Chris is the reason I started to incorperate splash cymbols into my playing, about 6 years ago I first started listening to Chris and Lamb of God and was completely blown away by Chris Adler's playing. So I was extremely happy to see him preform on this dvd at a friend's house way back and as I watched him play I noticed the splashes really complmented the music and it just got me thinking, wow I could do A LOT of really cool things with splashes in my metal and rock playing. THANK YOU CHRIS!!!

That's where the adrenaline comes in; he's having fun just doin his thing, and that translates into his bodily motions. I bounce around and shit when I'm playing fun parts

See! Everyone has there favorite drummer. I dont understand why someone would critisize someone else over who they like as a drummer better? EVERYONE has different tastes man, therefore, hacking up someones favorite drummer is just compleatly stupid and immature. To the people who like a certain drummer...all the power to ya! To the people who cant shut up and let people be into there favorite drummer, be happy these drummers exist, cause they make your favorite drummer look better.

i agree, but i actually prefer alder over portnoy. bc its clear tht portnoy has more talent than adler. but adler takes what talent he does have and twists it, manipulates it. and makes it sound amazing. he can make himself sound like mike portnoy, when in all reality he isnt quite as good as portnoy (yet) adler takes something good, makes it great. takes 100 bucks. makes it 1000. (the song redeck is a perfect example) thts y i prefer him, but portnoy is still amazing

joey is more of a speed player,hes a very good drummer but adler plays more rythmicly and methodically,he uses speed only where he has too...and hes got some of cleanest footwork ive ever heard...joey used to be a little sloppy but hes cleaned up alot on Slipknots last CD...id say both are good but their both paying with different styles

i also prefer adler,yes im 13. big shit? the youth is here :) im also a drummer. and i agree with you that adler is a far better drummer than joey! yet i disagree that joey is pure speed,although speed has a lot to do with joeys preformance he can also preform some very technical skill so learn before you juge, peace out man!

No the flanger bell is the top left one. Officially it's a meinl soundcaster 12" distortion splash. I've got the distortion splash and it sounds awesome

so for u success = good playing? if u read my comment again i made no comments on the riffs. in fact i really like them but i understand now that i cant do a negative comment on a famous guitarist because ill end having all the kids wasting their time trying to bother me. also, yeah every1 has their own style which doesnt mean that every style has the right technique. yeah and please dont use success as an excuse to justify good playing because ull just be making a fool of urself. have fun.

if u have actually heard the album version of this song thats exactly how it is played with a lot of motion man. plus u gotta have reasonably quick fingers to play this song so its hard to realy play solid notes.
