My family adopted a little girl in 2004 her name is Charlotte. She came to my home as my foster sister, She has Shaken Baby Syndrome. Charlotte can not sit, sat, eat, walk, talk, or even hold her head up. My whole family was in the car when we first heard this song. No one in the car had a dry eye, we all were thinking of his daughter and my sister. Every time I hear this song I think of her running, dancing, talking, and singing, all things I will never see her do on earth.

My family used to be really religious.. but then for some reason my parents stopped going to church. And they started to hate anything Christian related. But i love Jesus Christ, and i try as hard as i can to get out of my house on sundays and go to church. I do feel guilty because its behind my parents back, but its songs like this that make me remember why I refuse to dismiss the love i have for my Lord Jesus Christ.

I'm a Christian, and I love Jesus Christ with all of my heart, but I find it hard to believe that wanted a 5 year old little girl to get run over by a car. I don't believe that God controls everything or that he wants things like this to happen. I feel like saying everything happens for a reason is a cop out, and it's something we say to make others feel better. However, God does use these things to change other peoples life for His will and His way.

I myself have had personal experience with great pain and hurt. While I can not relate exactly to him, it amazes me how God can turn such horrific tragedies into such great building blocks in our lives. Whenever you feel as if you are suffering and God isn't helping, just remember, we made this world the way it is today, and he gave his life for us on a CROSS!!! CRUCIFIED! That was the greatest love, and that, losing a child/loved one, is still the greatest pain to this day.

Gabby suffered & battle stage IV neuroblastoma a cancer with no known cure.
She battled strongly for 3 yrs on the goal of the words "remission" instead she got "Welcome to Heaven" from the Lord. She was a beautiful brave young girl who didnt deserve to leave. She is no longer suffering & laughin with her new friends in heaven. She now is flyin & r angel

When I heard about Maria Sue and what happened, I prayed and cried, and just asked God to show them that although they where falling to pieces, the He wasn't , and I repeatedly asked God to protect there marriage and their remaining children.

My little brother died a couple of months after Maria Sue did almost three years ago now, and he was five too. I broke down and started crying listening to this song. I bet Maria Sue and Michael are good friends. I hope so. I miss him so much. Still to this day. This song makes me believe and want to work harder to make sure I can get to Heaven.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine the pain you must feel. The part of your post that caught my eye was when you said that you "want to work harder to make sure I can get to heaven". You don't have to work harder to make sure you go to heaven. In Acts 16:31, it says "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved". All you have to do is believe in Jesus that He died on the cross to take the punishment for your sin and that he rose again and IS ALIVE in heaven

You know how Disney seems to promote adoption with so many of its characters? Well, they recently did a Darkwing Duck comic arc in which an alternate universe version of Darkwing, Quiverwing Duck, lost his adopted daughter But instead of giving up, he took on Gosalyn's hero persona and kept fighting. Reading his story reminded me how much I love this album for the message of hope it gives to those dealing with loss.
Even though I can't relate to loosing a child, I can relate to loosing a loved one (or multiple), therefore the idea of this song rings SO true. I'm only 17, but I know what it's like to loose the people I loved most and to cling to God and the idea of Heaven because there's nothing else left anymore. I can't wait for the time when Jesus finally comes back to take us home and we can all be reunited. It's gonna be amazing. <3

Her name was Lydia Ellen and I miss her so much. The grief I have is almost overwhelming sometimes. She loved music and could sing Jesus Loves Me, My Girl and You are my sunshine. She brought such joy , laughter and love to all of us and that is what keeps us all going.

I lost my 12 year old daughter in a tragic hit an run last year. Her name was Samantha Lee. She was a dancer. She, too, had big brown eyes that would disappear when she smiled and miss her so much.

I feel this way about my beautiful daughter....she's 19yrs old now but with health issues lives at home and does college online for now...for now until God gives us all the answers to get her up and going. I'm a Christian, and I love Jesus Christ with all of my heart, but I find it hard to believe that wanted a 5 year old little girl to get run over by a car. I don't believe that God controls everything or that he wants things like this to happen. I feel like saying everything happens for a reason is a cop out, and it's something we say to make others feel better. However, God does use these things to change other peoples life for His will and His way.

