So I regularly hunt for unreleased game source music like this - and this is a HUGE find. There are some tracks (trailer music) that you just can't source out the original files unless you contact the creators - and often that leads nowhere. The fact that you pulled it out of BF2:MC is really an astounding discovery. Even more so, simply because it's BF2:MC - like you said, who would want to pay money for that?
@Nutronic It actually came from Battlefield 2 - Modern Combat. I know, it may sound obvious where it's come from when I tell you, but it seriously wasn't obvious because:
#1 I didn't play the game since I thought it looked like a cheap console port.
#2 I already had Battlefield 2 for PC which was great, why would I want a console version of it?
#3 This song wasn't a part of the officially released BF2-MC soundtrack, so it was even harder to find.
@JinRenegade I disagree. Modern Combat was the best Battlefield game I ever played on consoles, second only to Bad Company 2. The campaign was choppy and the multiplayer had its bugs, but then again, which game doesn't?
Am I saying that Modern Combat is better than Battlefield 2 on PC? Oh, not by a long shot. But it is still a great game to this day. Not to mention, if you look carefully, Bad Company 1 has roots from Modern Combat and not the "official" Battlefield games.
@cheifsilvertoung I'm really glad I managed to help out man, made the video for all BF2 players who wanted to hear this song without those damn ambient sounds.
When I listened to the music and watched the video I could just hear all those vehicle sounds and the like as if I was watching the regular intro video.

@olenoerby It doesn't have a title, it was just on the main menu of BF2 - MC. I would just call it the "Battlefield 2 - Intro Song" or something.
