thanos is really powerful. and the only one that was able to put up a good fight was no other than DOOM! but remembering what if? secret wars i must say that. victor with infinity gauntlet and the beyonder's power was the most powerful character in marvel besides the living tribunal an the one-above-all. it would be tremendous if he would make an aparence as a playable character. in mvc 3

Badass...especially the double dose of Doom. Thanos was cornered and needed Mephisto to help him out. I loved the way Doom managed to power out of the Mind Gem super. Doom is simply amazing! Still, I love Thanos...the guy rocks!

Doctor Doom is indeed amazing. I'd say he's the most dangerous being on earth, and would be, if he could just let the Fantastic Four alone. However, Thanos is greater still, he's like Doom in space. The only way you can beat him is if he wishes to be defeated. Besides, he's acquired greater power than doom. Power from Silver Surfer versus the Infinity Gauntlet, which allows you to slap Galactus, around. He also got the "Heart of the Universe," which they said is even more powerful.

The Heart of the Universe is VERY much more powerful. He was able to destroy EVERYTHING (including LT) and was second only to OAA. But I think DrVictorDoom was responding to someone above who thought Magneto/Juggernaut should be considered more powerful than the Doom pair.

Exactly. Doom has accomplished much more than Magneto or Juggernaut. Not only has he stolen powers from some of the greatest cosmic beings in Marvel, he's also been spied on by Thanos, meaning he's considered a serious threat. Magneto definitely can't boast that.

Megneto isn't really a villain, as doom really is. Doom will kill at random, although not without purpose. Magneto will also kill, but for a reason.

True. Although his shape shifting could explain the size downgrade (making him more convenient for being a normal character). I never knew why they decided to make him purple, but the second player version is green, so eh.

Watch mode. AI vs. AI. Oh, also, since Thanos has Infinity Gauntlet his life and attack levels rise and fall with the different opponents (I was going more for story recreation here than straight up equal matches). Like in the comic version, Thanos gave himself just enough power to ensure victory, but limited his power enough to make it interesting. :-)
