I love hearing the stuff that is out of production now, since i never got to hear it or purchase it while it was still readily available. I adore all of Heather and Alex's music and wish I could have all of it.
@Luxai Personally, I'd go with a dragon :). That is, my version of dragons. (read: epic elemental hunters that don't eat sentients) (do not read: pyromaniatic killers that eat people for snacks and torture cute animals on their off time) (also do not read: CHIBI LIZARDS SQEEEE)
To add to the "Go or not to go" debate, I'd go. For two reasons. I've got nothing holding me here, and I've got an overactive sense of "If it's not mortal, and it says go with it, you go with it."
@Luxai Maybe you can think that you would reject her now, but how do you think you would be able to reply with an enchanting, unearthly beauty looking at you full of pure love?
@scatterbunny35 Rejected rejected and again rejected. Immortal life would be outright terrible, everyone you love would fade before your eyes and you would grow weary of the world. And I want to be as free as I can, regardless of what or who is offering me to live forever.
@Luxai I don't disagree with you, just wanted to see if you only thought that way shallowly or not. As evidenced by your expanded and deeper explanation for your statement, you are not. I hope you didn't take offense at my prior question, but I wanted to know why you would say that.
After Twilight, I think everyone (minus the population of ditzy brainless girls) has been put off of immortality.
If anyone can get me a copy of the album this song came from contact me here. My sister got me the cassette when she was a roadie for them in the Bay Area and I wore it out before losing in in one of my many moves around the country. Cassette or CD, I don't care. I'd love to have more than one copy of Keeper of the Flame by Phoenyx, just in case I misplace one again.
sorry, but you're probably out of luck. the album's been out of print for years, and sometimes goes for hundreds of dollars on ebay --- a real collector's item.
Heather re-recorded a lot of the songs on her later albums, but she didn't hold copyright to them all, so some --- including this one --- are just about impossible to find.
can anyone name the song with the lyrics; earth and fire wind and water dew of morning miles of may

as long as there is a road...to travel. Yes, destinations matter not, it's the road that matters. Immortality? Nice concept

Uhm, I would have rejected her o.o I want to live my life the way I want to, and I could never drop it - and who wants to live forever?
Luxai 1 year ago
@Luxai I dunno, I think I would've gone. Remember she's from when he would play pretend as a kid. So he's dreamed about her world for years.

FYI the music and lyrics of this song were actually written by Mark Ungar, who sings the male lead part. Heather sang the female lead vocal.
