  • No Macho Man in HOF 2012 and I'll boycott everything WWE, somebody has to take a stand here.

  • This is one of my fav matches of all time.

  • This was the FIRST wrestling event that I EVER watched. This SNME, one week after Honky Tonk Man broke the guitar over Macho's head.

  • I'll stay away from the hall. Of fame comments but I have to lol at Jesse's comments in the beginning will u get your mind of Elizabeth body lmao

  • If Macho Man is still not in the Hall of Fame in 2012 I am FINISHED with WWE

    By the Way

    WWE means Worst Wrestling Ever

    WWF Means World WRESTLING Forever

  • MACHO MAN FOR HALL OF FAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Another ref who couldn't count to 10.

  • rip randy savage

  • OK, this has very little to do with this match but a lot to do with some of the comments I see here. I have to get this off my chest...... THE WWE HALL OF FAME DOESN"T MEANY ANYTHING!!!

  • @trekfanful The Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame and Museum in Amsterdam, NY is the only one I recognize. Here's why: Frank Gotch, George Hackenschmidt, Ed Lewis, Jim Londos, Lou Thesz, Bruno Sammartino, Mildred Burke, Bob Backlund, Donna Christanello and Judy Grable have all been inducted. None of them have been inducted into the WWE "Hall of Fame". I doubt any of them ever will be. In fact the Amsterdam Hall of Fame is the only one besides the wrestling Observer's to induct some of them.

  • @trekfanful BTW Randy Savage was inducted in 2009. This yeas inductees were: Everett Marshall, Bronko Nagurski, Dick the Bruiser, The Sheik, Ivan Koloff, Jerry Lawler, Road Warrior Animal, Road Warrior Hawk, Paul Ellering, Billy Robinson, Judy Grable and Vincent K. McMahon.

  • @trekfanful The WWE Hall of Fame serves two or three different purposes. 1) To have the inductees sign a no compete agreement. 2) To fulfill certain obligations to certain people (promoters who did business with his father, people he bought out or people who helped him or his father build the WWE into what t is today. 3) To throw the fans a bone 4) Ratings.

  • @trekfanful go to wwe's hall of fame website. he has not been inducted

  • @Eduardo10390 I was not talking about the WWE's fake "Hall of Fame". See my comments before the one you responded to.

  • good stuff. It's always funny when Jesse's genuinely being the unbiased commentator (often when it involves Savage against heels) and he has to keep reiterating how fair he's being cos no-one's hearing it YOU KNOW I ALWAYS TELL IT LIKE IT IS MCMAHON

  • 0:57 seconds Macho Man's logo almost looks like it should be Bret Hart's what with the pink glasses & all

  • what a great match. two great wrestlers, two great commentators, high energy, action-packed. awesome. one of the greatest I ever seen

  • @Deanobucko917 One of the greatest you've ever seen? So you've seen what about five matches?

  • reading bret's book, randy was one of the few workers he had a deep respect for, and both of them knew how to craft and perform a great match.

  • Bret was such an awesome heel back here, its amazing he went on 10 years as a face...people ask about Morrison and Daniel Bryan how they cant talk on the mic, Bret couldnt talk either but he was good as a heel...

  • @DML960 The difference between guys like Bret/Daniel (who reminds me of a new age Bret Hart) and Morrison is Bret and Bryan sound real and believable to the average viewer versus Morrison who sounds like he can't hide he's reading off a script and has no charisma as a face.

  • cool how they showed a logo for each wrestler before the match... usually just the little things i miss about the heydays of wrestling

  • This is one hot match and it's a head scratcher as to why these two (who would easily be in anyone's list of Top 10 wrestlers of all time) didn't have more matches over the years!

  • Canadian fans must have been very angry, that Bret Hart is being jobbed out to an American like Randy Savage .Due to Hulk Hogan's politics, Bret Hart never learned how to draw ratings, and therefor would be left as a tag team wrestler for the next 4 years following this event and when it was Bret Hart's time to shine; fans either quit watching wrestling or tuned into We Copy WWF to continue to watch Hogan & Savage.

