felicity is an incredible incredible actress in both drama and comedy, and yes the episode she submitted was picked because of how well she did dramatic wise, i mean i still get chills when she screams at carolyn before being shot, but desperate housewives is first a foremost a comedy and it was placed in that category from its first season. i love every actress nominated and im glad america got it cause everyone deserves their chance.

I thought all the nominees deserved to be up there...except probably Julia. She's a great actress, but she's always nominated because the Academy loves her so much. She won that Emmy that one time when Jane Kaczmarek should have, and she ousted Felicity Huffman from a nomination last year
