  • @Armahghetto this is the original version that got leaked so when the album drop the one wit the hook is wat you heard

  • Yo this song is sooo fuckin dope he shouldnt of let jay thirsty ass jump on here...i aint gon lie though lupe always say at least one or two things

I completely dont understand like the japanese flag shit i had no clue what he meant other than that this is so ill listen to that hunger he spittin wit...

  • @ghettogov616 "i dont need a japanese flag, vash the stampede of hiphop straight from the hip" he was making an anime reference to the anime trigun, the main character was vash the stampede. vash was the most notorious outlaw known for his marksmanship and killing EVERYONE wherever he goes. basically, lupe sayin hes killing everyone else in hiphop, and "off the hip" without even tryin.

  • @TekNiquePro also, the japanese flag is a red dot, like a dot from a scope

  • never knew about this version. sick!

  • In Fucking Credible

  • everyone search that kid sleepy conscious and his new track "No Apologies" that shit hot as hell his new mixtape insomnia is gonna be crazy ill!!!

  • what mixtape is this from

  • Lu's flow is ridiculous

  • i reckon this is better than pressure, pressure still goes hard tho

  • lupe for prez.

  • fresher than pressure

  • THIS IS THE ORIGINAL VERSION!!! So many tracks were leaked off food and liquor that he had to go back and practically make a whole new album. The pressure track was one of those tracks he had to change. THERE ARE 2 FOOD AND LIQUOR ALBUMS!!!

  • pressure. original version. off da exam mixtape. get your facts straight.

  • I've listened to this a million times already. It's the 1,000,001st time and i still said "Damn."

  • WHAT IS THIS SONG CALLEDD???

  • @MotherBetch um i think the song is in the title (common sense dude get some)

  • @DayCallMeQuad and @MotherBetch

    its actually not called that

its called pressure off of food and liquor

  • @dannytheodros this is an earlier version of 'pressure'. if you notice lupe's verse is completely different on this track. also, jay-z is featured on 'pressure'.

  • i dont know who produces his stuff but the beat is fucking gold

  • egg rice and noodle soups!!!!!!!!

  • Damn Lupe....Leave this beat alone, you've murdered it (alongside Jay) once already....I feel bad for it

  • Never heard anyone murder their own song

  • we need more cats like lupe than waka

  • @lousmooth Too bad theres only one Lupe. This guy is very unique and hes one of the best ever (i think hes the best emcee ever)

  • does anyone have the download for this?

  • @julchu0 if u google "video to mp3" and click on first result u'll b taken to simple website where you copy/paste web url into text box and it converts utube and other videos to mp3 files for itunes

  • @dannytheodros Thanks bro

  • lu mighta outdone himself. this is better than the album version. only lupe can outdo himself on the same beat.

  • @ImHugeInJapan93 HE IS A PROBLEM..

  • Anyone know what mixtape this is off of?

  • @Gforcexd its off food and liqour

  • @stevendiplomat21 Cool, yeah I found it on the Food and Liquor Advance leak

  • Oh maaaan.. this beat? it's THE thing, I'm telling you!

  • lupe the figurative language KING

  • <<; One person was masturbating so hard to the lyrics, that they coincidently clicked dislike. Its fine, Lupe forgives you.

  • @TaurianFate lmao

  • very nice

  • Murders the heck out of Pressure

  • anyone know where i can find the instrumental fucking gorgeous

  • thank K West for getting lupe fiasco started

  • @jtcinc Jay-Z?

  • @jtcinc More like Kanye should be thanking Lupe for giving hip-hop a breath of fresh air, dudes so ill he would have rose to the top whether or not Kanye helped him, West deserves no credit, it all belongs to the goodness that Lupe emits in his verses

  • @jtcinc i thank no one but lupe for lupe. whether nike or adidas signed michael jordan would not have mattered; he would still have been michael jordan. whether kanye or anyone else signed lupe doesn't matter; he would still have been hip hop's messiah. the new God's Son...the best thing to happen to hip hop since Nasir.

  • lupe was aggressive on this track.

  • Lupe is fuckin nasty! No one want beef with Lupe.. could you imagine it!? Lyrical homocide.

