  • LOVE this! ET1/ss(frmr) 655B

  • Love this. It made me laugh. My husbands an MT on the USS Pennsylvania SSBN 735!

  • HELL YEAH! =)

  • Loved it. A salute to all you USN bubbleheads from an ex member of the RN boat people.

  • For all to know, the photo of the individual dressed as a Marine MGYSGT in Dress Blues near the beginning is false. The individual pictured is a fraud who was exposed and convicted in 2010 under the Stolen Valor Act. Recommend the author redo this otherwise fine video.

  • A salute to those who run silent and run deep. I prefered to crawl quietly through the mud and the crud

  • great video minus the poser. SSBN 618, SSBN630 CMC Sublant

  • @bobrodriguez55 Thanks, shipmate and thanks for your service.

  • DBF SS-368

When boats were made of wood (teak deck) and men were made of steel...

  • The Mark 14 may have been o.k. - But that exploder mechanism and depth control . . . Sheesh!!!!!!!! Not to mention the Bureau of Ordnance!

  • Nice one!!! DBF!!!

  • Awesome video! USS Helena (SSN 725) from 1995-1999. No slack in a Fast Attack!

  • @paulmrucker Amen! I did 310 days at sea my first year on the Shark SSN-591. Not bad for a boat held together with EB green and baling wire.

  • Big Dog of the Red Sea Wolf Pack aka USS Providence SSN 719, radioman, 2003-2006.

  • @AngelusLocke Providence is a great boat and still in her older age know how to land a punch!

  • "PRIDE RUNS DEEP"

  • @wldcherries You betcha!

  • SSN 571, SSBN 619 gold

  • Great to see the YOKOSKA bars mentioned ,CHARR ,forever! from Joe Posito , the COOK ,'59-'62.

  • USS Torsk SS-423

    USS Cubera SS-347

    USS Alex. Hamilton SSBN-617

    DBF!

  • @Webleys Visited the Torsk back in April 2011. Baltimore is my hometown and Torsk looks great in the Inner Harbor.

  • I got a good chuckle out of this. My Father is "on eternal patrol" aboard the USS Scorpion.

  • I wonder which Perry-class FFG that is... obviously one sold to a foreign fleet because FFG 4 was pre-Perry among our skimmers.

  • Also the marine in the dress blues is a poser Steven Burton, 39, of Palm Springs Calif., wearing a United States Marine Corps dress uniform, who has never served with any branch of the United States armed services, allegedly was seen and photographed on several occasions wearing military uniforms and various medals, including the Navy Cross and the Purple Heart.

  • @deepdivingsubmariner - no kidding! I looked up his name and HuffPo had the story and the same photo. I learn something new every day. Posers make me sick!

  • @deepdivingsubmariner Thanks for pointing that out. I thought the picture looked familiar when it flashed by but failed to make the connection.

The Bluespiper: I respectfully request that you find a picture of a genuine decorated Marine to replace the Burton picture with. I have a friend who was a diesel boat guy and another who was a doc on a nuke based in Holy Loch. I want to send this video to them but won't until Burton is GONE. Thanks.

  • @v0n1b0 I'm sure I could find a better photo of a Marine more deserving of representation. The next edition will definitely have a better vetted, legit marine. Thanks for the heads up. I wasn't aware of this guy's deception.

  • @deepdivingsubmariner Thanks for pointing this out. I'm working on another edition of this video and will drop this impostor, for sure.

  • One of the greatest videos I have ever seen. But of course I am a Smoke Boat Sailor and loved and lived the life...

    Grubby Dave USS Segundo SS398.

  • Excellent

  • Great video about a great group of Americans.

  • MANTASTIC!!!

  • The Blue Angel is the late LCDR Kevin J. "Kojak" Davis who perished in a crash during a performance in Beaufort, SC, April 21, 2007.

  • @psetters Thanks for that info on LCD Davis. I used to be stationed at Corry Station in Pensacola and got to see the Blue Angels often. The best air force in the world is US Navy pilots.

  • Great Clip.

    Don (SS)

  • Dear Lord, don't blame the Mark 14 on God!!!

  • Truer words were never written!! Dive! Dive! Dive!

  • And they went, and still do, where no others had gone, do go. With my gratitude for their service to our country in "sharks of steel."

  • @NancySubsister ..Here, here!!!

  • DBF!!

  • Outstanding and oh so true!

  • Very nice keep up the lords work
