My parents (Father Flew in Korean War with Buzz Aldren & Mom was a retired RN). In the 60's went to a town hall meeting in NH where Betty and Barney Hill were speaking about their abduction. Check out the found taped interviews with Betty Hill at massufoshow on YouTube . . very great info. and lot's of interesting accounts from Betty about why they are here etc etc. . .
Hear what God of Israel YAHUSHUA-YAHUWAH (Son and Father are ONE) saying to our generation by His chosen prophets: Trumpetcallofgodonline. com ; Letter called "Purify Your Faith, and Come to the Father as It is Written": EXCERPT: "Only in the Bible and through these very Letters, of which I have given to My prophet of the end of this age, shall you find Him and know Him."
Question is: What WOULD count as "hard enough evidence"?
(Usually we're not all that "hard" on the "evidence" - so why are we - that is, why do we feel we have to be - in such cases (UFO sightings, abductions, & so forth)? Clearly, we - sort of a priori - tend to just dismiss these possibilities. Shouldn't the question be then: Do we have any strong reason(s) to dismiss, off-hand, all this irregular stuff? Not really. Still, something is definitely missing here. Weird epistemological catch-22!)
@ebrobaru Of course. But this doesn't quite address what's puzzling me here. What kind of evidence (& how much of it, & of what quality) wld be enough to make the belief in, say, the abduction phenomena reasonable? I never met (& am unlikely to ever meet) Plato, but I do believe such an individual existed. On what evidence? Books I've read, etc. Same type of evidence that is NOT enough to convince me of, etc. Why the asymmetry? Not all good enough evidence is of the hard physical type...
@nealezumm You have said it before, there thousands of claims of abductions all over the world. Yet, not a single shred of evidence on even a single case. Not a single piece of an unknown material, a single piece of foreign writing, a single piece of information that has been confirmed independently afterwards. Plato´s history is documented in different ways by different people. If you don´t believe in his existence, that´s your problem. Not a valid comparison.
@ebrobaru If I had been abducted, how wld I go about proving it? My honesty wld hardly be enough!
Now, what when hundreds of people make similar claims? Dismiss all of them as crazy, liars, fantasy-prone? An option. So let's erect the following principle: A witness is only to be believed if his/her claim does not challenge what's commonsensically viewed as "reality." Not sure even an old-school positivist wld be willing to go that far! After all, even Science grows from challenging just that!
@nealezumm In the middle ages, claims were that angels took them. Now, in the midst of sci-fi movies and comics, it´s aliens. What would be in the 22nd century? No, a witness is believed if he can present enough credible evidence to backup his claims, EVEN if it goes against "common sense". Yes, science grows by challenging beliefs, but with evidence, not wishful thinking and good thoughts
@ebrobaru Ok. Not enough "credible evidence" (whatever the heck that would be - an abduction isn't exactly a controlled experiment!) - just a whole bunch of people making quite incredible claims. What do we do with that? Dismiss all of them as mad, delusional, somehow completely mistaken about what they say happened to them...? Not a very satisfactory option either, is it? I don't know what to make of this issue, and remain unpleasantly puzzled.
@ebrobaru You are quite right! One cannot prove that the abduction phenomena is "real" (events caused by "beings" of some unknown origin - not just a product of the abductees' minds) in the absence of "hard" evidence. However, there is enough "soft" evidence (oddly consistent testimonies from sane people) to make it an intriguing phenomena, even if one dismisses the alien hypothesis. (Heard about the MIT conference that took place a few years back on this? Check C.D.B. Bryan's Close Encounters!)
@ebrobaru Glad we can agree on that! (But why say "wild" as if it were a bad thing? Quantum mechanics is pretty "wild" from a common sense viewpoint - yet (so far) it's the best theory (& very well-confirmed experimentally I'm told - unlike some other things!) of the behavior of sub-atomic particles). Cld be Nature is so wild (when we ain't lookin') our best hope to tame (=understand) it shall always come short. Still I have much sympathy for Mr. Sagan's healthy skepticism, & therefore yours!
@nealezumm Yes, to our everyday view, quantum mechanics can be perceived as wild. But i has a solid base, like it or not. With abductions we are still on shaky ground.
@ebrobaru An afterthought: It might not be as simple as finding the right bit of compelling evidence (if it exists). Some Evangelical Christians still won't buy Darwinian evolution, not for a lack of evidence: It challenges their "weltbild." Evidence only speaks when one is willing to listen. (But I agree "hard" evidence of some kind wld help to get some scientific minds working on this instead of sincere but biased amateurs like Mr. B. Hopkins - whose methodology it seems leaves to be desired!)
what an arrogant jerk sagan comes off as in this video. i would have loved to challenge sagan on some "alleged event" in his life, force him to try to prove it really happened, and then tell him it hasn't been scientifically proven to me, so it must not have happened.
@harrylook Sagan is looking at the situation logically and dispassionately, unlike you, who are looking at it with extreme passion and no hint of logic. Calling him an "arrogant jerk" when he's merely pointing the obvious reasons why this story is impropable speaks to your level of arrogance, not Sagan's
@HNK222 No, pal. He completely rules out the possibility it happened. Because the Hills can't prove it. Just because something cannot be proven today does not mean it doesn't exist, or might not be proven in the future. His tone is decidedly arrogant.
@harrylook "If I were to suggest that... there is a china teapot revolving about the sun in an elliptical orbit, nobody would be able to disprove my assertion provided I were careful to add that the teapot is too small to be revealed even by our most powerful telescopes. But if I were to go on to say that, since my assertion cannot be disproved, it is intolerable presumption on the part of human reason to doubt it, I should rightly be thought to be talking nonsense." - Bertrand Russell
advanced meaning high intellect and more evolved.. just because someone has a high IQ and has been educated doesnt make them good. especially if they have brains that lack empathy like a sociopath. advanced can also mean morally and socially, but i think in this instance its just the mental skills, and technological advancements...
“.but if we can't identify a light, it doesn't make it a space ship.” Sagan is guilty of dismissing all sightings and encounters of lighted objects. For example, in 1976 a UFO, reported to move 20 miles in an instant, appeared over Tehran and was locked onto with radar from a military plane. A second lighted object emerged that went after the plane, at which time communications and weapons became inoperable. Clearly, some unidentified lights are likely advanced craft of unknown origin.
@Archetype77 It was REPORTED in a previously classified intelligence document, which can be found at Wikipedia under 1976_Tehran_UFO_incident.
Perhaps you believe the USAF is guilty of perpetrating a hoax? This was nothing that could be explained, and the only plausible conclusion was that it was some type of advanced craft, CLEARLY not man made.
@nofooIn Again, if what you have is "it was reported that they detected and saw an object that they didn't know what it was so...aliens." I can't jump on board. And that's not out of ignorance, it's out of reason. There are many natural phenomenon we don't have much account of, and there are many experimental aircraft tests (with mistakes) conducted by many different countries, which have been the source of many of these UFO stories over decades.
@Archetype77 The objects were not only observed and detected, they interacted with them. They behaved in a strategic manner (ruling out a natural phenomenon), and performed at a level beyond our capabilities. We have no proof of their origin, but we do know they were not man-made because we do not have the understanding of physics to achieve the performance that was observed.
@nofooIn "Ruling out natural phenomenon" Cause we understand everything about nature, clearly... You're exaggerating claims, it's no use arguing with someone who sees reasoning and acknowledgment of precedent (other examples that seemed unexplainable, but then were, and weren't aliens) as ignorance. I know you really want to believe aliens with those capabilities, would come here. or give the slightest care about us. You understand so little. It's cute :)
@Archetype77 Maybe you can site natural phenomena that behaves in a manner as I've illustrated. If another species has the capability to get here from light years away, we can expect them to have a far greater understanding of physics and display capabilities that seem fantastic. A few cases bear this out.
I doubt ET gives a hoot about us. I believe it is due diligence that motivates their study of our world.
Without much evidence of the origin of the object, a reasonable person assumes the latter is far more probable. But I'm sure that can justify you calling a genius a fool.
@Archetype77 We don't need to know the origin to determine that it isn't “one of ours”.
Sagan chose to ignore or remain ignorant of the facts. His legacy is that of a great communicator, unmatched by any in his field, but unfortunately he chose to preach a closed-minded approach to the UFO question that many have decided to adopt. Some say he did so to protect government funding of his projects, which seems a plausible explanation.
@SinuousSnake Do you consider all conspiracy theorists and UFO believers, nutjobs? If so, do some research before you ridicule others who are most likely far more knowledgeable on the subject(s) than you.
“The extraordinary claims are not supported by extraordinary evidence.” That's a catchy line, but it's irrelevant. There's plenty of evidence that shows we are being visited by ET, and it's in the form of expert testimony by commercial and military pilots along with corroborated radar data. All this statement does is to encourage us to turn a blind eye to the events that have happened in the recent past, and consequently keeps us from properly investigating what they are.
“..there is no corroborating evidence..” The Hill's car had highly polished marks on the trunk of their car, and it was magnetized; evidence that something did attach to the car as they described under hypnosis.
“..their psychologist believed it was sort of a dream.” Since when does someone's dream (Betty's) become another's (Barney) memory? This isn't possible. Clearly, this was an incorrect diagnosis, made because the psychologist refused to accept the possibility it was true.
“Remember, we only have their word...” Actually, their word was a description of their experience given under hypnosis, administered by a highly qualified doctor. They reported what happened as they saw it, and both accounts matched closely.
“Virtually all scientists are skeptical...” That's just Sagan's opinion; some scientists believe this was a real abduction case.
When you look at science fiction comics in the 1950s, such as by comic artists Basil Wolverton or George Evans, they all include fictional narrations of human and alien contact that resemble the Hill case and many other cases. It seems that people raised on fifties comic book fantasies are giving us the ufo testimonies.
@ undercoverkptic The details of this video are wrong. It was 10 days after she experienced nightmares, 4 yrs later - hypnosis. He says in this video "all we have is their word," but the nearby air force base declassified the document that showed the air base tracking this object. They also sent 2 planes out to get "eyes on" but the pilot's reports are still classified. Also, your depiction of the "capture" is ALL wrong. This video is classic disinformation at its best.
I was going to say doesnt Sagan sound like the Matrix's Agent Smith, then noticed in the playlist "Matrix vs Sagan". So someone else clearly noticed too. Its pretty uncanny. The actor playing Smith, Hugo Weaver I think hes called, could almost be doing an impersonation. It seems unlikely Sagan was the inspiration as theres nothing linking the Matrix and Sagan. Aside from one being set in the future and the other concerned with the future.
@mrzack888 If you want to talk about bad science, let's talk about Sagan's "Baloney Detection Kit". It was later refined a bit by Michael Shermer. It is a very useful list of logical fallacies that believers in UFOs and other pseudo-science fall into in their attempts to "prove" their theories. If you honestly care about the scientific method, you will eventually come to understand why extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
@casey Why didn't Sagan use his list of logical fallacies on things he believes? Extraordinary claims deserve extraordinary evidence, so before we believe life spontaneously generated in a pool of slime, we need to actually see that happen..right? As far as UFOs, what about the testimony of thousands of credible eyewitnesses, including police, fighter jet & airline pilots etc. radar detection & sometimes lingering radiation at landing sites? More evidence for UFOS than the fabled "missing link"!
@macolyis Two logical fallacies in your argument that no one has seen the moment when life first began; 1:An appeal to ignorance. Absence of evidence () is not evidence of absence. 2: An attack on existing claims. As for UFOs, Anecdotal evidence does not count in the scientific method. Nearly all UFO so-called 'evidence' is eyewitness testimony. Not acceptable as scientific evidence. Incidently, can you tell me where Sagan said he believes in spontaneous generation from a pool of slime?
