I understood @Dorsal08 post. He/she correlated the movie's theme with the Latin language and thought the movie was depicting people of Latino descent as "idiots." I don't agree.

I think the movie's dialect is based on slang. No matter what the origin, slang became the basis for the America's dialect. "How's it hangin', ese?" is a good example. A mix of English and Spanish "street talk" were combined to form a coherent sentence. In this movie, slang RULES.
