this version is different then the sheet music you arranged.. ?

cuz in the beginning you start your left hand with two accords in stead of 3 quick hits in a bar, as it says on the sheets.

i like your vesion better, do you have the sheets of it too?

@Janice1310 The sheetmusic version, (which I wrote out myself) is just what is easiest and closer to the actual music. It probably is a bit different than what happens in the video. Thinking vs. spur of the moment memory of fingers.

Yes. it's called "Forgotten Overture"(OST 23).

And he didn't all by ear, he just told us because he just want not to share these sheets. Thank you ....

Actually fyi, I did do it all by ear and I made sheet music on Finale from what I figured out by ear. It's not called 'Forgotten Overture' it's called the "Impossible Opening" track 16 on the OST. I'd be happy to share the sheet music with anyone who can open a finale file (I don't know of a way of converting it into pdf, my apologies) One would need Finale notepad 2008 or newer.

Haha! Yes, people can play by ear :-P

I honestly can't tell you like HOW I do it...there's no real method. I have a good since of pitch (play any key on the piano or anything and I can tell you what note it is), which I think I gained mostly through learning the piano...(when I was little, I'm told I couldn't sing for anything). So yeah, Idk how I do it man, it just happens :) God given gift ya know.

I've been playing for about 11 years...

And yes, Practice makes perfect :) You should totally go for it! Piano is amazing, and it'll start out slow...but if your determined, and actually pracitce like your poor teacher asks...:-P then you can progress quickly.
