Guys this is not a dance, its a brasilian marcial art called Capoeira that was criated by the african slaves that livre and worked in the 18-19 century farms. Actually quem you practice it you must do it like practicing a dance without much contact or you would get hurt. And the slaves used the singing so nobody would know that were practising a violent fight.

It was actually devised as a way to get around the rule that Brazilian slaves weren't allowed to learn to fight, it was disguised as a dance so they could have some hope of escape.
