THe character desing is original, and the characters have totally original personalities. The setting are unique, and the episodes are too. The is no sexism, or feminism, whihc appears in most shows I see, which is totally unoriginal and fail.

I can think of thousands of shows who aren't as good as this one. This is a good show. Though ofcourse, the animation is flash animation, which is overused nowadays. But it is taken from a character who was drawn that way. (on pencils and stuff) So this was the best choice.

no misery is so totally a banshee. banshees dont have to be scary. theyre one of my favorite beings. shes got the looks, the attitude, and most importantly, the singing. banshees are most likely awake when their shreak kills but the sleep-singing is merely a coincedental bit that was invented for the episode and is unique to Misery.