@casey, The fact is Sagan believed in MANY things that he accepted as facts, that are really no more than anecdotal JUST SO STORIES. He presupposed life MUST have came from non life, because he presupposed there cannot be a creator, based on his PREJUDICE. He fervently believed secular humanist MYTHS with no proof what so ever, because they fit his desired world view.
There has been more than enough evidence with the UFO phenomena to prove to an unbiased person something is definitely going on!
@macolyis And you, I presume, believe in some kind of deity because it fits your desired world view. Most scientists (except the ID crowd whose presuppositions also fit their desired world view) "believe in" empirical models. But the difference between a scientist and theologian is that, in general, the scientist is happy to let go of his mistaken assumptions, if an improved model comes along. Deists tend to believe without empirical evidence. Stories are enough. Scientists are TRUE seekers.
@casey No most atheist scientists DO NOT believe in empirical models, they believe in just so stories completely unsupported by the evidence! They just PRESUPPOSE Darwin's fairy tale to be true without a shred of evidence; & then happily go about twisting and perverting the facts to fit into Darwin's FANTASY. Creation attests to a CREATOR! Creation is PROOF of God! If you disagree, provide video footage of life spontaneously generating from non life! Show hard PROOF for the nonsense you believe!
The goal of science is to try to explain to the best of our ability with the tools we have the observable phenomena. The best model we have so far to explain how complex organisms originated is natural selection. As you point out, no one has seen the spark initiating carbon forms to self-replicating single-celled organisms (abiogenesis), so the science carries on. Contrary to science and to the spirit of seeking truth, religion says God made it, which is no explanation at all.
@casey The goal of God hating blaspheming evolutionists like Sagan is to further their secular humanist RELIGIOUS agenda; by promoting through propaganda & misinformation the LIES of Darwinism, DESPITE the evidence NOT because of it! Atheist evolutionists freely admit the fossil record clearly CONTRADICTS Darwinism, as does DNA evidence as does many other things! The problem is there is no other "naturalistic explanation" that excludes God, so they will at any & all cost desperately cling to it!
Someone who defers all explanations to an invisible friend in the sky calls evolution a fairy tale! You don't see the irony there? How does creation prove God? There is a massive amount of evidence for natural selection. If you were a true seeker you would demand hard evidence for God. If you were really after the truth you would read up on natural selection and abiogenesis so you can critique it properly. But you do not want the truth. You are content in your religious faith.
@casey You are the one who needs to read up on abiogenesis; & learn that all there is to support it are fanciful just so stories that aren't based in reality & a LOT of imagination! You are the one who does not want truth & are content in your secular humanist FAITH; that all the magnificent CREATION that you see before your very eyes just evolved up out of the slime on its own, & the obvious design you see all around you isn't really a design! You are a willfully ignorant blasphemous GOD HATER!
@macolyis Your Phelps-esque tone and verbal attacks hint at a soul at war, rather than a follower of light; a legalist rather than a disciple. I urge you to find inner peace.
@casey I follow Jesus who IS the LIGHT! I try to live as He did & follow His example. Lets see how Jesus talked to vile abominable sons of Satan like you who love sin & hate God!
"Ye are of your father the devil, & the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, & abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, & the father of it." Jn 8:44
There is no truth in you, because you are of the devil!
@macolyis I submit to you, based on your fearful and insulting attacks, that you are not a true follower of Jesus. There is no love, light or compassion in your words. There is only fear and venom. It may surprise you to learn that I am a Bible College graduate and that having been a follower of Jesus for twenty years, I do not "love sin and hate God". I love Jesus. I also love science and reason. The Bible isn't a science book. It is a sacred text offering us spiritual guidance.
@casey, I submit to you ..you are a filthy abominable reprobate who loves your sins and hates God with all your being! You claim to love Jesus .. but your Jesus is an idol you have crafted in your own vile depraved imagination! The very fact you walk after the world & love secular myths of abominable God haters who are enemies of the cross, proves you are of your father Satan & KNOW NOT CHRIST! You love Dawkins who calls God such blasphemous names I won't repeat here! YOU ARE AN ENEMY OF CHRIST!
@macolyis I now realize I have trying to have a reasonable conversation with Fred Phelps. I will not send you any more messages. You are a sick, paranoid, delusional idol-worshipping, pig-headed loonie who just screams "the devil the devil!" when confronted by someone who disagrees with his narrow paradigm. If Jesus came to your house it would be to kick your ass. Grow up, child.
@casey, Jesus Christ is YOUR ENEMY, you Satanic abominable blaspheming viper of Satan! When Jesus Christ comes it isn't going to be tolerant & docile & to give God haters & blasphemers pats on the back! The real Jesus Christ is coming with a sword! He is coming to judge, to slaughter & to DAMN! My view is narrow & the way I follow is narrow, because there is only ONE truth & ONE way to be saved through Christ Jesus! you are on the broad path of the world, that leads to DESTRUCTION! TURN OR BURN!
@macolyis How easily you hate! How full of fear you are! Where are the forgiveness and love??? Where is the peace that passes understanding? What role does the Holy Spirit have in your life? All I see is fear and hate.
@casey, I have peace & love & forgiveness, but what you need to understand is scripture CANNOT contradict itself & there is no forgiveness from God without repentance! You call God derisive hateful names (imaginary friend in the sky etc) love those who openly mock & blaspheme Him to His face & AGREE with their message; & at the same time claim to be a Christian! The very most loving thing I can do for you, is tell you you are a son of Satan headed straight to hell, & Jesus used similar language!
@casey Natural selection is true, macro evolutiom is not true. A Bacteria developing resistance to an antibiotic & a lizard gradually becoming a man are two very different things. Proving one DOES NOT in any way prove the other or give any evidence for the other whatsoever! The hard evidence for God is INTELLIGENT DESIGN seen everywhere in creation. Your computer is evidence of INTELLIGENT DESIGN! If you were to say your computer evolved from natural phenomena, I would say provide HARD EVIDENCE!
@macolyis As Dawkins elegantly argues in The God Delusion (and elsewhere), there is a difference between designed things and things that appear to be designed. If you can recommend a good scientifically sound, peer-reviewed publication that supports ID (as opposed to the ravings of lunatics like Kent Hovind, I would be happy to read it. In the meantime I recommend The Greatest Show on Earth, Unweaving the Rainbow and The God Delusion, all by Richard Dawkins. Quite readable for the non-scientist.
@casey I don't follow Hovind, but he's no more a "lunatic" than your buddy Dawkins! If you want to talk about frothing at the mouth ravings, just open a Hitchens or Dawkins book!
Dawkins & Hitchens spend entire paragraphs calling God names or blaming all the worlds problems on "theocrats"!
Why would I listen to secular propaganda & lies coming from those wicked God hating sons of Satan?
Because Dawkins says something does it make it true? If he told you your TV made itself would you believe him?
@macolyis *Breathes deeply and counts to ten* Look...We listen to scientists because they help us understand how our PHYSICAL world works. Do not fear science. Natural selection (which is merely your co-called "micro-evolution" over a REALLY REALLY REALLY long period of time) explains the evolution of the body. The Bible explains the evolution of the spirit. Your task as a believer is to reconcile science and your faith. Closing your eyes and screaming "SATAN! SATAN!" is not going to help.
@casey Natural selection DOES not explain the "evolution" of the body at ALL! Natural selection always results in LOSS of useful information! For a lizard to become a more advanced creature there would need to be a SOURCE for much new intelligent information, which random mutations can never provide! Dawkins & Hitchens have no answers, only secular humanist propaganda which is based in their imagination & not in fact! The evidence CONTRADICTS Darwins predictions on every level! Darwin was WRONG!
@macolyis who says ????why is there a loss of information ??animals adapt to their environment,, the better equipped are better able to adapt ,,,which produces more advanced species... Darwin wasnt completely correct nor was he completely wrong .why do we find older reptilian fossils but no human fossils of the same age why are there distinct differences between human groups from various ages and environments...disproving evolution doesnt prove God!!!
@mug Animals can adapt to their environment because of a mutant gene giving them an advantage those with the normal gene do not have, but the problem is, this advantage usually comes at a COST & there is no new information in the direction of that animal becoming a new kind of creature! Sickle cell anemia provides resistance to malaria, but also is a DISORDER making one prone to other illness & less adapt in other ways. There is also no new information, only a corruption of existing information!
Respect to Sagan. down to earth guy that does not exclude the E.T. possibility at all and yet examines the case with the same objective and scientific approach that you would want your brain surgeon have.
There is so much evidence that we are being visited by alien (Alien, stranger, foreigner) beings from outside, or beyond earth. It's really quite amazing.
When millions across the planet see with their own eyes, and observe with their own reasoning minds what they see, we do not need priests, doctors, or presidents to tell us what is real or what is not real. They don't own the copyrights to reality.
There were radar reports of unknown objects in the vicinity of the Hills that night, as confirmed by Pease Air Force base, but Mr. Sagan only relates the facts that he chooses. Not science. And of course the skeptic might say, they were "weather balloons" that happened to be picked up on radar as the Hills happened to be having seen a UFO at that time...
I think the case is clear that something really did happen to Betty and Barney Hill.
I base that on my own investigation into the accounts. I also have a personal bias towards the Hills alleged account since I too have seen an object of questionable origin hovering above my neighborhood. But that is my personal experience, and I do not expect anyone to believe in the possibility of such phenomena unless they too have experienced such as I have.
The former seems more plausible than the latter considering the vast universe you yourself point out capable of fostering more than one intelligent world. The latter would seem to suggest that thousands of other are doing the same thing, which in itself would be a momentous mystery of vast importance to the scientific community.
. also, I would not believe, as you have suggested, that the flying object near the end of this video (an asteroid) was a flying saucer, because I am well aware that the literature supports that UFOs do not leave contrails or any type of smoke what-so-ever. And the hypnosis for them was inconclusive, that is Carl, that it might have been a very real occurrence, or it may have been unconsciously manufactured and shared by their minds.
Carl, sorry to say, but just because someone may have mistakenly attributed Betty's star map to something else does not prove that their whole experience was prob. fake.
@solarcross It doesn´t prove either that it was real. The "literature that supports" UFOs never provides any evidence at all. So, basically what you are saying, is that since there is not evidence of something, then it must be true?
@ebrobaru The UFO literature contains much evidence for something happening, sometimes physical, but mostly cultural. If you look at all the world's religions, myths, stories, etc. there are detailed accounts stemming from these that contain information on other-worldy visits to humans from something not-quite human. This massive amount of cultural data is stunning and one may only take a cursory glance at it to understand that it's both rich and complex.
@solarcross YEs it´s rich and complex, but there are myths. If you take them at face value and try to make them evidence, then that is a long long way. The un-debunked videos and photos are are just unexplained, if at all. Same with the foreign objects. They remain on the "I don´t know" pile. Unexplained, doesn´t mean alien.
There are also numerous un-debunked videos and photographs as well as military eye-witness testimonies to such things as UFOs. There has even bee a recent spout of anomalies within the human body, being removed (implants), and subject to laboratory tests only to yield the results of a "foreign object".
There have also been numerous physical marking left on the body after abduction takes place, but I usually reserve this for people who want to talk intelligently about the literature, because i see the "rationalistic" snug apathy from a mile away regarding these anomalies in consideration to those who have not read one single piece of classical UFO literature.
@solarcross You reserve that information for people who" want to talk intelligently about the literature"? You mean to say, people who will "believe anything blindly and will support your cause no matter what" and will not question you at all
