  • That is amazing. The way the atmosphere works is almost flawless, and how did you make those spectacular rings, what program did you use?

  • @MrsBlindStudios Novae are nothing short of proffesionals so I expect they built their own programme.

  • That's fucking it i'm in awe, a 3D planet, with GRAVITY.

    fucking hell, amazing!

  • id love to be able to make an underwanter city. I hope there will be polar regions

  • Player-cities is gonna be awesome!

  • Is the motion blur a raster effect applied to the final rendered product like a filter, or is it rendered as a multi-instance of all objects seen with sub-frames?

  • this is true motion blurr, not the fake like in flatout,cobra11 or need for speeds. i want such mblurr in games!

  • Play Crysis.

  • Thats bloody amazing. The ring is so realistic. Seriousley, this game just owns life.

  • Hmm... no shaddows yet?

  • I see shadows...

  • Not those shadows...

  • Shadow maps/volumes

  • We have proper dynamic shadows. This video is very old now.

  • Why Combat Prototype doesn't have shadows?

  • Yes, they will have Newtonian space physics. They have completed 30% of that, or something.

  • Wow imagine this in a sort of EVE style in space .... FPS style on the ground or in the cities... Imagine this scenario.... You get attacked by Space Pirates on a trading run from point A to point B.,...You are shot down and forced to eject / crash land onto a desert planet filled with all kinds of animals / species and you have to make your way back to a city or arange an Evac from a friend or something

  • Dude, you have no idea how much I've wanted a game like that to come out. Ever since I played Freelancer I wanted to play a game where it would turn into a third-person shooter or something when you landed. God, how AWESOME would that be?

  • will infinity hav newtonian space physics? i always thought a modern day asteroids wud b awsome.

  • Yep, the space physics will be Newtonian.

  • pretty awesome this is ..well....the same phantom planet from the forums xD but very nice physics so far...dun change it :D and the blur effect was nice as well....it makes sense moving at high speeds :D
