nazario had avenged a loss to rosario to win this title, so he wasn't a bum. just goes to show you what makes pernell one of the best ever. the ability to win out of character. when a slickster becomes a puncher, or a brawler can outboxz tyou, that is impressive. ali, leonard, and pernell did that. even other greats like roy jones and jc chavez never won out of character. trinidad never did either.

This was a joke. Nazario was lucky to beat Edwin Rosario, or we would have had Chapo-Sweet Pea Hall of Fame matchup. Too bad it never happened.
