  • I own all these bitches - check my lifts out.

  • Amazing! Nice! Welcome to my page to watch mine raw bench press!!!

  • I don't really know if you can say olympic weightlifting is much more challenging than powerlifting. The lifts might be more difficult than squat, benchpress and deadlift, but there is a lot more straining in powerlifting than there is in weightlifting. Weightlifting is a test of power, and powerlifting is a test of pure strength

  • @jiyanwr well theres a lot of technique involved in weightlifting. it takes most weightlifters years just to develope a decent technique that they can stick with forever. barely any top level weightlifters even have PERFECT technique. you only sometimes see world record holders with perfect technique. i think thats the biggest thing that seperates weightlifting from powerlifting. its not very hard for anyone to just pick up a bar and do a good deadlift or a squat

  • ey was that weight liftin it self at 2:41 ?

  • hyvä suomi! go finland!

  • did they have a midget holding the board during the flat bench chest press?? THAT IS AWESOME!

  • I powerlifted competitively for over 20 years, that's probably why both of my knees are shot. LOL Never hurt them while squatting though. Loved to squat. Ahhh, the good ol' days. I got respect for those Olympic lifters, lifting the weight that fast overhead, not for me.

  • roiders..

  • finally....hercules follower exist nowadays( 1:32 - 2:25)

  • Plz name this greece athlet on 1:32 - 2:25 :)

  • @MrWesAlex the one and only Pirros Dimas

  • that 15 year old benching 120kgs aint shit i know a kid that when he was a freshman was benching 300+ now he benches 450 as a senior

  • More like DOPE-er lifting.

At least I remain natural and massively amazing for my age of 13 only. :P

  • @AndyHarglesis I would hope so. You have plenty of years ahead of you that your body is producing lots of test naturally.

  • @h3sesso Males usually only have 7-10 times more testosterone than females.

Alas, testosterone itself does not promise high strength. Biomechanics, neuromuscular training and your central nervous system along with muscle fiber training and certain diets can determine strength. Testerone alone ... well ... it's just a hormone.

  • whoever made this video is retarded because this is not powerlifting its strength. the only think that was powerlifting was the two guys from Greece.

  • @illscrilla777 .... No. Powerlifting is squat/bench/deadlift. CJ/snatch are oly lifting.

  • Yeah, and all steroids, right?

LMAO...At least I have pride in work and not syringes in arms. :P

  • @AndyHarglesis Do you even have any idea what AAS does? Or are you just some emo piece of crap?

  • @YoungPLER Um....I outperform everyone I know in AAS.

  • @AndyHarglesis LOL. IN AAS. AAS is not a fed, good job though.

  • @YoungPLER You are an ASS.

  • haa winer weigthlifting

  • 2:35 i dig the chuck taylors lol

  • glad someone is getting lifting noticed...

  • Weightlifting = Best sport ever, Strong man, Olympic and Power

  • 2:35 GOOD HOLY MOTHER OF GOD THAT MAN IS BLACK. I've seen some insanely black people before, but that is just pitch black! Awesome!

  • 2:30 is the best 425kg sqaut with converse xD yeah

  • 0:48 looks more like 165kg

  • Pyrros Dimas!!! The best olympic lifting there will ever be!!!

  • lolo 2:51 lift with your back a bit more grampa

  • i still can't understand how that little guy pushed that weight....must have been why they took out the press from Olympic style. Nobody could beat it! Ever!

  • And steriods are...... :(

  • Masturbation is common among teenage girls.

  • konstantinov bends the bar permanently lol freak show

  • YEAAAA BUDDDAAAYYYY!!!!

  • fucin sick song

  • 3:11 thats a midget!!!!!

  • There are some VERY STRONG people on this planet. Jeez.

  • im 13 only DOPE-FREE and i can bench 410lbs raw at 6'4" 202lbs of dope-free strength with perfect form and bare suicide grip,. :)

  • @13andincrediblycut lol right

  • @damnedfire I can,. :P

  • pyrros, loin devant !

  • not all those videos are powerlifting, some of them are WEIGHTLIFTING, there is a big difference between powerlifting and weightlifting and bodybuilding!!!!!!!

  • At 3:00 the guy looks down, terrible mistake!!!

  • @valgez why?

