  • Big hole in this vid... What if the toilet is filled from a tank in the attic? Turning off the mains water will still leave a full tank of water to be drained. I think a small mention of that is necesary, as someone not in the know might have a bad accident thinking once the mains water is turned off , then they are all good to work on the valve.

  • whos doing the repairs here? Carl from Aqua teen?

  • Gorilla hands.

  • There is no need to do all of this if you just buy a speedy valve. Its a all in one feed/valve and there is no need to shut the main off. Check it out.Its made by floodmaster

  • Are the steps/items needed the same if you are replacing the water supply valves underneath the bathroom sink? thanks.

  • @izzyzzyi - both are exactly the same.

  • Thanks again. I am tired and exhausted, but satisfied with my work and what you have taught me to do. :0) Praise the Lord!!!

  • I want to thank you a million times over a million times. I had this issue and went to Home Depot for assistance. I did not know which way to turn the two nuts. The store rep told me to turn the nut nearest the wall downward and the supply valve in the opposite direction. My story follows in your part 2 segment.
