  • Omg I think it'd be awesome to be called Ariel! Thank you for this insight, I am thinking about dying my hair red.

  • @FutureWisdom Good luck with the hair, if you decide to do it!

  • oh boy im glad i found your videos today...you are sooo funny

  • @lukki7ster thanks!

  • i love your personality:)

  • @ReneAndChel Heh, thanks!

  • I like how you addressed the downside of having red hair.most people don't know how hard it is to maintain. I have been having different shades of red hair for 3 years now. It's such a pain but I love red hair lol.

  • @xiirosary It IS a pain! Like none other! But we do it anyways :)

  • hi can you tell me about garnier hair colours, if you know about them? i have naturally black hair and i'm planning to try the new garnier vibrant red hair color. there is also a fiery red available. please suggest a good colour for naturally black hair.

  • @amitha88smpth The box ones? I haven't used many of them. I use the burgundy sometimes - it comes out really dark, but I like it. I've never tried the bright reds though, sorry :(

  • @amitha88smpth I use Ion Color Brilliance in Medium Intense Red Blonde on my dark hair and I've had good results.

  • Hey if u get a depoisting shampoo u won't have to go without washing yr hair so much,Trus me these shampoos work.U can get them online or at a Salon.

  • @Chirsty76 I used to use riveting reds color depositing shampoo. It's absolutely better than regular shampoo, but depending on the color of your hair, it will definitely still fade. I used them exclusively for a long time, but they don't prevent hair from fading entirely.

  • They sell them at Sally's Beauty to.remeber i fu trying to just add color.Get only a 10 devloper or a 20 at the most.Any higher will start to lighten teh hair.

  • @Chirsty76 Yep, that's where I've always gotten my shampoo. You don't need to add developer to shampoo though, but even 10 and 20 vol developer has the potential to lighten hair a bit when used with permanent dye.

  • @scubascissors sorry I meant to say add only 10 devloper to the hair color u want to make it red,not to the shamppo, lol! Sorry!

  • You should of included that red hair is the worst color to have in your hair when you wanna dye it a different color. I'm going through that right now >.<

  • @noodlesmurfJB What color are you trying to go to? I've gone from red to black and red to brown with not too much trouble.

  • @scubascissors I did the Loreal Hicolor Hilites in Red. Being dumb, i left it on for 50 mins and it came out bright fushia red. It didnt go with my skin color. So a week later i dyed it with Ion Color Brilliance in Medium Ash Brown and it came out a purplely red color(I wanted it to be brown). 2 months later, its STILL red but instead of the purple undertone, its more orange now and the color still even comes out in the shower! Now i want it brownish black but i don't know what i should use? :/

  • @noodlesmurfJB Huh. Try shampooing it all out and then dyeing over it. Whenever I've changed from red to something else, I make sure it's all completely faded out and rinses clean when I use shampoo (regular shampoo, not colorsafe shampoo)

  • @noodlesmurfJB try using a claifying shampoo. That helps remove color to.If u have e Sally's u could get Colorfix. It does turn teh hair orange, but that's supose to happen though. Then it's ready to color/I used it on myself to remove black hair color & now I'm a redhead.I went blonde last Wed.,but realized I look way better with red hair,so I'm back red.I own a Salon,so that's why I changed it without much damage. Also get a protein color filler to when u color yr hair. They keep the color even.

  • omg i just thought about this....so do u go swimming then? now i'm kinda worried to go swimming in at those water parks.

  • @flowergold21 HAHA, I'm actually kindof afraid of water, so I never go swimming, ever.

  • i have red hair. and it never rubs off on anything

  • @XxPunkerchik16xX I'm so jealous! Mine gets on my shirt when my hair is wet, and on my pillow...randomly. It's mostly when I used specific semi perm dyes though. What do you use?

  • @scubascissors manic panic. i dont want to kill my hair. because i straighten it all the time. so dye and straighten is no good. so i use manic panic a vegan dye

  • @XxPunkerchik16xX Huh, that's what I use most of the time too (I've got vampire red in now) and it always bleeds on EVERYTHING XD

  • @scubascissors really? it never bleeds with me. do you fully wash it out?

  • @XxPunkerchik16xX I do! I don't shampoo though.

  • @scubascissors me either at least not when washing the color out only

  • so my hair was red and i desperatley miss it. my mom HATED it..i wanna dye it red today.how do you suggest i go about talknig my mom into it?

  • @MariAnne6297 With an enumerated list? XD I don't know, I'm AWFUL about convincing people of stuff

  • i wash my hair twice a week.. and the comparison is really often!

how often do you dye your hair?

  • @pinkberrylovesjonas Every month or so I dye it nowadays

  • My tub didn't turn red my shirts and towels did ummm oh my bed sheets and pillowcases are black ( ooohhlala) so i cant see it but im sure they are..loved the Vid!

  • @MIZZJOJO956 What? Your tub didn't turn red? I AM SO JEALOUS. My tub eventually go better, but the caulking is just never going to be the same again :(

    (oooooh black sheets!)

  • @scubascissors use bleach in your tub. leave it for a little while then wash it out

  • @XxPunkerchik16xX Yeah, that worked for the tub, but my caulk is permanently pink, I fear :( Thanks!