  • @simranjeet12345 Rounds his upper back, might have damaged it big time

  • @valgez cant really see how a world record breaker has a terrible mistake

  • @muzimuzi Why not? Why amateur record breaker can't do mistakes? Even proffesional olympic weightlifters do mistakes and, thus, get dislocated joints and other traumas. And yes, he did round his back

  • @valgez its just silly to say a guy that deadlifts 430 KGs - over 900 pounds is having a mistake because he probably knows what hes doing he did not accidently forgot to look up - thats his deadlift style, i would assume he does that because he starts the deadlift with his trap muscles lowered

  • @muzimuzi You still don't get it, HA? There's no connection between doing high weights, knowing what he's doing and, in fact, doing it right. He exactly knows what he's doing, just like every bodybuilder, power lifter, they all know what they are doing, but still they are doing mistakes, and many of them get serious traumas, "knowing what they are doing". So, it's not silly at all.

  • @valgez ok its not silly but most lifts i've seen from this guy were like that... if hes having a mistake go ahead and fix him...

  • midget guy?

  • Pyros Dimas is one of the men that makes Hellas proud these days :)

    im from Hellas too :D

  • why would you put olympic into a power lifting video!?! Pyros Dimas is more impressive than all of these fat dudes wearing all of these high tech suits, all hes wearing is a singlet and some lifting shoes CHRIST!

  • @NickMaidenACDC Agreed, olympic weightliftes are far more serious

  • pyros dimas 3 times gold and 1 bronze olympic medals

  • That first squat dont look like 302.5 kg I see around 200+ ??

  • @morry27

well I don't think it is common.. but maybe he was using other types of metal... more dense... so it looks like there is not that much weight...

  • why was there olympic weightlifting in this video?

  • The Greek is a 3 time (I think) Olympic Weightlifting Gold medalist. He isn't a powerlifter. He is an Olympic Weightlifter, and his sport is much more challenging.

  • @bnielson2 Prryos Dimas (I don't think I spelled his name right. Yeah he's probably one of the best weightlifters ever. He was unchallenged in his class for years.

  • does any1 know song name ?

  • that dude was squatting in some converse! lol

  • a lot of ppl do kus it gives a lot of support on your heel

  • when its powerlifting season, i do all my lifts in converse.

  • @zeeinatlanta ,

Converse and similarly flat soled shoes are useful for Powerlifting Squats and Deadlifts.

  • @zeeinatlanta ,

Converse and similarly flat soled shoes are useful for Powerlifting Squats and Deadlifts.

  • what does the board in the 2nd clip do?

  • its to work on your sticking point i think

  • @biggsforwin The purpose of a board press is to train specific ranges of the pressing motion in order to increase overall power for a bigger bench press. This is actually pretty simple. The lifter places a stack of boards on his chest. The bar is lowered until it touches the boards, and is pressed back up. The beauty of this movement, is that both the positive and negative bench motions can be utilized in a constrained range of motion. The height of the boards is chosen by the lifter.

  • Last Resort by papa roach

  • guys can somone tell me the name of the song PLEASE

  • Comment removed

  • 2:45 wired technique. he has to watch straight...

  • i dont know why he looks down but he does that everytime and he is a better deadlifter than bolton IMO

  • that olimpic lifter from greece is quadzilla!

  • @czoraa21 pyrros! thats mah boy

  • the first guy squatting isnt doing that much weight to be honest, his form can improve as well imo

  • @BmwM3E46Power that's over 664lbs...the weight is 302.2 kg...1kg = 2.2lbs

  • Damn and here I thought it was about 400 :O I just see three plates.

  • They look like Olympic calibrated weights...they are incredibly dense.

  • Well, he isn't a fat bloke that weighs 300 pounds.. So he is doing well!!

  • He weighed in at 89 kgs, and did 330 kg in a meet, 19 years old, in the IPF. That's some of the most wicked squating ever to be seen. He also did 257,5 kgs raw.

  • I asked this in other video: what's the difference in steroid consumption between untested powerlifters and oly lifters? Oly lifters (I'm talking to you Reza) have to watch their cycles and drugs so they'll test clean during the olympics, while fatass Bolton never worries about it... am I right... enlighten me

  • The difference is obvious. Untested powerlifting federations vs. olympics? Thats like comparing apples and oranges.

  • guy on 1:32

    very impressive. perfect form.

  • But nobody cares what you can do, that's the thing that people tend to forget. Nobody else cares what you think or you can do if your a negative prick.

  • @RED2mac : You really think he can do 302.5kg raw? Mariusz struggles with 310kg, all this internet pricks are just posting numbers they can't back up.

  • Brian Siders is thet you? ^^.

  • that*

  • stfu thx :)

  • you can squat 665.5 lbs?

