I have a 1995 impreza coupe fully built cosworth motor pushing 400 awhp on 8 psi check out my vids. Has a cob tuner with 5 stages tuned in Chicago by pandlemotorsports. All 2006 wrx diffs and axels. Dogcut tranny with ppg gearbox let me know what y'all think.

I have been lucky to own both 05 STi and an 06 evo 9 . To be honest with you i miss the Sti . the evo transmission was crap. It slipped all the time. With hard lunches from a dead stop . The STi transmission never flinched when launch hard. The rumble sound of the boxer can and never will be match by and evo motor.

Com todo respeito, subaru tem mais torque no motor por ser um motor maior, EVO e apenas 2.0, e pelo q eu vi ele parecer ser todo stock... coloca apenas bolt on, exhaust system, intake system, cams, fuel pump e 720cc fuel injetors e da uma tunada no brinquedo e ai vamos ver qual sai melhor... eu tenho um EVO 8 e ele ta com 395whp on 91pump com 24 psi na turbina original 16g...

outra reclamacao: como tem nego burro q pensa q halltech, unichip, etc acaba com toda a tecnologia de uma injecao importada. Isso eh ignorancia, qualquer carro com modificacao de filtro e/ou escape (sendo importado ou nacional) precisa de gerenciamento. Modificacoes deste tipo geram diferentes fluxos de ar no motor que por sua vez causam erros de leitura dos sensores da injecao original. Carros preparados SEMPRE precisam de novos mapas pra injecao. O que diferencia eh como voce prepara os mapas.

I love the old school imprezza. Especially the 22Bsti. Not many of those around. I think they made only 300 of them. They still hold their value in Japan at around 30,000 dollars. I'll take the older Imprezza over the new and I'd take the Evo 5 and 6 over the rest.

@trdsupraheaven that impreza is lighter and has a taller gear box similar to that of an evo 8/9 rs and if you notice he has what looks like a front mount on that impreza.

I have walked on many evo8's and 9's when my swap gc coupe was stock with a tune an exhaust so this is believable , if it would be a newer sti ver 8 or above that evo prob would have won because of gearing and weight ratio over the sti.