  • But it wasn't easy to crack it... we wasn't fly... had to get it off the ground pedallin' E.T was in the basket... now it's sick 1st n 5th on the come'up like the last bullet in the clip - CLICK! A few didn't survive, it triggered somethin' inside it gave me power got a GRIP.... like the floor of the shower now i HIT anything i set my sights on with no lights on.... silencers my 5th bleed the 5th shhhhhh! Anyone who doesn't like lupe lyrically just cant understand his wordplay. Simple

  • @rjm6 I did get the cip part

  • @rjm6 my 5th pleads the 5th * lol silence yo

  • the more i hear from lupe, the more i like him

  • which mixtape is this? is it one of the Fahrenheit 1/15?

  • @airballer95 it's on the Food and Liquor Advance (Leak)

  • That little guitar rift thing is in the opener to Vash the Stampede, one of the best animes.

    I fucking love Lupe

  • I thought this song was called Pressure

  • @JayStylez773 same beat different lyrics this was made before pressure

  • my favorite lines from this don't know if im getting it right but

"I don't need a japanese flag, vash the stampede of hip hop straight from the hip pop, no matter how much the ememies bolsters, im a hold up down like holster right up on my shoulder"

  • Back in the day Lupe made Gangta shit

talkin bout hustlin and shootin niggas

  • no, it's called Trials and Tribulations, and it's off one of his mixtapes. The beat was then later used for his song Pressure with jay-z.

  • this is the original song that was on the leaked album the beat was then used in the pressure song for the album release

  • Im not feeling this beat for these lyrics but still dope

  • in the megatron line wtf is an eshelon am i the only1 that dont know

  • ECHELON corporation is the world leader in networking everday devices

  • @STFDxFinalFiasco probably

  • This beat is DOPE, how could you not feel this?!

  • I like the beat but not with this song. The lyrics are great and the beast is too but not together IMO

  • Would anyone tell me what mixtape this is from?

  • i think its on the trials and tribulations mixtape, im really not sure im jus sayin that cuz they have the same name

  • is this off food and liquour?

  • @JamKeepingItReal: It was on the original F&L which got leaked, so they redid it as Pressure.

  • foreal this beat is ill

  • Great Song!

  • lupe is amazing srry for saying the obvious

  • Is this an original beat? Fuckin' sweet, and of course Lupe kills it =)

  • May this beat REST IN PEACE!

  • AAMEEENN to thaat

  • Dope man damn Lupe is ill! He's Muslim I am also I see his actual name is written like Arabic.

  • margin so far to the left that i end up writin on my desk... WHATTTTT nigga is crazy

  • OMG HE says i pushed the margin so far to the left that i end up writing on my desk..................simple but no one else could think of that lupe izz DA MAN

  • goddamn yo, you ain't lyin'

    he's a problem!

    a lung fulla SARS... goddamn.

  • I don't think I'm trippin but I thought there was a hook to this...

  • i had to turn to guns like megatron' simple line but hot as hell

  • "But it wasn't easy to crack it, we wasn't fly. Had to get it off the ground peddlin', ET was in the basket."

    Holy crap

  • Lupe to me was at his illest in 06. You can disagree if you want but it's no denying that.

  • hes still the illest wtf?

  • He didn't say he wasn't the illest, he said he was the best in 2006..which is true. His mixtapes, his old food and liquor is when he was on top of his game, pure lyrical madness. F&L and The Cool are top albums too but just can't stand up to some of his older tracks..failure, all of his freestyles, twilight zone, lupe the killa, even trials and tribulations.

  • Do you still think he's not as ill as he was after hearing Enemy of The State?

  • EOTS was good but is nothing compared to the Fahrenheits..it was a teaser mixtape. Lupe really didn't get any recognition until The Cool, and from that you get a bunch of Lupe stans who think Superstar and Go Baby are his best tracks and love him because he doesn't make gangsta tracks. They fail to realize that just because someone is rapping about hustling doesn't mean they suck, Lupe was a lyrical FIEND no matter what the subject. He had more soul and more deeper tracks back in the day.

  • And no hate to his new stuff, I support Lasers COMPLETELY...It's just his older stuff that will always be my favorite. Like Dollas said you can disagree all you want you just can't deny skill.

  • Lupe Touché (uh-huh)

  • Lupe goes so hard in this one. I've never heard him spit so aggressively. Not to mention some of his best lines. This shits on Pressure.

"a mind full of poison, a mouth full of flu and a lung full of SARs! "

"And at the same time I was pushing the margin so far to the left that I ended up writing on my desk"

The opening 4 bars give me chills every time I hear em.

