i really like this song. its full of mistery and calm. just the title "into the wilderness" is cool. what im tinking of when i hear it, is a bounch of indians around a big campfire and telling storys lol:P
i loved how they put the intro AFTER the prologue. i was expecting it at the "press start" screen but got that long story about the Fenril Knights, which was cool. but then when it showed this intro, it surprised me, since i wasn't expecting it, since it didn't play in the beginning
Both intros are good, but I agree with most others in that the original was better. I think I preferred the way the characters looked back then, as opposed to how they look in the remade intro.
But the comparisons end there. Alter Code F as a game blows the original out of the water. If only Agetec hadn't butchered the text displays (text running off the box, mass misspellings, entire pieces of dialogue missing, etc).
The irony is though, unless you PLAYED the first Wild Arms in all its original glory, you have no idea why a man drifting through the desert, a studying girl, and a traveling swordsman with a rat on his shoulder are all staring at a BALLOON.
I love the original too but this one is objectively better because it has Lady Harken in it. Full stop.

does anyone have the song that is played at the very beggining of the game, before you press start to load the save file

It's nice, but nothing beats the original.

I have to 190% agree! Honestly this sequence doesn't make justice to the original one. And to think the original opening is tons of years old! >_<
I'm glad they kept the same music though.

The original is always better. I like the original better personally. It just has charm, regardless of its graphics.
This opening.. is so now, which isn't a good thing. The original opening is so much better, and the characters look far better.

yeah, i also prefer the original intro, i find the characters look better. the newer one uses more modern anime which doesn't look quite as good imo.

I dont like this intro, I love more the wild arms intro in PS1. But the graphics of this game is much even better. ^^
Well thanx for uploading.
