  • Actually, this video was taken out of context. The audience is laughing at something else that is happening onstage at the same time that is completely unrelated.

    just want to figure out what 'kind' of people they are to laugh at such a scene.

  • I agree. It would never occur to me that this could be funny.  The laughter must be caused by their discomfort.

  • I still don't understand why people laugh at this? it is endlessly sad and beautiful.

  • @grandmantis Agree, but I like the laughs because it give a dramatic twist, the feeling that people are insensitive, this is a perfect scene or a complete movie in two minutes.

  • The Nelken dance it was my first play that i have seen of the Pina Bausch, i was 17 years, and now I´m 29 years and still soooo living in my mind, after i could see her again in your city Wupertall, Masurca Fogo and again wonderful, Thanks ,thanks and thanks for give to me and the world a possibility see the dance and theather like soo perfect and soo mucht pasion, and this part and that play "the man I love" I never forget!!!!

  • lutz forster give me classes in my dance school and he is awesome as a teacher and dancer, and this work is one of my favorites of him and pina, i love this man!! and pina's work!!
