Sylar, who can stop bullets in mid-air, fails at stopping a short japanese guy with a sword. Who, despite what most anime will have you believe, is usually a lot slower than bullets.

I loved the series, but hated this ending.

that was really lame how sylar just stood there and let himself get stabbed just so the season could end. season one was great overall, but this moment was perhaps the first in a long number of "seriously wtf" moments in the show's run that insulted the viewer's intelligence and love of the characters/mythology until it slowly turned into an aborted fetus of lazy writing and bad plot devices, an ugly shadow of its former self.

but seriously, bring on season 5, i'd watch the shit out of that

Everyone keeps talking about how easily Sylar was defeated by Hiro, but if you think about it-Sylar has NEVER been able to one-up Hiro.

There's this scene, and then another time Hiro put him in the back of bus (strapped to a dolly), and then when he though he was ten he was like, "Bad man, come with me" and teleported him to who knows where...

I think Hiro is the End-All

I saw this when it was on TV (UK) and I thought, a very obvious mistake. Hiro teleports with his sword facing one way and in the net camera angle, it is facing towards Sylar. Sylar needs to carry on methinks in Season 5 if there is one.

lol well, series 3 was split into 2 parts (Villains and Fugitives). I think everyone gets confused with what we mean by 'series 4'. The one that just finished was volume 4, series 3. So the new one is volume 5 x)

Sylar was best in season one. In season two he was a badass but without powers. In season three he was a crybaby. Season 4 hasn't shown us much about him yet. But I hope we'll see the good old Sylar cutting people's heads off, using telekinesis to throw police cars around. And most important. Everyone from Heroes has to be scared of him :-D