Dr. Carl Sagan dedicated his whole life in educating the public and encourage them to use Critical thinking based on evidence or scientific facts to back up their claim or even theories. He is open minded for the possibilities but all that he is encouraging is to not automatically assume things like how people assumed a rock on Mars with a face is life.Carl Sagan had also contributed to the work of detecting extraterrestrial lives through technology and evidence like many other great scientists.
@reoreason your a troll. spin your wheels in google searchs to appear like you have a clue. save us and just go private message. before you look more retarded with your next reply. read the details and check out this vid - youtubeDOTcom/watch?v=LJYLT9TbRew
@ebrobaru haha right. fag huh? haha thanks for reaffirming my point. spin your wheels in google searchs to appear like you have a clue. save us and just go private message. before you look more retarded with your next reply. read the details and check out this vid - youtubeDOTcom/watch?v=LJYLT9TbRew
@ebrobaru yeah your right maybe i want to have sex with you ebrobaru, good call. lets keep this going id love to mop the floor with your face but this is my last comment, i dont fill video comment boxes with bullshit, peace ya fuckin monkey
@PaintSlinger99 Really, it´s socially accepted now to come out of the closet. I hope that this is really your last comment. You are wasting valuable seconds of my life
No you have my word also it happened to my wife and i in 2004,very similar to the Hills.Small round circles appeare on the windscreen, of our car the ufo was spinning and hovered several ft over the roof of our car,it followed us for 4-5 miles. The air around the car went black when the circles appeared and a light came onto the car bonnet. The circles looked like they had glistening dots inside.I reported it to Julie Monk at the MOD guess what they have ignored /covered it up.
@ebrobaru .Proof from my partner who was with me.Proof of my family who i told the next morning, and my friends who`s house i had just left who told the local police.Proof from a science group who have documented it.Listen everyone is debating here on Youtube but we all know whats` happening sadly the general public don`t.The ufo phenomenon is a very real happening .
@reoreason Ok, thanks for answering. However what you just describes is not proof, just your accounts to other people. Anyway, I hope that it gets better for you. And let´s see if anything tangible comes out of this investigation
@ebrobaru. Can i ask why do YOU think i have no proof ? What happened to us was complex ,this UFO did not just appear, we saw it and that was that. Why do YOU think there was something SPINNING above the roof of our car.Why do you think there was something spinning above the Hill`s car?Why do you think that i repeatedly told my wife to stop the car so i could get out? What do you think would have appeared on a camera if i had of took a photo.Do you believe we were in a normal state of mind?
@reoreason Because I asked you and your response amounted to no. I am not doubting your story. I am just saying that unfortunately you don´t have any evidence to support it. Why do you think that you were prevented to get any? Prevented by whom?
@ebrobaru .Because we had a video camera on a moblie phone in the car and i refused to use it.What happens is your sense of awareness gets distorted, you become confused, numb but also calm, and you think at the time that your reactions are normal. It was only sometime later that i realised my reactions were not normal but completely out of character.I think ther is some kind of magnetic field but that is just speculating. If you go to MOD web site you can demand a disclosure of information.
@ebrobaru 5The MOD will say that a possible E.M field makes a person Hallucinate,it dosent but it COULD make one react in the way to suite a NO evidence situation, seems too much of a coincidence.
@ebrobaru No No.I am trying to explain to you that a: Your reactions are manipulated.b:Vapourous toroidal rings are used /manipulated from above low level cloud so whatever is controllling these vortices cannot be seen.A photo of this phenomenon would never ever prove anything it would look as light, vapour and aura.We are dealing with something extremely complex it was soooo obvious. This is why there is no concrete evidence. But saying that there was a yellow powder on the car bonnet.
@ebrobaru But guess what? I carwashed it away..now to do see what is happening.They/it/whatever its all about does not let you get any evidence, its that serious and unbelievable.
@ebrobaru numb with shock. What i meant with the senses is that you think your reactions are normal as it happens, but when you look back they were obviously not.I did`nt mean from a visual aspect.i.e it seemed quite normal at the time not to video it.It seemed normal to want to stop the car.It seemed normal to be although confused, calm. The blackness around the car seemed normal too. This is how i can tell that most UFO videos are fake, not because of what they are videoing but..
@ebrobaru ,,but because of their reactions. When i say numb i do not mean numb as in unaware of what was happening. The UFO wanted us to see it it was very determined about that but at the same time others things happening including our reactions were not right. Anyway that is all i can say on Youtube,
@ebrobaru .We saw The thick cloud/mist along the ground,We saw the disk shape ring follow our car for 4-5 miles.I saw it on the roof of the car when i put my head out of the car window[25ft]above the car spinng and hovering but moving with the same speed as our car.At this point it had lignts all around the outside. We saw the light come onto our car bonnett. We saw small round circles suddenly appear on the windscreen. It blocked our our view.
@ebrobaru We saw it hide from a approaching car.We saw it flying next to the car over the ajacent field ,i saw it slowly ascend up into the clouds. When it was far away its just looked like lights ,but next to the car the ufo made the air luminate green oval patches spinning around the outside. The disk/ring was smooth solid looking but not solid mass it was like a solid vapourous material moving like a mechanical wheel.
@ebrobaru Confused? the UFO phenomenon is not purely physical. This was not confined to our known laws of physics....Solid the way it moved but not solid, light appearing from knowhere.Circles appearing to try to get us to stop the car.One very last thing. After it appeared on the windscreen and was above the ajacent field,it AGAIN came over the car ,it had not done what it was supposed to do,this is another one of those things we realised later
@ebrobaru Do you think it was normal that i took my car the carwash the very next morning?Do you think it is normal for the air to turn black Electrical equipment to malfunction in my friends house and his neighbours house at the time? And a seperate reported sighting from a nearby village of a triangle ufo hovering in the clouds, this was in the local newspaper.Aeperate reported sighting of something spinning above another couples car in N.Wales.?
@ebrobaru I am not concerned about this six years on,in fact i have never felt fear over this even when it was happening neither did my wife. But it is frustrating when people ask for evidence because in our particular case we were quite clearly prevented from getting any.
@ebrobaru I dont know what it was,how it appeared, why WE saw it.whether we were in any danger etc etc but all i can say is that it was surely after us,and it was very very determined to get us both out of the car. This is the truth.I have offered to take a lie detector test everything.I have passed all the basic info on to all the reseachers and science groups.
@ebrobaru Do not believe anyone no matter who they are on video`s posted on youtube that the UFO phenomenon are metallic shiny disks and everything is of solid mass. The disks are shiny solid vapour that move as if its of solid mass,THE TOROIDS RINGS ARE LIKE LITTLE PORTALS something appears from nowhere,it could have been manipulated somehow.Everything is much much darker than normal.
@STORMCAT06 are you stupid?? LOOK AT THE FARSIDE OF THE MOON!!! THERES UFO AND ALIENS CRAWLING ALL OVER THE BRIDGE THERES ALSO BRIDGES GOING THOUGH CRATORSS
@STORMCAT06 Haha, you aren't sure they exist, but if they do you'd like to play poker w/ them. Ask even ONE of the people who have been abducted as accepted by the general ufo community, if they'd like to be abducted again, and you will get a resounding NO. I thought kidnapping was a bad thing --- NO? It's ok in your book then to grab people, take them on a strange craft and poke and prod? You are an odd one, but, this is Youtube of course. Declare war? Who could even foster the thought?
@STORMCAT06 Thousands of people then have lied straight out, just so they could gain negative attention. Hard evidence? You do realize I hope that alien technology is so fara advanced above ours that we must seem like cavemen to them. I don't like aliens --- I think they are from an evil source, just my opinion --- but I am certain they exist. Even stranger t han aliens is that they are people who still doubt their existence.
Anyone wanting Hard Evidence of Abductions will be left empty handed until it happens to them. Then it be about believing, and good luck getting anyone to believe you,,,,don't wast your time,,just learn and grow..peace and Health to All.
alien abductions are bullshit. Anybody that believes these people is just naive. Seriously... there is no hard evidence. In every case it is just word of mouth
note "abduction" is parenthesis?I didnt tell the whole story here,,just the common threads Im not saying theses experiences are from beyond the planet, Im just saying there are common threads in theses events and not everyone experiencing them are going public. What proof do I have from my "abduction" experience? None, except the knowledge that I experienced it, and since I have no need to prove anything to anyone, thats plenty for me. Nones knows about something unless they have experienced it.
@ebrobaru "I have no need to prove anything to anyone." Truth be told, I don't believe it really is Aliens from off planet doing the "abductions" I feel the experience is coming from our inner space..my point is that wither its fact or fiction or just an elaborate dream, it still will change you inside and out and wake you up to the bigger picture. HAs a piece of fiction not ever changed your life. Its time to let go of the duality of fact and fiction and simply live and learn. Peace to you.
@ebrobaru Prove to me what water taste like....or if I where to prove to you what water taste like,,I would have to give you glass of water to taste..thus if you need proof of an "abduction" experience you'll have to have one yourself,,then you would have no proof,,and need no proof, because you would understand....
@3AtomicJabez8 You can ask a scientist to describe how water tastes like. Simple, it has no taste. No, you don´t have to experiment something in order to know what happens. Have you ever been on the bottom of the ocean? Or on the surface of the moon? Or inside a volcano? Of course not, but you know what would happen. We have a collective knowledge. It´s called SCIENCE
@ebrobaru you say water has no taste, fine, Ask a scientist to prove what an apple taste like, or chicken. I find it funny that a person so bent on having proof, would listen to science, which is based on 'theories" not facts. Remember at one point science had proven that the world was flat. We live in a world of abstract ideas,,what you call fact I call dogma. You personally have no proof that man has walked on the moon or what the Sun is made from, you only have the word of scientist,
@3AtomicJabez8 how is this any more proof that someone like me telling you Ive been abducted by a non-human..it's mearly what I see to be true based on what I know about the world,,and your precious science is no different. I pay close attention to science btw, and you can look at the future of science by studying the "Electric Universe Theory" and evidence that "Thought and Emotion Effects DNA" and many more new scientific ideas that will show just how off our modern science is,
@3AtomicJabez8 in a few generation, newer science will take the place of modern science as we expand our consciousness and become more aware of what going on,,but only God knows what's "True or False."
@3AtomicJabez8 You say you follow science, but then downplay the term "theory". If you had any working knowledge of science, you would understand the importance of the term. According to you then, the "theory of reproduction" must be false dogmatic thinking too? We have pictures, videos, and rock samples of the moon. It was the church that condemned anyone from trying to prove the earth was not flat. We have the word of scientists, and mountains of evidence to back up the mountains of tests.
@xBrianDwyerx I was making a point to the person coming at me like I wasn't telling the truth, so your taking my comments out of context ..but I'll play...Quantum Physics teaches us that when something is observed it changes. So to me science is no different than religions,,its based on observations and theories. So when I think of science as the study of the way things are, I realize it's really the study of how things behave when being observed. See Science has been co-opted by propagandists.
@3AtomicJabez8 Religion is nothing like science. Science is self correcting, based on facts and observations. With enough facts, evidence, tests, and observations, they then can formulate a theory. Religion believes they already have an answer, so no evidence is required. The rest of your statement does not make enough sense to fully comment on. I think you are trying to use a scientific theory to try to disprove the scientific method... I dont know where you came up with the propagandists...
My parents (Father Flew in Korean War with Buzz Aldren & Mom was a retired RN). In the 60's went to a town hall meeting in NH where Betty and Barney Hill were speaking about their abduction. Check out the found taped interviews with Betty Hill at massufoshow on YouTube . . very great info. and lot's of interesting accounts from Betty about why they are here etc etc. . .

