That storm hit us hard in Lincoln Nebraska 24.3 inchis of snow fell from Noon 12/24-Noon 12/26. With wind gust near 65 mph in Grand Island 90 miles to the west it was a bad storm. My car was drifted over. Me and the famaly servived at least on christmas day we stayed put in the house. Christmas Eve we were at Church from 6-9 PM. and at my motherinlaw's from 9-10 thats win it got bad.
@parsleysprigs We get layer after layer of ice before any snow hits. I won't matter if it's cold or not. Oklahoma has a more humid climate than Colorado. Colorado may get more snow and it may be colder, but the ICE on the road proves that it's more dangerous than 2-3 feet of snow.
@dragnridr05 My point was that we do get ice we just know how to drive in it, may I remind you we have the 1-70 interstate route that goes through the mountains drive that for a few hours and tell me about dangerous Ice conditions.
WOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! I survived that blizzard in dewey Oklahoma. Our door blew open overnight and let a foot of a snow drift in our house, and we were asleep while it happened little did we know it was so cold until we woke up.
I am so happy I bought a Jeep Wrangler.. didn't have a single problem getting around Tulsa during this storm.. it actually helped me do nice thing for people
i remember this my first christmas we were at cedar blue .we came down for christmas break from aurora. all roads were closed down. the next day we into the city for christmas dinner i had to use my 4 wheel drive going nb-35 and saw a total of 57 cars & three18 wheelers, and 1 fedex truck between Sulphur & moore . we went to ardmore @ the park to see the christmas lights. we also saw the lights in sulphur @ 12th&wynnewood .the lights blink with music. 92.3fm . had a great time in oklahoma
I'm thankful that for all the people that were able to get to there destinations on christmas eve, it unfortunate that some probably didn't however i cant give any stars for this video, I still have a case of the red ass because we didn't get any snow, and the irony behind that is everyone around us within a matter of a few miles all recieved at least some snow accumulations.
@firealarmtech7 But in Oklahoma if one flake falls we all start crashing into each other :) We had no idea where to even put all the snow. Not to mention all the cars in the snow.
Holy cow!!!! Y'all got rocked! And all we got was an inch in the front yard, two in the back :/ At least we had a white Christmas!!! Glad you're okay - 5/5 stars! And Merry Christmas. =]
Glad I wasn't stuck in that traffic Christmas Eve on I-44.Anyone remember how much snow we got in Tulsa that day?

@parsleysprigs But do you got mostly ice? No? Just the powder snow crap? Drive on nothing but ice as hard as concrete, then you'll understand.
