I've noticed you asking this on a lot of gunge videos, and I have to ask you back - why do you spend so much time on them? I see no humiliation in the video - just people enjoying something slightly squeamish.

There's a search bar up there. Go and find something that you like instead of using your time to look down on people for what they like. You'll be much happier for it, and I can guarantee that we will be as well.

In the many hours I spend watching videos on YouTube, I always seem to find videos featuring some sort of public humiliation. I don't need to deliberately search for them but I always seem to come across them. Publicly humiliating another person is a pet peeve of mine so it motivates me to make comments and I will continue to do so. Although I do realize that some people really do enjoy being gunged and pied, there is an element of public humiliation to it and that's why many people like it.

It's a strange thing, certainly. There is an element of... 'schadenfreude' is possibly the word... to it that some enjoy more than others.

But importantly, it's something that's fun as well, for people who agree to do it. I wouldn't ever agree with gunging someone who wouldn't enjoy it in some way and just be humiliated by it, but again, that's not what I see in most of these videos.

I do agree that many seem to enjoy yet it seems many of the gunging/pieings are the result of losign a contest or competion. Others are the result of being set up by family and friends for an ambush gunging. Again there's the element of public humiliation or a least the perception of it by people watching. Look at it from this perspective. Reality TV has taught us that there's an endless supply of people willing to publicly humiliate and degrade themselves just to be seen on TV.

Umm, that was nice, but y didn't they show them covering their hair in that gunge? I also wish they did fully dunk their heads in. But I guess they're messy enough.
