Nice shooting, So I have a question about your method of attacking the course. Usually I engage in sequence on the easy stages like I & II, you seem to do close plates first then engage distant second. Is this just so you save the shot you could miss till last? *I haven't shot that stage so I am not sure if there were specific instructions to do so*
@speedfreak247 - I usually break each stage into sections. Near and far do not determine which targets I engage, but where it stands to make transitions easier. If you search KC Eusebio Pro Tip on YouTube he gives fantastic tips on how to look at a steel challenge stage. Check it out. :)
@RandomName97531 - Hey, as long as you were having fun, that's all that matters! Was your daughter the one shooting the 22 rifle? If so let me know, I think my bro took a video of her shooting it. I can send it to you if you want.
So the extractor was giving you trouble on the 34? That's weird. I've put hundreds of rounds through my G19s with a suppressor and haven't ever gotten enough crap in there to make them jam. Other than the jams do you like it? I've considered getting either the 34 or the 17L (I run a 17 for IDPA).
@47MasoN47 - I've shot A LOT through that extractor...I think it's about time to replace all the internal parts. Only thing I've replaced in the last 4 years is the recoil spring. I took it completely apart and cleaned the crud out before I gave it to my bro to finish up his match. It worked...but the brass was just barely trickling out. It's pretty worn out. To answer your question, go for the G34. Works for IDPA/USPSA Production/SSP/ESP. 17L is not legal for production...
@gamingoddess Oh wow, it's worn out!? Dang you must have put some serious lead down that barrel! Thanks for the advice, I'll probably snag one of those Q1 next year... gotta pay off my M-11 first...
@jeffshootsstuff - It's a CRSpeed holster....I usually don't use that for G34 but I was simply swapping guns that day so well...it held it well though.
I shoot SC too and I use it for practice. Like you said it teaches the fundamentals. I really enjoy it.
I shot the FL State Championship on Saturday (11/5) and had a great time. Three bad stages probably cost me a 3rd or 4th place finish in my division. But that how it goes.
As for keeping up during the winter months, dry fire like crazy; but I'm sure you know that already.
@ilike2run2 - Nice. I pretty much ignored every SC match in this area...unfortunately, now that I see how fun it is...well you know what's going to happen to my budget. I will like to shoot the FL Open one day...or maybe if I beg enough and save up some money I can get a slot to the IPSC Worlds in 2014...hey, a girl can have her wishes...
Good shooting. Keep it up!

Great video! I was in your group (father with daughter). Yes, indeed, it is addicting. Maybe next time I'll have a more suitable pistol....

Looks like a bit of frustration was creeping in there. Those little pates can be a bugger.