Weird epistemological catch-22!)
nealezumm 7 months ago
@nealezumm no because they are claiming something, then it is up to them to prove, not the other way around. Burden of proof
ebrobaru 7 months ago
@ebrobaru Of course. But this doesn't quite address what's puzzling me here. What kind of evidence (& how much of it, & of what quality) wld be enough to make the belief in, say, the abduction phenomena reasonable? I never met (& am unlikely to ever meet) Plato, but I do believe such an individual existed. On what evidence? Books I've read, etc. Same type of evidence that is NOT enough to convince me of, etc. Why the asymmetry? Not all good enough evidence is of the hard physical type...
nealezumm 7 months ago
@nealezumm You have said it before, there thousands of claims of abductions all over the world. Yet, not a single shred of evidence on even a single case. Not a single piece of an unknown material, a single piece of foreign writing, a single piece of information that has been confirmed independently afterwards. Plato´s history is documented in different ways by different people. If you don´t believe in his existence, that´s your problem. Not a valid comparison.
ebrobaru 7 months ago
@ebrobaru If I had been abducted, how wld I go about proving it? My honesty wld hardly be enough!
Now, what when hundreds of people make similar claims? Dismiss all of them as crazy, liars, fantasy-prone? An option. So let's erect the following principle: A witness is only to be believed if his/her claim does not challenge what's commonsensically viewed as "reality." Not sure even an old-school positivist wld be willing to go that far! After all, even Science grows from challenging just that!
nealezumm 7 months ago
@nealezumm In the middle ages, claims were that angels took them. Now, in the midst of sci-fi movies and comics, it´s aliens. What would be in the 22nd century? No, a witness is believed if he can present enough credible evidence to backup his claims, EVEN if it goes against "common sense". Yes, science grows by challenging beliefs, but with evidence, not wishful thinking and good thoughts
ebrobaru 7 months ago
@ebrobaru Ok. Not enough "credible evidence" (whatever the heck that would be - an abduction isn't exactly a controlled experiment!) - just a whole bunch of people making quite incredible claims. What do we do with that? Dismiss all of them as mad, delusional, somehow completely mistaken about what they say happened to them...? Not a very satisfactory option either, is it? I don't know what to make of this issue, and remain unpleasantly puzzled.
nealezumm 7 months ago
@nealezumm A whole lot of people used to believe in witches and dragons. That didn´t make it more true.
ebrobaru 7 months ago
@ebrobaru You are quite right! One cannot prove that the abduction phenomena is "real" (events caused by "beings" of some unknown origin - not just a product of the abductees' minds) in the absence of "hard" evidence. However, there is enough "soft" evidence (oddly consistent testimonies from sane people) to make it an intriguing phenomena, even if one dismisses the alien hypothesis. (Heard about the MIT conference that took place a few years back on this? Check C.D.B. Bryan's Close Encounters!)
nealezumm 7 months ago
@nealezumm Well, everything is reduced to wild theories and hypothesis. I agree, we have to leave the possibilities open
ebrobaru 7 months ago
@ebrobaru Glad we can agree on that! (But why say "wild" as if it were a bad thing? Quantum mechanics is pretty "wild" from a common sense viewpoint - yet (so far) it's the best theory (& very well-confirmed experimentally I'm told - unlike some other things!) of the behavior of sub-atomic particles). Cld be Nature is so wild (when we ain't lookin') our best hope to tame (=understand) it shall always come short. Still I have much sympathy for Mr. Sagan's healthy skepticism, & therefore yours!
nealezumm 7 months ago
@nealezumm Yes, to our everyday view, quantum mechanics can be perceived as wild. But i has a solid base, like it or not. With abductions we are still on shaky ground.
ebrobaru 7 months ago
@ebrobaru Obviously.
nealezumm 7 months ago
@ebrobaru An afterthought: It might not be as simple as finding the right bit of compelling evidence (if it exists). Some Evangelical Christians still won't buy Darwinian evolution, not for a lack of evidence: It challenges their "weltbild." Evidence only speaks when one is willing to listen. (But I agree "hard" evidence of some kind wld help to get some scientific minds working on this instead of sincere but biased amateurs like Mr. B. Hopkins - whose methodology it seems leaves to be desired!)

