUHCH

  • CLASSSSSSSIC PYthon !!

  • @ echovector "Gentleman, originality is too risky and expensive. And new ideas make the average consumer's brain hurt." What media conglomerates believe about the average American audience. Hence remakes, reboots, and tame bullshit TV shows Hollywood produces like so many McDonald McNuggets, TM.

  • ITS THE END THE EAD *STABS STELF*

  • OHH IT MAKES ME MAD

  • YOU BASTERDS YOU VICIOUS HEARTLESS BASTERDS

  • a dirty fuck

  • Easy, Mongo!

  • Monty Python comedy is LEGENDARY, everything else just pales in comparison!

  • THE WOUUUUUUNNNNNNDDD!!!!!!!

  • Kim Jung Ill is like a dirthy fork. But he is clean dead now.

  • Despair event horizon.

  • This was the first monty python scotch I ever saw, I was in pieces with laughter

  • Michael Palin : "Gaston sack the entire washing-up staff"

    I loooooooooooooove this sketch !

  • The best part of this entire bit is that the customers in the back do absolutely nothing.

  • My favorite part of this whole sketch is Graham's feigned laughter when Cleese begins his tirade.

  • The next time I go into a restaraunt, I'm going to yell "THE WOUND!!!!!!!!!!!!" and then hit the deck.

  • YOU BASTARDS!!

  • lucky for me i didnt say anything about the dirty fork LOL OMG

  • REVENGEEEEEE!!!!

  • A vast BOWL OF PUSS!!!! :''''''D

  • who's got the war wound ?

  • This is NOT the original version. This is the same verions everyone else on youtube has posted. The origninal, once you see it, is actually quite a bit funnier becaue John Cleese's bit is inspiring. He doesn't say the word "feeble" at all.... anyway, you shouldn't say this is the the original version of the sketch because it's obviously the exact same version as one can find anywhere else, the verison that was recorded later for "And Now For Something Completely Different"

  • You bastards! You vicious, heartless bastards! Look what you've done to him! He's worked his fingers to the bone to make this place what it is! And you come here with your petty, feeble quibbling and you grind him into the dirt! This fine, honorable man whose boots you are not worthy to kiss!

  • Terry Jones's French accent is pretty good! ^^

  • SACK THE ENTIRE WASHING STAFF!!!

  • michael palin is like grover in this

  • LOL, donkey rides.

  • Ha! Those guys at the beginning were hauling ass.

  • When John Cleese walks out, you KNOW something's gonna go down lol

  • i don't know why i like the man in the medieval armour so much :D

  • You bastards!!

  • I wonder what would have happened if someone's chicken had been undercooked. Seppuku for the entire kitchen, probably.

  • 2 people were poisoned by eating with a dirty fork.

  • "Never kill a customer" =)

  • That was a fine punchline.

  • @Zetapimpkin Actially, the whole point of the sketch was how bad the punchline tends to be compared to the 'set-up' before it. So, the Pythonites wrote this as an ex. of what they intend NOT to do in their skits.

  • The 2 people who disliked this are fags :)

  • Pause right at 3:57 LMAO

  • nobody yells like Cleese.

  • 4:57 - I wonder if Terry does rugby

  • lol WHY THIS WHY THIS!

  • You Bastards!!! ROFL classic

  • A vast ball of PUSS

    xD Hilarious sketch

  • hahahah

  • I can't believe no one has mentioned that EPIC tackle by Terry! It's the most hilarious part of the sketch! That woman is lucky she didn't get kicked in the face!

I also love Graham's nervous laugh when John comes out yelling. This sketch is one of the best!

  • i love how john cleese comes out, knows nothing about the situation and just attacks! You Vicious heartless bastards!!!!

  • ...my ribs hurt. That's so ridiculously funny...

  • That something you don't see every day. Someone in full armor on the beach, with a dead chicken.

  • i think that was a rabbit actually

  • really, i thought it was a rubber chicken

  • it's an albatross

  • What flavor?

  • LOL... The head waiter is rather like Gollum.

  • Shall the world ever again know comedy of the same quality as that of Monty Python?

    The answer, is no.

  • @Shademp true. todays 'comedy' is all about cursing and fart jokes.

when ppl like Billy Connolly, Eddie Izzard will 'expire' i am afraid that comedy as we know it will expire as well.

    shame.

  • @Shademp I agree; no one else could possibly make light of death so well.

  • @Shademp No indeed. Creative talent has gone the way of the DoDo bird. Extinct in every way. Not simply comedy, but all arts. Give an ear, if you can stand it, to "new" music. Have a look, again, if it can be tolerated, at "neuvo Art". They are even re-making classic movies for lack of any new talent in the idea department. Aside from the increasingly rare individual savant, we are living in an desert. Surely a mark of the decline of civilization.

  • @echovector Lucky we didn't say anything about the unoriginal knife!

  • @Shademp Hugh+Stephen

  • what did the headwaiter said after he said to chef that "never kill a customer?"

  • Oh! The WOUND!!! I think

  • Lovely suit!

  • Beautiful comedy!

  • im doing this play in drMA CLASS

  • u lucky....lucky...BASTARD! do u say bastard in ur drama? lol

  • "Never kill a customer."

  • "IT'S THE END!"

    "REVENGE!"-John steals the show here
