  • is that a BB at 0:46 ?

  • @levilostritto1 no it's part of the one tool they're using

  • Oh fuck me

  • i thought they just popped it out with a surgical spoon

  • @TREFIVE With an evisceration they remove the cornea and iris, and then spoon out the contents. Then a small prosthetic is inserted inside of the globe of the eye to replace the fluid, and it is stitched up. a month or so later there is a scleral shell fit over top, commonly referred to as a glass eye... but the white of the original eye remains in the case of evisceration.

  • @TREFIVE ikr lol

  • I am glad to find a video like this on here. I just had that surgery 2 days ago and wanted to see just how it was done. I found it very fascinating and informative.

  • What caused the eye to be removed; was it cancer, an accident? Great video.

  • Holy shit @ this video.

    Cool.

What would this procedure be used for?

  • @SepteraDogma a malignant tumor in the eye and blind, painful eyes mainly and sometimes when there's an infection inside with loss of useful vision
