I've had a watch on that video that thund3rhead made and I have to admit he got the whole song right. Not once did he flop on the recreation of my favorite music track in this game IMO.

i agree, the others weren`t hopeless, but this game was so original that i still play it today. lego stunt rally was funny, but short and repetive. drome racers was cool and all, but repeative and not very creative in my opinion. lego racers 2 was better than the two others, but had repeative tracks and a bad builder. lego racers was special cuz it had variated tracks, original and simple yet advanced builder, simple yet challenging and it was so easy to pick up and play.
@TheNinwii I never really got into the whole Drome Racers thing. It felt too out of place for me to really bother with it. Instead, I stuck to playing Lego Racers 1. Simply for the car creator.:P

That's because Rocket Racer's strategy mainly was to be the fastest and have the biggest lead, so even the heat seeking missiles would have trouble catching up to him. That must be why his track is ridden with the most green and white bricks.
Basil on the other hand likes to go fast, but also loves to vary in wreaking havoc, especially with the magic wand. Given the limited number of green bricks, I'd say he's quite the strategist.
@legoking831 Drome racers sucks. It is damn hard and the people wern't lego. It had stupid drag races that determines your starting position for the first race in group races!!! It has this annoying beep beep beep and explosion.

WHAT? Drome Racers ROCKS! Sure, you can't build cars and some of the vehicles slide on road tracks, but the graphics are great, the music is awesome, and off road cars handle perfectly. It's quite a fun game, and the GBA version is very impressive as far as graphics go (environments are in full 3D)... I have it for both PC and GBA, and I love it. The only thing I don't like is that fact that all the characters are human, and not minifigs...
@donaldlolwut I did not like Racers 2, something was just missing, the physics were different, the side missions were pointless, the building wasn't as fun. Overall I just thought they tried to make it too complex.

@thechocobro Before you hit the U-turn, turn into the wall (it's behind a rock). There's a small tunnel there. Not much of a short-cut, but a short-cut nonetheless.
@wakuwaku333666 That part near the middle with the thin hallway and the sharp turns always got me. Then the fact that Basil was a turbo hog didn't help. Still, Basil was awesome.
Before anyone takes it a bad way I don't mean Ponies are bad I'm just saying that all these tracks are sooner or later going to be ponified

Personally, I feel that this is probably the best Lego racing game, but Lego Racers two is fun too.:D Not as fun though.:P

no cut on this track - i´m 100% sure - i´ve been searching for years lol. tried everything possible. there´s no cut.
and basil is the hardest boss to beat i think, second gipsy moth.
wouldn´t it be cool if all the bosses were in the last race, not just some unknown NPCs? still, awesome game