  • who the FUCK could dislike this match/video of it? Whoever you are you don't know shit - these 2 are legends and this is one of SNME's best matches ever!

  • R.I.P.

  • this was a match between 2 legends one established ( savage) and one upcoming ( hart). Both were near the peak of their youth. Hart was still a mid carder on the verge of breaking through.. and im glad that savage was the one to put him over. no one knew how much this match would be a classic until a few years later when hart returned the favor and put savage over. I remember a time when hart was a local wrestler here in alberta and he had gratness then as well

  • So Vince McMahon says of Randy Savage: "Randy, who died in a car crash May 20 at age 58, was one of the building blocks of what is now WWE (previously known as the World Wrestling Federation)." That quite a different tune than him saying of Savage "I don't ever want to do business with that man." Vince McMahon is such a two faced person, but in the world of business, what else is new?

  • Macho Man: I will never be in the hall of fame because I screwed Stephanie when she was a minor.

Vince should just forgive Savage and thank him. It could be worse if Stephanie was screwing Afa or Sika.

  • @kamagong78 bret did not screw vince MAFFEW SCREWED VINCE

  • r.i.p Randy savage Nacho man

  • Was there a better time in wrestling?

  • Wrestlers dyying so young, theres hardly any of the wrestlers from the 80 s and 90s still alive. Its scary and haunting watching matches from back then.

  • 3:27 - That was Bret Hart's spot. He was severely injured doing the same thing with Dino Bravo at Maple Leaf Gardens on account of the rails being bolted to the floor and therefore had no give. I actually was there at the card to witness the incident. I had no idea how much it had hurt him until many years later when I read it in his biography. His lungs were crushed yet he still did not let Dino pin him opting to roll out for a count out..

  • @nitramletnan Another Bret Hart spot was running chest first into the turnbuckle. And he would run into it HARD.

  • fuck Vince McMahon robbing this man of being inducted while he was alive, he should have went in years ago, hell Vince let Bret back and Hogan too, i guess Macho wouldnt kiss his ass good for him but sadly this man who has earned it former 1 time IC Champ and former 6 time world champ (2 WWE and 4 WCW). MORE Than enough classic with Hogan, Flair and Steamboat and others, SADLY HE WILL go in now, but only cause he died Vince will be forced that asshold, fuck Vince RIP MACHO MAN,

  • @TombstoneInc i totally agree with you!!!!!!

  • @TombstoneInc mark much? it wasnt Vince McMahon denying him it was Savage's ego that wanted his father (who did nothing to get inducted) and his jobber brother in too...Vince offered randy a spot many times but it was randy that wanted to do his usuall power play...he did this in WCW too

  • I can guarantee that Elizabeth was at the pearly gates waiting to welcome Randy into that big squared circle in the sky

  • R.I.P. Macho Man! Ooooh Yeah, Dig It!

  • How is he not in the hall of fame (randy savage) straight beast.

    R.I.P.

  • @WallyChamp112 According to Rowdy Roddy Piper, the reason for the feud between Vince McMahon and Macho Man was because Macho slapped Vince in front of everyone when they were in a bar. The WWE and Macho Man seem to have started to reconcile though, since he did those promos for his action figure and WWE All-Stars for them. I have a feeling he'll be in the Hall of Fame very soon.

  • @WallyChamp112 Also, in addition to that feud with Vince, Macho Man simply didn't want to be in the spotlight for awhile, so that's why it took so long for them to get back on speaking terms.

  • RIP Macho Man. :(

  • RIP Macho Man

  • Gotta love Jesse the Body. Its not blatant until the count reaches 5! Classic heel commentary.

  • one dislike must be vince

  • Would have loved to seen a Wrestlemaia main event between Randy Savage and Bret Hart for the heavyweight title say in the early '90s.