what an arrogant jerk sagan comes off as in this video. i would have loved to challenge sagan on some "alleged event" in his life, force him to try to prove it really happened, and then tell him it hasn't been scientifically proven to me, so it must not have happened.
harrylook 9 months ago
@harrylook I think skepticism is a better word.

HNK222 8 months ago
@HNK222 No, pal. He completely rules out the possibility it happened. Because the Hills can't prove it. Just because something cannot be proven today does not mean it doesn't exist, or might not be proven in the future. His tone is decidedly arrogant.

Clearly, some unidentified lights are likely advanced craft of unknown origin.
nofooIn 9 months ago
@nofooIn but again, doesn't make them a spaceship. And noticed you said "reported", so you can't say "Clearly" to anything.
Archetype77 9 months ago
@Archetype77 It was REPORTED in a previously classified intelligence document, which can be found at Wikipedia under 1976_Tehran_UFO_incident.
Perhaps you believe the USAF is guilty of perpetrating a hoax? This was nothing that could be explained, and the only plausible conclusion was that it was some type of advanced craft, CLEARLY not man made.
nofooIn 9 months ago
@nofooIn Again, if what you have is "it was reported that they detected and saw an object that they didn't know what it was so...aliens." I can't jump on board. And that's not out of ignorance, it's out of reason. There are many natural phenomenon we don't have much account of, and there are many experimental aircraft tests (with mistakes) conducted by many different countries, which have been the source of many of these UFO stories over decades.
Archetype77 9 months ago
@Archetype77 The objects were not only observed and detected, they interacted with them. They behaved in a strategic manner (ruling out a natural phenomenon), and performed at a level beyond our capabilities. We have no proof of their origin, but we do know they were not man-made because we do not have the understanding of physics to achieve the performance that was observed.
nofooIn 9 months ago
@nofooIn "Ruling out natural phenomenon" Cause we understand everything about nature, clearly... You're exaggerating claims, it's no use arguing with someone who sees reasoning and acknowledgment of precedent (other examples that seemed unexplainable, but then were, and weren't aliens) as ignorance. I know you really want to believe aliens with those capabilities, would come here. or give the slightest care about us. You understand so little. It's cute :)
Archetype77 9 months ago
@Archetype77 Maybe you can site natural phenomena that behaves in a manner as I've illustrated. If another species has the capability to get here from light years away, we can expect them to have a far greater understanding of physics and display capabilities that seem fantastic. A few cases bear this out.
I doubt ET gives a hoot about us. I believe it is due diligence that motivates their study of our world.
nofooIn 9 months ago
Without much evidence of the origin of the object, a reasonable person assumes the latter is far more probable. But I'm sure that can justify you calling a genius a fool.