  • What's Lupe's best album.... I Already have the coolest, had it since release

  • i say The Cool is his best, but check out food & liquor, that one was great too

  • Food and Liquor is better than The Cool by far, but he only has two albums. Download Fahrenheit 1/15 Part 1 / 2 / 3.

  • His lyrics became more deep and complex in The Cool while Food and Liquor was more understandable on the first listen.

  • I think Food and Liquor had much more depth than The Cool, and through depth complexity. While The Cool boasts with Dumb it Down, The Coolest, and Streets on Fire, most of the other tracks are pretty straightforward. F&L compares with the entirely metaphorical track Daydreamin, heavy lyrics in Hurt Me Soul and The Emperor's Soundtrack, and then depth through storytelling in Kick Push pt. 2, The Cool, and Sunshine. F&L is a more memorable album over time to me, even though both are top quality.

  • @nyrisj it was different..people said food and liqour went over peoples heads

  • The Cool is a concept album. If you can find an artist that can tell a story like lupe then that point would be valid

  • That's partly true..The Cool is a really loose concept album as there are a lot of tracks that do not take part of the MYH storyline (Paris Tokyo, Superstar, Fighters, Go baby, etc). F&L can be considered a loose concept album as well as it holds roots to the initial storyline (The Game / Streets in Real Recognize Real, MYH as a kid in He Say She Say, and MYH reborn in The Cool). There both good.

And Slick Rick is arguably the best story teller of all time, even though Lupe is still top 5 to me

  • i thought this was called "Pressure"

  • That's the album version, this one has different lyrics and no Jay-Z. It was going to be on the original food and liquor.

  • No i think it's better than "Pressure".

  • I agree. it's close, but i think lupe's wordplay is a little better in trials and tribulations.

a mind full of poison, a mouth full of flu and a lung full of SARs!

goes hard. jay and lupe still killed pressure though.

  • This is much better than Pressure.

I think Pressure was one of the weaker tracks off of F&L and Jay-Z was disappointing on it considering he usually is great.

I prefer this one just because of a few lines I guess...

"They won't follow if ya points is hollow"

I like the double meaning in that line...

  • I like both of em equally.

Little Big in the waist, 2pac-is in the back, Call em Lu-Vis, Ogs covered in blue dye.....

  • Holy crap, I had no idea that that line had a double meaning. XD

  • Me too.. idk what happened...

  • What mixtape is this from?

  • Lupe> the world...lupe for president

  • u guys are stupid. pressure was real. it wasent his best work but it was real. this go hard 2.

  • this is actually better that pressure in my opinion lupe is sick

  • Trials And Tribulations >>>>>> Pressure

    pressure is fucked up.

  • Lupe got fuckin scared when Jay-Z wanted in on this track. That's why he switched all this shit up in Pressure, lol.

Look at what he says here at 1:15 and 1:33

And then think about Jay's first line in Pressure. :-)

Pressure's second verse is garbage. He should stuck with this. He wouldn't had got murdered like he did if he used this.

Pressure first verse hot too. It wins with creativity, but he shoulda not got intimidated. He shoulda let jigga do his thing.

  • bruv ur so right man.

  • if u think pressure's 2nd verse was garbage u need to listen to dat again lol. First off he did this wayyy before da album version. Jay didnt scare lupe, lupe's verse was went harder den jay's even tho it was fire. Take a close listen to da second verse bro

  • You mean THESE verses went harder. Pressure's first verse went just as hard as Jay's. Dat second verse gotta get cut though. I know this came out way before the album, but did you forget that Jay exec. produced said album?? lol Do ya research and put 2 and 2 together. :-)

  • first off pressure's first verse was harder then jays no question. These verses from trials n tribulations are harder then lupe's second verse but not by much. For u to be sayin that lupe's second verse is garbage on pressure doesnt make u seem to bright. Take a listen again. I kno jay exec. produced food and liquor but that has nothing to do with the verses lol. I kno almost all lupes track by heart, trust me when i say i've DONE my research.

  • now ima die hard lupe fan too but jay is also one of my favorite rappers so this is a touchy subject for me so im gonna say forget about both of these and move on to failure or the champ is here don't loose any sleep over this even though they both are good lupe has plenty of better songs and i KNOW you know that

  • w/e i agree with ya dat he has better verses. Also jay in my top 5 dont get me wrong he amazing. Failure is a deadly song some ill metaphors dat not everyone catches right away.

