@rollinface697 nothing specifically says the creeper can't die, or shows it. he is just really hard to kill. Whereas pumpkinhead has proven utterly invincible to all direct attack, which also makes it impossible for the creeper to eat any of him. And an alien would most likely be unable to survive within either of them as they are not of simple living flesh. both are sort of walking re-animated corpses.

Pumpkinhead was just a cooler monster altogether.

A truly creepy demon rather than some mid-nineties teen movie monster that "couldn't be killed". At least they explain why Pumpkinhead couldn't be killed and they gave him a believable limitation.

Pumpkinhead is a vengence demon, he's a spirit/force that is sumoned to right a wrong, it takes a physical form to achive this goal.

It is tall, about 7-9 feet, strong, fast, and can take alot of damage (rile holes though its skull, etc.), also it can teleport, and doesn't really die until its finished what it was summoned for.