@Archetype77 We don't need to know the origin to determine that it isn't “one of ours”.
Sagan chose to ignore or remain ignorant of the facts. His legacy is that of a great communicator, unmatched by any in his field, but unfortunately he chose to preach a closed-minded approach to the UFO question that many have decided to adopt. Some say he did so to protect government funding of his projects, which seems a plausible explanation.

“The extraordinary claims are not supported by extraordinary evidence.” That's a catchy line, but it's irrelevant. There's plenty of evidence that shows we are being visited by ET, and it's in the form of expert testimony by commercial and military pilots along with corroborated radar data. All this statement does is to encourage us to turn a blind eye to the events that have happened in the recent past, and consequently keeps us from properly investigating what they are.
nofooIn 9 months ago
@nofooIn There's been plenty of beyond proper investigation. And nothing. Enjoy your confirmation bias though.

Clearly, this was an incorrect diagnosis, made because the psychologist refused to accept the possibility it was true.
nofooIn 9 months ago
“Remember, we only have their word...” Actually, their word was a description of their experience given under hypnosis, administered by a highly qualified doctor. They reported what happened as they saw it, and both accounts matched closely.
“Virtually all scientists are skeptical...” That's just Sagan's opinion; some scientists believe this was a real abduction case.
nofooIn 9 months ago
When you look at science fiction comics in the 1950s, such as by comic artists Basil Wolverton or George Evans, they all include fictional narrations of human and alien contact that resemble the Hill case and many other cases. It seems that people raised on fifties comic book fantasies are giving us the ufo testimonies.
lomertamahon1 10 months ago

Aside from one being set in the future and the other concerned with the future.

mrzack888 1 year ago
@mrzack888 If you want to talk about bad science, let's talk about Sagan's "Baloney Detection Kit". It was later refined a bit by Michael Shermer. It is a very useful list of logical fallacies that believers in UFOs and other pseudo-science fall into in their attempts to "prove" their theories. If you honestly care about the scientific method, you will eventually come to understand why extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
caseyspaos 1 year ago 2
@casey Why didn't Sagan use his list of logical fallacies on things he believes? Extraordinary claims deserve extraordinary evidence, so before we believe life spontaneously generated in a pool of slime, we need to actually see that happen..right? As far as UFOs, what about the testimony of thousands of credible eyewitnesses, including police, fighter jet & airline pilots etc. radar detection & sometimes lingering radiation at landing sites? More evidence for UFOS than the fabled "missing link"!
macolyis 10 months ago
@macolyis Two logical fallacies in your argument that no one has seen the moment when life first began; 1:An appeal to ignorance. Absence of evidence () is not evidence of absence. 2: An attack on existing claims. As for UFOs, Anecdotal evidence does not count in the scientific method. Nearly all UFO so-called 'evidence' is eyewitness testimony. Not acceptable as scientific evidence. Incidently, can you tell me where Sagan said he believes in spontaneous generation from a pool of slime?
caseyspaos 10 months ago
@casey, The fact is Sagan believed in MANY things that he accepted as facts, that are really no more than anecdotal JUST SO STORIES. He presupposed life MUST have came from non life, because he presupposed there cannot be a creator, based on his PREJUDICE. He fervently believed secular humanist MYTHS with no proof what so ever, because they fit his desired world view.
There has been more than enough evidence with the UFO phenomena to prove to an unbiased person something is definitely going on!
macolyis 10 months ago
@macolyis And you, I presume, believe in some kind of deity because it fits your desired world view. Most scientists (except the ID crowd whose presuppositions also fit their desired world view) "believe in" empirical models. But the difference between a scientist and theologian is that, in general, the scientist is happy to let go of his mistaken assumptions, if an improved model comes along. Deists tend to believe without empirical evidence. Stories are enough. Scientists are TRUE seekers.
caseyspaos 10 months ago
@casey No most atheist scientists DO NOT believe in empirical models, they believe in just so stories completely unsupported by the evidence! They just PRESUPPOSE Darwin's fairy tale to be true without a shred of evidence; & then happily go about twisting and perverting the facts to fit into Darwin's FANTASY. Creation attests to a CREATOR! Creation is PROOF of God! If you disagree, provide video footage of life spontaneously generating from non life! Show hard PROOF for the nonsense you believe!
macolyis 10 months ago
@macolyis
Contrary to science and to the spirit of seeking truth, religion says God made it, which is no explanation at all.
caseyspaos 10 months ago
@casey The goal of God hating blaspheming evolutionists like Sagan is to further their secular humanist RELIGIOUS agenda; by promoting through propaganda & misinformation the LIES of Darwinism, DESPITE the evidence NOT because of it! Atheist evolutionists freely admit the fossil record clearly CONTRADICTS Darwinism, as does DNA evidence as does many other things! The problem is there is no other "naturalistic explanation" that excludes God, so they will at any & all cost desperately cling to it!
macolyis 10 months ago
@macolyis

