Metal is definitely NOT the easiest music to play; along with jazz music, metal is potentially the most trying, time consuming, demanding genre of music a drummer can play. Watch somebody good like George Kollias or Derek Roddy or Pete Sandoval. Then post a vid of yourself playing some of their material. Then you can talk about how easy it is, and I might actually not just dismiss it as you talking without putting any thought into your rambling.

wow dude.... yeah im not trying to be an asshole but this is more like how shitty grind bands played about 15-20 years ago .... not a deathmetal approach at all... and certainly not on par. you really need to slow down and practice, your blast is all over the place and it seems like you are struggling with the doublebass. their only 16ths and i hear the volume of the strokes all over the place, and the timing is bad. you cant play deathmetal without 32nd notes. freehand isnt enough dude.

blast beats and 32nd note double bass coincided each other's culmination in the early 90's.... and grind and death metal are two different things. grind came first. i was being honest... it sounds like hes having trouble with something you need to be doing in 2007. its 2009.

all im saying is it needs a lot of work. my advice is to learn the swivel, 2 strokes per side. it helped me tremendously. good luck.