  • @kevin32435

I agree..It should have happened at Wrestlemania 10.....The way I would have booked it would have been like this...Mr. Perfect wins the 93 Rumble and goes on to WM 9 to win the title from Bret... Shortly after, Yokozuna defeats Perfect for the title...Savage defeats Yokozuna on their RAW match in Feb 94, and at WM X Savage defeats Luger in the 1st WWF Title Match and in the 2nd WWFTitle Match, Bret defeats Savage for the WWE Title...Just the way I would have done it.

  • I would have loved to have seen a Wrestlemania main event for the world title between Bret Hart and Randy Savage while they where in their primes say in the early '90s

  • @kevin32435 According to an old wrestling rumor, Macho vs. Bret was supposed to happen at Wrestlemania 9 for the WWF title but since wrestling in the 90s was mainly good guy vs. bad guy, Yokozuna was placed in the match.

  • now this match is class all the way..

  • Niedhart shouldda got a bigger push

  • I never knew these ever even wrestled before until I heard of this match!

  • jesse the body..best color commentator ever

  • Where's the sound? I don't mind watching the match, but some sound would be very nice.

  • When you read a wrestler's bio it brings so much more insight to the match when you re watch it. Bret Hart wrote in his book that when he was catapulted from the ring by Savage and crashed against the barrier it wasnt his ribs that were in jeopardy as Mcmahon intially claimed he cracked his heel bone and had to work around it. Thatwas the professional he was.

  • Wow man, what an AWESOME match between two of the best that ever laced up the boots.

Macho should be in the HOF but I think he's at odds with Vince so who knows when that will happen.

Ultimate Warrior should be in too, but that will probably never happen

  • He'll be in the Hall of Fame in 2012

  • Absolutely classic match. Up there with being a contender for best WWF match of the 80's. Savage's selling is off-the-charts here and Bret is terrific in perhaps the biggest match of his career to that point.

I understand people considering Macho better (I personally rate Bret higher), but to use the fact that he was super quick at getting up on the turnbuckle and being faster as the argument, then thats just retarded. Quickness alone does not make a great wrestler, come on.

  • Two of the best sellers ever. Watch where he runs into the turnbuckle at 2:05 -- he makes it look like it must have been incredibly painful.

  • at 0:31 - it would have been SO FUNNY if Macho's cape had fallen over Jim Neidhart! ROFLOL!

  • And I'm glad this is out on DVD. I was pissed this match was on neither Bret nor Randy's dvds. These two are my two favorites to watch wrestle, next to Ric Flair.

  • I think this is both of them at their peak. I prefer Bret here as a heel and tag team wrestler. He had way more exciting solo matches then. When he became champ he had to fight mostly gimmick guys like Luger, Yokozuna. This is him really young, with a heavy build and hungry. And ofcourse this was when Macho was still allowed to wrestle great wrestlers. BTW, WCW really wasted both of these legends.

  • Macho MAN HOF 2011

  • @BSabres87 Macho man and HBK. I would love to see that.

  • @asnlunatic Yeah but they would not do both in the same year. I want Savage in 2011 and Shawn in 2012, but knowing Vince it is going to be Shawn in 2011. I dont want Randy to die before he is inducted

  • @asnlunatic They had great matches against each other.

  • @asnlunatic There's the one from Germany in 92; unfortunately Savage is a bit smaller, slower, and HBK wasn't at his peak yet. They kind of missed each other. It's more of a dream match despite the fact they've wrestled each other.

  • I always wanted to fuck Liz back in the day.

  • Randy Savage > Bret Hart

  • Fantastic match. I know macho man was better than Bret Hart. Thanx for the upload. Now i can show this to my brother as proof. Can you upload the mega powers vs twin towers match when you get a chance? Thanx.