  • not even a full squat has to be below paralell noob

  • Pause at 0:14 and tell me how it isn't below paralell. Even the IPF would pass this lift easily.

  • 1:32 - 2:25 , the hardest lift in the world

  • @freedomsoldier187 those lifts weren't from powerlifting, they're from weightlifting

  • @freedomsoldier187 I'd say the snatch is harder.

  • @Daniel7772010 technically harder lift, but I don't think its physically harder.

Then again I'm better at the snatch I find it easier, that could be why :)

  • why do you have olympic weightlifters in your video about powerlifting, two different sports, dont contribute to the confusion with this video

  • I respect the strength of these people, but no way I want to look like that.

  • useless..

  • whats the song called?

  • papa roach- last resort

  • Great video, lousy music. Thank goodness for volume control

  • I concur

  • Power rules!

  • that deadlift at 2:50 is awesome

  • Chemerkin is a legend, poor Weller got pwned..

  • are you forgetting sydney? Weller won silver, Chemerkin 4th.

  • Thats because Chemerkin was aimoig for gold, crazy guy attempted 272kg clean and jerk! He got 260kg on his second attempt pretty easily and I reckon he would've gotten 265-270 if he wanted to, but yeah on that occasion he lost out. Lol still Weller set up a huge total, thinking that gold was certain, then chemerkin c&j'ed 260, poor Weller =(. He's an awesome lifter but always gets pwned in some way or another

  • anyone know who the last lifter is?

  • DIMAS IS A FREAK!

  • your depth sucks though

  • Good compilation, but shouldn't you entitled it Power and Olympic lifting?

Still some good lifts in there though!

  • The opportunity to represent your country and possibly win an Olympic medal is worth more than anything you can get from powerlifting.

    Olympics = History

    Powerlifting = Not so much

  • which ones in the olympics? dats right-olympic weightlifting

    whose more powerful? olympic weightlifter

Pound 4 pound-who front&back squats, push presses more? olympic weightlifters. e.g. the chinese weightlifters can overhead squat more den der AMAZING front squat. Beat that

i like powerliftin-but wen u think powerliftin is the best sport-not wiv u on dat 1.

  • dats coz u cant push any weight up coz it'll hit ur dickhead

  • damn dimas could have won a 4rth gold if he didnt have injured his knee :(

  • how tall is Dimas in feet and inches??

  • about 5'7"-8" is think

  • Dimas is 5 feet and 8 inches, 173cm.

  • nice compilation!

  • What's with the clip of the guy benchpressing with the board underneath? What is the purpose of the board? Is it to make it more difficult because he can't rest by going all the way down on his chest?

  • The board is supposed to work on your sticking point (The part of the lift that you think is the hardest). With the board you can use heavier weight than your max and train your sticking point effectively.

  • The board also lets you feel heavier weight because unless you feel heavier weight than your max your max will never go up or go up very little

  • yea ok go deadlift your conventional 1RM sumo style, legs see if your legs could handle it, also sumo is IMO a better form to deadlift

  • Why (is it better)?

  • well you keep your back straight through out the lift, so its easier on your back you use alot more leg power IMO feels better, also i did sumo for a while and switched to conventional and it helped my form out alot

  • power lifting is actually weight lifting

and weight lifting is actually power lifting.

because of the principals of each

weightlifting is actually about power, like

dimas at 83kg jerking 213kg over his head.

powerlifting is actually just about weight, get the biggest fattest guy that can just move the biggest weight possible.

  • afcourse, you just have to be fat to lift huge amounts of kg's

    ignorant fool

  • Nice video too, i disagree with everyone else about Pyros Dima's(much respect!) and other olympic lifters cause they do the clean(full squat) to get that weight up which is RAW POWER without the support of a belt!, no manipulation of fucking technique their you IDIOTS!!!.

  • im doing a bit of powerlifting myself,i deadlift at 200kg - 3 reps max, 100kg powerclean - 1 lift then quick rest for 6 - 8lifts, 140kg bench - 3 to 6 reps, 140kg squat - 3 to 6 reps(full squats).Im only a beginner, started weight training for 1yr and 2mths, then decided to try a powerlifting routine for nearly 3 mths to this point in time. That blonde guy has a nice deadlift but i dont like his bench and that wasnt a full squat(ass to the floor) but still fucking impressive at 355kg.

  • cool dude...

    love the deadlift, 290kg

i jst lift 290lbs one rep & i feel pain for 5 days on my lower back.

