The most badass ride I've experienced. Doesn't look like much from the outside. Inside it's brutal as hell. Yeah!

i rode this last night at our fair...it was a gas powered one....i had a maidrite nachos and a full bottle of pepsi 3 minutes before i rode....IT WAS AWESOME

Great memories of riding this at our podunk carnival and 4H fair in the '70's! That gas engine really adds something to the experience.

it is direct drive with clutches . look at the man running it with the stick. i miss all the old gas rides.

The gas engine probably powers hydrolic pumps. Not direct drive from the gas engine.

I remember this! I go to the Puyallup Fair every year. For a Loop-o-Plane, that acutally looks pretty fast!

I think these are scarier than normal Kamikaze simply because they spin faster, but they're definitely a lot smaller.

OMG! I luvvv this ride! This was the first upside down ride i just went on in May! The only crappy thing is when your upside down your stomach pushes on the bar but i went on twice in a row and i didnt close my eyes WOOT!

These rides were also very popular at amusement parks across the country beginning in the 40's and 50's. Now, they've almost completely dissapeared.