If you were to say your computer evolved from natural phenomena, I would say provide HARD EVIDENCE!
macolyis 10 months ago
@macolyis As Dawkins elegantly argues in The God Delusion (and elsewhere), there is a difference between designed things and things that appear to be designed. If you can recommend a good scientifically sound, peer-reviewed publication that supports ID (as opposed to the ravings of lunatics like Kent Hovind, I would be happy to read it. In the meantime I recommend The Greatest Show on Earth, Unweaving the Rainbow and The God Delusion, all by Richard Dawkins. Quite readable for the non-scientist.
caseyspaos 10 months ago
@casey I don't follow Hovind, but he's no more a "lunatic" than your buddy Dawkins! If you want to talk about frothing at the mouth ravings, just open a Hitchens or Dawkins book!
Dawkins & Hitchens spend entire paragraphs calling God names or blaming all the worlds problems on "theocrats"!
Why would I listen to secular propaganda & lies coming from those wicked God hating sons of Satan?
Because Dawkins says something does it make it true? If he told you your TV made itself would you believe him?
macolyis 10 months ago
@macolyis *Breathes deeply and counts to ten* Look...We listen to scientists because they help us understand how our PHYSICAL world works. Do not fear science. Natural selection (which is merely your co-called "micro-evolution" over a REALLY REALLY REALLY long period of time) explains the evolution of the body. The Bible explains the evolution of the spirit. Your task as a believer is to reconcile science and your faith. Closing your eyes and screaming "SATAN! SATAN!" is not going to help.
caseyspaos 10 months ago
@casey Natural selection DOES not explain the "evolution" of the body at ALL! Natural selection always results in LOSS of useful information! For a lizard to become a more advanced creature there would need to be a SOURCE for much new intelligent information, which random mutations can never provide! Dawkins & Hitchens have no answers, only secular humanist propaganda which is based in their imagination & not in fact! The evidence CONTRADICTS Darwins predictions on every level! Darwin was WRONG!
macolyis 10 months ago
@macolyis who says ????why is there a loss of information ??animals adapt to their environment,, the better equipped are better able to adapt ,,,which produces more advanced species... Darwin wasnt completely correct nor was he completely wrong .why do we find older reptilian fossils but no human fossils of the same age why are there distinct differences between human groups from various ages and environments...disproving evolution doesnt prove God!!!
mugwamp4 10 months ago

TheSpongion 1 year ago 2
There is so much evidence that we are being visited by alien (Alien, stranger, foreigner) beings from outside, or beyond earth. It's really quite amazing.
When millions across the planet see with their own eyes, and observe with their own reasoning minds what they see, we do not need priests, doctors, or presidents to tell us what is real or what is not real. They don't own the copyrights to reality.
rephaim23 1 year ago 3
There were radar reports of unknown objects in the vicinity of the Hills that night, as confirmed by Pease Air Force base, but Mr. Sagan only relates the facts that he chooses. Not science. And of course the skeptic might say, they were "weather balloons" that happened to be picked up on radar as the Hills happened to be having seen a UFO at that time...
I think the case is clear that something really did happen to Betty and Barney Hill.
rephaim23 1 year ago
@rephaim23 Lol. You base that on what? A vague suspicion?
dujl 11 months ago
@dujl
I base that on my own investigation into the accounts. I also have a personal bias towards the Hills alleged account since I too have seen an object of questionable origin hovering above my neighborhood. But that is my personal experience, and I do not expect anyone to believe in the possibility of such phenomena unless they too have experienced such as I have.
rephaim23 11 months ago
The former seems more plausible than the latter considering the vast universe you yourself point out capable of fostering more than one intelligent world. The latter would seem to suggest that thousands of other are doing the same thing, which in itself would be a momentous mystery of vast importance to the scientific community.
solarcross 1 year ago
. also, I would not believe, as you have suggested, that the flying object near the end of this video (an asteroid) was a flying saucer, because I am well aware that the literature supports that UFOs do not leave contrails or any type of smoke what-so-ever. And the hypnosis for them was inconclusive, that is Carl, that it might have been a very real occurrence, or it may have been unconsciously manufactured and shared by their minds.
solarcross 1 year ago
Carl, sorry to say, but just because someone may have mistakenly attributed Betty's star map to something else does not prove that their whole experience was prob. fake.
solarcross 1 year ago
@solarcross It doesn´t prove either that it was real. The "literature that supports" UFOs never provides any evidence at all. So, basically what you are saying, is that since there is not evidence of something, then it must be true?
ebrobaru 1 year ago
@ebrobaru The UFO literature contains much evidence for something happening, sometimes physical, but mostly cultural. If you look at all the world's religions, myths, stories, etc. there are detailed accounts stemming from these that contain information on other-worldy visits to humans from something not-quite human. This massive amount of cultural data is stunning and one may only take a cursory glance at it to understand that it's both rich and complex.
solarcross 1 year ago
@solarcross YEs it´s rich and complex, but there are myths. If you take them at face value and try to make them evidence, then that is a long long way. The un-debunked videos and photos are are just unexplained, if at all. Same with the foreign objects. They remain on the "I don´t know" pile. Unexplained, doesn´t mean alien.
ebrobaru 1 year ago
There are also numerous un-debunked videos and photographs as well as military eye-witness testimonies to such things as UFOs. There has even bee a recent spout of anomalies within the human body, being removed (implants), and subject to laboratory tests only to yield the results of a "foreign object".
solarcross 1 year ago
There have also been numerous physical marking left on the body after abduction takes place, but I usually reserve this for people who want to talk intelligently about the literature, because i see the "rationalistic" snug apathy from a mile away regarding these anomalies in consideration to those who have not read one single piece of classical UFO literature.
solarcross 1 year ago
@solarcross You reserve that information for people who" want to talk intelligently about the literature"? You mean to say, people who will "believe anything blindly and will support your cause no matter what" and will not question you at all