I myself have had personal experience with great pain and hurt. While I can not relate exactly to him, it amazes me how God can turn such horrific tragedies into such great building blocks in our lives. Whenever you feel as if you are suffering and God isn't helping, just remember, we made this world the way it is today, and he gave his life for us on a CROSS!!! CRUCIFIED! That was the greatest love, and that, losing a child/loved one, is still the greatest pain to this day.

March 4th 2010 at 4.50 AM God gained a beautiful angel named Gabby
Gabby suffered & battle stage IV neuroblastoma a cancer with no known cure.
She battled strongly for 3 yrs on the goal of the words "remission" instead she got "Welcome to Heaven" from the Lord. She was a beautiful brave young girl who didnt deserve to leave. She is no longer suffering & laughin with her new friends in heaven. She now is flyin & r angel

This song shows me they held on inspite of the Storm and they let God hold on to them.. Love this song - To my heaven is the face of a little blonde hair boy, and to hear him say " where's the beef " he loved that Wendy's chimerical.. in 1984 A little 2 1/2 yr old boy was accidentally shot in head and died. My family fell apart, eventually stop going to church, my parents divorced, life fell apart. One thing I discovered though, even when your whole life falls apart, God doesn't.
When I heard about Maria Sue and what happened, I prayed and cried, and just asked God to show them that although they where falling to pieces, the He wasn't , and I repeatedly asked God to protect there marriage and their remaining children.

My little brother died a couple of months after Maria Sue did almost three years ago now, and he was five too. I broke down and started crying listening to this song. I bet Maria Sue and Michael are good friends. I hope so. I miss him so much. Still to this day. This song makes me believe and want to work harder to make sure I can get to Heaven.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine the pain you must feel. The part of your post that caught my eye was when you said that you "want to work harder to make sure I can get to heaven". You don't have to work harder to make sure you go to heaven. In Acts 16:31, it says "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved". All you have to do is believe in Jesus that He died on the cross to take the punishment for your sin and that he rose again and IS ALIVE in heaven

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith- and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast."
Alexxiee, there is nothing that you or I can do to save ourselves. Salvation is only through faith in Jesus Christ. It's God's gift to you.

This song is what kept me from suicide At the age of 12 before I had God in my life. Looking back it was only a year ago on the 17th. I heard this song on my friends Ipod and It moved me so much i started crying. it was the way that I found him.

You know how Disney seems to promote adoption with so many of its characters? Well, they recently did a Darkwing Duck comic arc in which an alternate universe version of Darkwing, Quiverwing Duck, lost his adopted daughter But instead of giving up, he took on Gosalyn's hero persona and kept fighting. Reading his story reminded me how much I love this album for the message of hope it gives to those dealing with loss.

Even though I can't relate to loosing a child, I can relate to loosing a loved one (or multiple), therefore the idea of this song rings SO true. I'm only 17, but I know what it's like to loose the people I loved most and to cling to God and the idea of Heaven because there's nothing else left anymore. I can't wait for the time when Jesus finally comes back to take us home and we can all be reunited. It's gonna be amazing. <3

Pain and grief are truly two of the greatest threads any group of people can ever have in common. I do not know the pain that comes with the death of a child, but I do know the pain that accompanied the death of my only sibling and this song speaks to my hurt just the same. God works in beautiful and mysterious ways.

Her name was Lydia Ellen and I miss her so much. The grief I have is almost overwhelming sometimes. She loved music and could sing Jesus Loves Me, My Girl and You are my sunshine. She brought such joy , laughter and love to all of us and that is what keeps us all going.

This entire album has brought me so much comfort during some difficult times I am experiencing right now....when I listen to the beautiful, simple lyrics of all the songs on Beauty Will Rise, I weep. They are tears of sadness mixed with tears of joy in the knowledge, that, as Steven says, Our God is in Control. Thank you Lord for the Chapman family.

This is the first time I've ever actually HEARD the words to this song and it's beautiful. I feel this way about my beautiful daughter....she's 19yrs old now but with health issues lives at home and does college online for now...for now until God gives us all the answers to get her up and going.
