Lou Reed. David Bowie helped Lou Reed get a chance at making his own solo album (the first album named 'Lou Reed' was a failure, so Bowie gave him another shot at it, and the album 'Transformer' was the result of this).
Bowie loved(/loves) Lou Reed due to the major influence he had on his music while still in the band The Velvet Underground (seriously, check it out!^^). He was promoting songs from The Velvets at the peak of his Ziggy Stardust fame, he was name dropping them quite a few times.
@Loveonlyvodka funny you should say that cause the songs originally By Lou Reed and was made famous on his album Transformer(1972) which David Bowie helped create and produce. He even did backing vocals on the Transformer recording, though the song was originally played by Reed in the Velvet Underground, this version does kicks ass.
I thought I'm hearing something like (set the light of love)??? Then I looked at the title once more and started laughing... very cool video... luv Yoshiki kun! ;]

Didn't Yoshiki write this song?
05290066 2 years ago
Nope, Lou Reed did =P
I really recommend you to listen to some of Lou Reed's stuff and his old band the Velvet Underground.
Am0nknight1234 2 years ago
oh thank you :D

Wow, I love this song! It's so beautiful!
Where can I find more Issay songs?
sweatestdisease 2 years ago
Well I don't know much of Issay, but this isn't 'his' song. It's a cover of a song from Lou Reed, you can find it on the 'Transformer' album.
If you like these songs I highly recommend you to check out some songs from Lou Reed and The Velvet Underground. It's simply brilliant music!
It's really unique and special music, from the Velvets to his solo career, it's all so diverse yet wonderful still.
...I'll stop harassing you with my love for Lou Reed's/The Velvet Underground's music!xD
Am0nknight1234 2 years ago
I was quite sure it wasn't his song, but I love his version of it, still. His voice is brilliant. And it feels like late '80s. So it just caught me.
But, of course, I'm gonna check Lou Reed and The Velvet Underground, thank you for your recommendation ;D I love meeting new music =^o^=
/haaaa, if I'd start to write to you about my BT obession... you'll just run away, for sure XDDD/
