I dont know what the problem is, probly an error that is related to an update. I bought this game for $2. Great game but if I were you, ill call the custumer service
I had to buy a 2nd copy. Also try and see if it somehow warped. If it looks kind of wavy under a lamp. This might be letting the wii run it without detecting any error but when it comes to a part where it needs to read what comes next it fails. Wish you good luck with that, since this is a great game and should be enjoyed by everyone...even Dennis Dyack and Hayter

Back on topic I had a very similar situation once with the Xbox. I don't remember well if it was one of the KOTORs or Jade Empire but I left it in storage and when I went to play it would load just fine w/o any textures. I live in a humid place and apparently a very thin layer of fungus was not letting the txt load. Out of 3 Xboxes none of them was able to detect the error.
