@thetrailbrake The car has MacPherson struts, independent front and rear suspension with stabilizer bars. I think it handles fine compared to the double wishbone suspension of the Miata.
@codic3s yeah I was thinking about running one of these in Hstock hopefully the Mini coopers will get pushed out of that class and i think a protege has a shot at a real title.
@thetrailbrake The great people at Mazda defiantly knew what they were doing when they designed this car. For its time this was a very good car and can still outperform many newer cars.
I wish the camera operator would have taped a little longer, my car was up next. I can hear my 7 towards the end of the video but wish I could see it?!?!?!? Also do you know of any more videos of superfly sundays autox that I can watch?

@PrinceValorum I wouldn't be able to know since they did not have official timing. I got the time of my car and the other 3 cars from recording them with the camera and looking at the time on video from start to finish.
@PrinceValorum Yea thats first gear the whole time. It's a very tight track, the only one I've stayed in 1st the whole time. They design it as a 1st gear only track for safety and it ends up making it a lot more difficult with all the tight turns.

I was putting out faster times than a newish Civic si, Cobalt and Evo, all of which have more HP. All this from a mostly stock 92 Protege!