  • gotta love the half squat with 2 spotters. very impressive lol

  • I am into bodybuilding, but 1-2 months a year I give my time at powerlifting to increase my strength.Powerlifting is difficult.More difficult than regular strength training or bodybuilding training in heigher levels. Also I respect all of the weightlifters too.I have a friend who is a weightlifter.I cannot of course clean and press better than him but my deadlift, squat and bench press are better than his.I have developed better strength in those movements but he has still better clean and press.

  • what, dimas and chermirnkin aren't power, they're olympic

  • Omg that guy at 2.50... maybe its a wrong angle, but his technique is scary. That back looked hunched when he went into the lift. Holy crap dangerous stuff.

  • alin, that dude is a machine, he knows what he's doing. you can bend at the thorax region

  • Great , great

  • UMMM...Nice video, BUT most of those guys were weightlifters, not powerlifters. wtf

  • god damn Dimas is a freaking beast..

  • got dang lol did you see that 15 year old

  • that depends .. alot of guys start at a very low weight in the begining and thus it takes a hell of a lot longer for them to gain the strength of someone whos already that strong. kinda wishywhasy but i think youll understand

Its not how strong you are in the begining that counts , but how much you've actually gained

  • nattforme i dont see you in any videos until then no one cares how cocky you could be over the internet

  • you talk a lot of fuckin shit my friend

i dont think i have ever seen a 15 yr old bench over a 100

this vid and you are a load of shit

and im not sayin this cause at that age i couldnt do that i just think its a load of fucckin horse piss

  • Who sings this song?

  • papa roach

  • that makes sense

  • why the hell do powerlifters were chuck taylors when performing heavy ass squats, if anyone knows please tell me.

  • Chuck Taylors have flat, non-compressible soles where the typical running shoe or crosstrainer has a squishy, flexible sole. When you've got several hundred pounds across your shoulders, you need your feet to be stable and you need to be able to transmit force effectively from your feet on up. The ideal would be weightlifting-specific shoes but those are kind of pricey, especially for the short amount of time you'd be wearing them. Chuck Taylors are a reasonably priced substitute.

  • dimas is the fucking man!

  • the guy doing the olympic lift at 1:31 is very inspiring

  • All this talk about olym vs powerlifting, is bull.

They are different, olympic eight lifting is about total body dynamics, powerlifting is about static strength and horsepower.

You won't see a powerlifter, clean and jerking 200kg everyday, but an olympic lifter, also couldn't deadlift over 1000lbs.

    It's all different fish

  • pirros dimas is absolutely amazing man, true legend of clean and jerk, respect!

  • Okay let's see..sumo deadlifts are exactly what I'm talking about. Powerlifting is using all your strength and eliminating as much distance from start to finish of a lift as possible. Just like that guy doing sumo deadlifts. No point in doing those other than saying that I moved "325 kg" 10 inches off the floor lol. I respect powerlifters as well but not people who do not maintain good form through lifts.

  • The guy doing 355 squat, 287,5 bench and 290 deadlift is

my cousin jani rainela, worldmaster in under 18 years class.

  • right on man, weightlifting takes no much more skill and presision, not to mention speed

  • IMO, the two are completely different...COMPLETELY.

But I would say that the weightlifter is, on average, much stronger!

  • Powerlifting sucks compared to weightlifting. It's all about manipulation of technique to clear weight in the easiest way. Most of the guys who compete have awful form such as the tall guy doing the heavy deadlift, and that explains why his legs are so small compared to his upper body. And Pyrros Dimas and the other weightlifters do not belong in your vid.

  • well you don't need to have big legs to deadlift heavy or squat big. its about muscle activation and maintaining tension. about manipulation of technique, don't olympic weightlifting have much much more emphasis on technique than powerlifting does? lets not hate shall we? i respect olympic lifters.

  • and could you do it with any form?

  • Well GHOSTrun, I've seen your squats... good job but you're absolutely nothing compared to Tomas. He has squatted 245 RAW with a bodyweight around 86 at age 19. He won the 2006 world championship though ;) and besides your 120 kg squat doesn't break parallel either.

  • Bra gjort =)

    Hälsningar från Finland.

  • powerliftings boring and why the hell would u put olympic lifting if its a powerlifting videos i bet pyrros dimas and andrei would be shocked if they seen there vids in a powerlifting movie

  • wish i could lift 213kg over my head. I can't even go past 165bls

  • Shut up GHOSTrun, you ain't probably never seen a lift irl.

  • O'rly... or you gotta do is click on the blue link and watch my videos ;)
