In the intro he mixed English and metric units. Feet and kilometers. Didn't we learn not to do that during the Mars UAV fiasco? When can we just adopt the metric system?
@yairbe5 Cause u get subsidized by my country and ur country spies and steals our secrets. Dam i hate israel, fight ur own wars and stop trying to drag us into them.
@reodk Phaha,what Israeli war was the US dragged in to?Israel has been working with UAV's since the 70's and has more experience in the subject then any other country and thats why it's better not because of your BS conspiracy theory's.
That thing looks almost identical to my modified Aerial Photography Easystar(Check my vids the quality is better). Mine including camera cost about 600 bucks, the government is probably paying 6000 a piece for those things. It's a cool instrument to see around the battlefield but it's sad for us tax payers.
Once and for all. You do not have to be USAF to use a UAV. You can even purchase one for civilian use. And USAF are soldier Generalleo. This just shows one option that the Spec Ops can use.
@IgorUSAF actually a civilian cannot buy a uav that can go more than 5 miles. people can but rc planes and FPV gear like what i have but its not gonna carry pounds or payload and wont be miltary grade top knotch.
@magicmike1122 You're talking as if it's impossible, but that's simply not true. Ever since RC flight, people have been flying with scale airplanes that came incredibly close to full scale. Think of 1/6th scale and such. Those planes SURELY can carry payloads and I've already seen some carrying guns.
In a way it's not unthinkable at all to make an FPV plane of a serious size fly way further than those 5 miles. In fact, do a search and you'll see range isn't as big a problem as you'd think.
@PHeMoX Hey i made that comment 8 months ago probaly without knowing much about mini uavs and such. Now im in to uav flying and i only have 1 mile range but soon im going to get a 20 dbi antenna for the video gear and a dragun link long range radio which is good up to 15+ miles so i now believe that us people can get uavs that fly far and carry the weight
Since when the hell does the USAF use a Raven?

Thats really the UAV? I thought It would be bigger and someone would actually pilot it.
GodofSnipers1 9 months ago
@GodofSnipers1
they have bigger uav's such as the MQ-1 Predator. as for a pilot no uav would ever have a pilot. UAV stands for 'Unmanned' Aerial Vehicle.

You don't have to be Spec Ops. This vid is just showing one of the things that they use.

USAF is full of shit, i have more respect for Soldiers and Marines the true warriors. (i do respect USAF pilots though, and Combat control)

lol wow - you gotta be a USAF or in a Army to operate a remote airplane witha a camera? I could do it here and am no where near USAf or spec ops lol

But you won't be saving lives, quite a difference there.