Anyone else think Carl Sagan kind of sound like a muppet?
solarcross 1 year ago

The circles looked like they had glistening dots inside.I reported it to Julie Monk at the MOD guess what they have ignored /covered it up.
reoreason 1 year ago
@reoreason Do you have any proof of what happened other that your own account?
ebrobaru 1 year ago
@ebrobaru .Proof from my partner who was with me.Proof of my family who i told the next morning, and my friends who`s house i had just left who told the local police.Proof from a science group who have documented it.Listen everyone is debating here on Youtube but we all know whats` happening sadly the general public don`t.The ufo phenomenon is a very real happening .
reoreason 1 year ago
@reoreason Ok, thanks for answering. However what you just describes is not proof, just your accounts to other people. Anyway, I hope that it gets better for you. And let´s see if anything tangible comes out of this investigation
ebrobaru 1 year ago
What do you think would have appeared on a camera if i had of took a photo.Do you believe we were in a normal state of mind?
reoreason 1 year ago
@reoreason Because I asked you and your response amounted to no. I am not doubting your story. I am just saying that unfortunately you don´t have any evidence to support it. Why do you think that you were prevented to get any? Prevented by whom?
ebrobaru 1 year ago
@ebrobaru .Because we had a video camera on a moblie phone in the car and i refused to use it.What happens is your sense of awareness gets distorted, you become confused, numb but also calm, and you think at the time that your reactions are normal. It was only sometime later that i realised my reactions were not normal but completely out of character.I think ther is some kind of magnetic field but that is just speculating. If you go to MOD web site you can demand a disclosure of information.
reoreason 1 year ago
@ebrobaru 5The MOD will say that a possible E.M field makes a person Hallucinate,it dosent but it COULD make one react in the way to suite a NO evidence situation, seems too much of a coincidence.
reoreason 1 year ago
@reoreason So, basically, what you are saying is that since there is no evidence at all, then that proves your case. Ok
ebrobaru 1 year ago
@ebrobaru No No.I am trying to explain to you that a: Your reactions are manipulated.b:Vapourous toroidal rings are used /manipulated from above low level cloud so whatever is controllling these vortices cannot be seen.A photo of this phenomenon would never ever prove anything it would look as light, vapour and aura.We are dealing with something extremely complex it was soooo obvious. This is why there is no concrete evidence. But saying that there was a yellow powder on the car bonnet.
reoreason 1 year ago
@ebrobaru But guess what? I carwashed it away..now to do see what is happening.They/it/whatever its all about does not let you get any evidence, its that serious and unbelievable.
reoreason 1 year ago
@reoreason You said that your sense of awareness is distorted somehow. That you become numb. So how do you know about these toroidal rings?
ebrobaru 1 year ago
@ebrobaru numb with shock. What i meant with the senses is that you think your reactions are normal as it happens, but when you look back they were obviously not.I did`nt mean from a visual aspect.i.e it seemed quite normal at the time not to video it.It seemed normal to want to stop the car.It seemed normal to be although confused, calm. The blackness around the car seemed normal too. This is how i can tell that most UFO videos are fake, not because of what they are videoing but..
reoreason 1 year ago
@ebrobaru ,,but because of their reactions. When i say numb i do not mean numb as in unaware of what was happening. The UFO wanted us to see it it was very determined about that but at the same time others things happening including our reactions were not right. Anyway that is all i can say on Youtube,
Regards.
reoreason 1 year ago
@reoreason Did you remember actually seeing a UFO? Or only lights?
ebrobaru 1 year ago
@ebrobaru .We saw The thick cloud/mist along the ground,We saw the disk shape ring follow our car for 4-5 miles.I saw it on the roof of the car when i put my head out of the car window[25ft]above the car spinng and hovering but moving with the same speed as our car.At this point it had lignts all around the outside. We saw the light come onto our car bonnett. We saw small round circles suddenly appear on the windscreen. It blocked our our view.
reoreason 1 year ago
@ebrobaru We saw it hide from a approaching car.We saw it flying next to the car over the ajacent field ,i saw it slowly ascend up into the clouds. When it was far away its just looked like lights ,but next to the car the ufo made the air luminate green oval patches spinning around the outside. The disk/ring was smooth solid looking but not solid mass it was like a solid vapourous material moving like a mechanical wheel.
reoreason 1 year ago
@ebrobaru Confused? the UFO phenomenon is not purely physical. This was not confined to our known laws of physics....Solid the way it moved but not solid, light appearing from knowhere.Circles appearing to try to get us to stop the car.One very last thing. After it appeared on the windscreen and was above the ajacent field,it AGAIN came over the car ,it had not done what it was supposed to do,this is another one of those things we realised later
reoreason 1 year ago
@reoreason ok. and then what happened?
ebrobaru 1 year ago
@ebrobaru Do you think it was normal that i took my car the carwash the very next morning?Do you think it is normal for the air to turn black Electrical equipment to malfunction in my friends house and his neighbours house at the time? And a seperate reported sighting from a nearby village of a triangle ufo hovering in the clouds, this was in the local newspaper.Aeperate reported sighting of something spinning above another couples car in N.Wales.?
reoreason 1 year ago
@ebrobaru I am not concerned about this six years on,in fact i have never felt fear over this even when it was happening neither did my wife. But it is frustrating when people ask for evidence because in our particular case we were quite clearly prevented from getting any.
reoreason 1 year ago
@ebrobaru I dont know what it was,how it appeared, why WE saw it.whether we were in any danger etc etc but all i can say is that it was surely after us,and it was very very determined to get us both out of the car. This is the truth.I have offered to take a lie detector test everything.I have passed all the basic info on to all the reseachers and science groups.
reoreason 1 year ago
@ebrobaru Do not believe anyone no matter who they are on video`s posted on youtube that the UFO phenomenon are metallic shiny disks and everything is of solid mass. The disks are shiny solid vapour that move as if its of solid mass,THE TOROIDS RINGS ARE LIKE LITTLE PORTALS something appears from nowhere,it could have been manipulated somehow.Everything is much much darker than normal.

P3313 1 year ago
note "abduction" is parenthesis?I didnt tell the whole story here,,just the common threads Im not saying theses experiences are from beyond the planet, Im just saying there are common threads in theses events and not everyone experiencing them are going public. What proof do I have from my "abduction" experience? None, except the knowledge that I experienced it, and since I have no need to prove anything to anyone, thats plenty for me. Nones knows about something unless they have experienced it.
3AtomicJabez8 1 year ago
@3AtomicJabez8 Well, then it just falls into the anechdotical events, which cannot be construed as proof
ebrobaru 1 year ago
@ebrobaru "I have no need to prove anything to anyone." Truth be told, I don't believe it really is Aliens from off planet doing the "abductions" I feel the experience is coming from our inner space..my point is that wither its fact or fiction or just an elaborate dream, it still will change you inside and out and wake you up to the bigger picture. HAs a piece of fiction not ever changed your life. Its time to let go of the duality of fact and fiction and simply live and learn. Peace to you.
3AtomicJabez8 1 year ago
@ebrobaru Prove to me what water taste like....or if I where to prove to you what water taste like,,I would have to give you glass of water to taste..thus if you need proof of an "abduction" experience you'll have to have one yourself,,then you would have no proof,,and need no proof, because you would understand....
3AtomicJabez8 1 year ago
@3AtomicJabez8 You can ask a scientist to describe how water tastes like. Simple, it has no taste. No, you don´t have to experiment something in order to know what happens. Have you ever been on the bottom of the ocean? Or on the surface of the moon? Or inside a volcano? Of course not, but you know what would happen. We have a collective knowledge. It´s called SCIENCE
ebrobaru 1 year ago
@ebrobaru you say water has no taste, fine, Ask a scientist to prove what an apple taste like, or chicken. I find it funny that a person so bent on having proof, would listen to science, which is based on 'theories" not facts. Remember at one point science had proven that the world was flat. We live in a world of abstract ideas,,what you call fact I call dogma. You personally have no proof that man has walked on the moon or what the Sun is made from, you only have the word of scientist,
3AtomicJabez8 1 year ago
@3AtomicJabez8 how is this any more proof that someone like me telling you Ive been abducted by a non-human..it's mearly what I see to be true based on what I know about the world,,and your precious science is no different. I pay close attention to science btw, and you can look at the future of science by studying the "Electric Universe Theory" and evidence that "Thought and Emotion Effects DNA" and many more new scientific ideas that will show just how off our modern science is,
3AtomicJabez8 1 year ago

@3AtomicJabez8 You say you follow science, but then downplay the term "theory". If you had any working knowledge of science, you would understand the importance of the term. According to you then, the "theory of reproduction" must be false dogmatic thinking too? We have pictures, videos, and rock samples of the moon. It was the church that condemned anyone from trying to prove the earth was not flat. We have the word of scientists, and mountains of evidence to back up the mountains of tests.
xBrianDwyerx 1 year ago
@xBrianDwyerx I was making a point to the person coming at me like I wasn't telling the truth, so your taking my comments out of context ..but I'll play...Quantum Physics teaches us that when something is observed it changes. So to me science is no different than religions,,its based on observations and theories. So when I think of science as the study of the way things are, I realize it's really the study of how things behave when being observed. See Science has been co-opted by propagandists.
3AtomicJabez8 1 year ago
@3AtomicJabez8 Religion is nothing like science. Science is self correcting, based on facts and observations. With enough facts, evidence, tests, and observations, they then can formulate a theory. Religion believes they already have an answer, so no evidence is required. The rest of your statement does not make enough sense to fully comment on. I think you are trying to use a scientific theory to try to disprove the scientific method... I dont know where you came up with the propagandists...