  • @TheJamel1978 bret was a far better mat wrestler, u got to remember this was when macho man was head of the company and bret was still working his way up the ladder, do u really think that they would let a tag team specialist beat the top dawg? no doubt tho that the macho king was one of the greatest

  • @PerfectPlex090 That's true. I guess I am a little bit biased toward the Macho Man and at that time I didn't know about the scripting and so I thought Savage won because he was better. But now I know the real deal with wrestling. I do see what you're saying.

  • @TheJamel1978 @PerfectPlex090 You guys are out of your minds. Savage was and probably still is, a better WRESTLER than Bret Hart. Savage was just too fast for him and he came at Hart from all sides. Before Bret could set Savage up for the sharpshooter, Savage was already on the top turnbuckle ready to deliver a double ax handle. No contest.

  • @HectorDaBull Not technically, but better as far as quicker and more agile and he had more exciting moves and persona in-ring. And he was on his way to be the WWF champion. So in that respect, he was better. I feel you on that because I like Randy Savage better myself, but you can't take away from Bret Hart's technical skills.

  • @TheJamel1978 Savage was his WWF best between 1985-89. Unfortunately, when he was turned back to heel he was feuding with the likes of Hogan, Beefcake, Rhodes, and Warrior. To his credit, he probably carried Warrior in some of his best matches ever. Is anyone seriously going to say that Hogan Vs. Warrior at Wrestlemania 6 was better than Savage's match with the Warrior a year later?

  • @jstephenj Technically Warrior vs Savage was better. Emotionaly Hogan vs Warrior was better because of the highly anticipated " who's going to win " battle between those two. They both were great emotional matches.

  • @superlucas010578 both warrior vs hogan and warrior vs macho where terrible matches. warrior was a terrible wrestler

  • i had this episode of sat nite main event on tape for years. Also on this card: Hulk Hogan vs King Kong Bundy and Bam Bam Bigelow vs Hercules

  • "Macho Man" - the most underrated and unappreciated wrestling legend of all time. PUT HIM IN THE HALL OF FAME NOW!

  • I don't think he is underrated, I think Vince is afraid to put him on an open mic in public for fear of what he might say. Savage will be inducted into the Hall of Fame when he dies.

  • @niravmaurya underrated? the dude had a ton of World Titles how is that underrated?!?

  • @niravmaurya Isn't he in TNA? If he still is, he won't be in the WWE Hall of Fame anytime soon.

  • @niravmaurya I agree, its long overdue!

  • @niravmaurya Macho isn't underrated; and by fans, he's far from unappreciated; which is why you find him in the class of 2008 Professional Hall Of Fame (Inducted by wrestlers) - He has yet to be inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame (inducted by Furher McMahon) for reasons personal to Vince. I don't get why Randy is talked about as if he's some underdog; Savage is Mr. Pomp and Circumstance. Regardless of how you feel about wrestling, Savage is one of the greatest entertainers of all time. Period.

  • @niravmaurya wait he is not in the hall of fame

  • Jimmy Hart Rules!

  • RIP Liz,I miss you.

Drugs really dont do you any good ,why is she with Slaped arse face (Ranndy Pufow,)aka mach,o man

  • I don't recall this feud. What was the back story with Elizabeth and the Hart Foundation?

  • Macho had just turned babyface, so the Foundation and Honky Tonk Man were feuding with him just before WM 4, when he won the WWE title. One famous SNME moment was when Honky shoved Elizabeth and whacked Randy with a guitar.

  • @MattBronsil

There wasn't a fued, during a match with the Honky Tonk Man the Hart Foundation came down to ring side. Just when Savage was about to win the match Hart droped and elbow on Savage and saved Honky with a DQ loss so he would keep the belt. Savage wanted payback so he had this match with Bret.

  • @MattBronsil This was the first SNME after Savage turned face (when Honky Tonk Man broke the guitar over his head and Hogan saved him)

  • Can't the ref count to 10? Why wasn't Macho counted out 18 years ago?