  • The stones in the pocket'll drag you down to Davy Jones locker

Beware if you wanna Roc the Knickerbocker

Other nigga from the block what, they was sellin O's

like Wheel of Fortune, of imported cocaine

just to feel important, it was +Do or Die+

They was tired of bein "Po' Pimps," now for sure

That was just a product of my common sense

I guess, I was just guessin like the consonants

Momma said beware of what the devil do

Tell 'em that your soul's not for sale like the W's

  • Jay's verse was hard too

I make niggaz murals, then escape the bureau's

investigation, out in Europe on vacation

I'm back for these puppies(rappers) with the pound(Like the gun) boy

(Blaow) Here's a round boy (blaow blaow) down boy

Sound boy, you don't wanna soundclash loud noise

leave niggaz paranoid if not paralyzed

Which means you can't walk in my shoes

Too much green you can't talk in my hue

  • for sure jays verse was hard, had me sayin dis dude neva gunna stop. But everyone has to agree with me that lupe sonned Jay on this verse. If u take in both verses there so many metaphor that fly ova ppls head

  • Too much green you can't talk in my hue

is easily one of the most clever lines in recent mermory, maybe ever.

  • what does it mean ?

  • he has too much money, money is green, that you can't talk in his hue, color. As if money was a language, you couldn't speak to him in it, because you couldn't fathom living a life with that much wealth and success. Materialistic I know, but clever nonetheless.:]

  • who cares what verse is "harder"...his lyrics are highly intelligent...no rapper can touch lupe on the cleverness of his word play...ya maybe some rappers are "harder"...but lupes lyrics makes a hard rapper look like an infant

  • I agree with most of what you said. You should know though that Eminem and DRE work from 2 different places. DRE is a producer, not an MC. Eminem is an MC, not a producer. Yea, they both dip their feet in the other one's profession. DRE MCs sometimes and Eminem produces sometimes, but that's as far is it goes. You can't really say Dre is above Em.

  • IYO.

  • I hope you realize that eminem writes a lot of Dre's rhymes. And I don't know why wayne was even in the discussion.

  • yes that persons outta his mind to think lupes second verse wasnt ne thing special...i dnt think he een listened...that whole second verse was wheel of fourtune themed while he was talkin about something totally different from wheel of fortune...and the (shh) part at the end was the shhh...haha

  • yes sumone understands wha i was sayin lol respect yo

  • what the hell does the part at 115 and 133 have to do with jays first line...his first line is so the pen is mighty than the sword my lord...what does coup de gras have to do with a pen...coup de gras means like a finishing blow...and are u serious?...i think ur jsut a lil slow...a lil too slow to understand lupe...so get wiser listen to the second verse and then tell me what u think.

  • anybpdy know about a song lupe does about things that people go through using the technology we have today in his rhymes...bcuz a friend recommended it to me but i forgot it now

  • it might be what it do by lupe

  • yea..thnx man

  • nah i think he means the intrumental aka it never lies

  • if u where answering "KingOfDaCones" question, i was finking the extact same thing as u, lol

  • Trialz & Tribulationz = T&T = TNT..ya get it

  • Reading into it too much

  • windmillingman, jus shullup

its not reading into it too much because, Lupe is the type of rapper who would go deep, as far as naming his song wit a double meaning or message.

Thanks to DahrChe 4 pointin dat out :D

  • living in this world we're strugling, may our Lord forgive us for our sins!

  • huh?? man peace out with that junk yo. i feel u but thats so random

  • Lupe definition of Artist

  • definition of rap!

  • fucking nice song !!!

  • where can i get this

  • the advance of food & liquor

  • Dam dis song is right.

  • peeeeuuuuuuuu lupe just took a two girls and one cup shit on this beat, goddamn!!!! chicago what down

  • Nahh pressure is the remix with Jay-z. This is the original version by Lupe called Trials and Tribulations.

  • um this is pressure

  • this is the original. he made a new one with jay z but with the same beat...pay attention !!

  • he's right this is pressure...we lupe fans so we know this shit

  • Trials and Tribulations was released *before* pressure. Pressure was really a last min thing, in terms of Food and Liquor - Jay-Z asked to jump on the album, Lupe talks about it in an interview.

  • Iike that

  • That little guitar riff is what I love most about this song when including the complex lyrics, and the bangin' ass beats.

  • Pressure!!! Yeah!!!

  • Lup-EMPEROR

  • emperor lu ! bring it back !!

  • l u p number one,,,, that dude
