Aww, I have two very similar Tiels. I have a boy white-face (the same as this little singer, but without any yellow or red - so his face is completely white), then a pied white-face like the other one there, but again with no yellow or red. Love watching them sing, it's so cute!

mine had a spotted tail, and barely any yellow on his face o_o and then he began to change and he started mating with my female, and his feathers weren't spotted after a few months and his face covered in yellow XD is that normal?

I wouldn't know, I'm no expert. However my bird's feathers sometimes changed shades, so I don't imagine it's anything to worry about, I would look into it though. Maybe they change with age.

boys have yellow heads and colorful bodies and girls only have grey bodies

both have grey bodies, females heads aren't as yellow and bright as males though.

There are alot of mutations though, which have colourful bodies, but normal greys both ahve grey bodies. the other tiel in the video isn't a nomral grey male, he's some sort of pied mutation. :)

doesn't matter about their body colours. the tails is the only way you can tell. if the tails has yellow/grey strips, then it's a girl. if its just plain grey, its a boy.

Yeaaaaa..., he never shuts up, whenever we put on the tv at night he sings and it can get very annoying. Even if you cover the cage, he will try to move the towel or look for a open space.

my cockatiels don't bite...but my male is no where near as friendly as he was before the firl came along. He used to beg to be pet and let out of the cage. We get the girl and he wants nothing to do with me! He runs from mew the little brat! I taught him the cat call, Are you sleeping? and a few other jingles...he will mount her, and then sing a few tunes when he's done...too funny.

I didn't tame him, when we got him he instantly started singing like the video. Many people say that he is really happy because thats what they do when they are happy. He can be annoying at times because he sings when the t.v is on.

And... whenever we want him to be quite he is not, but when we want him to talk he doesn't sing sometimes.

to tame either hand rear or spend a lot of time with him, adults are quite difficult to tame. you should trying feeding him by hand first and then after a few weeks trying to stroke him.
