@caramelhiggens What are you smoking? Dyer wasn't Auburns only tool on offense, like Lattimore was for SCarolina, which meant he didn't get near as many touches. And for that, he was still right behind Lattimore in total yards. Dyer's also out performed Lattimore in all 3 games in which they've faced each other. Lattimore is a great back and deserves the Heisman buzz he is getting, to say that Lattimore is far better than Dyer is the height of ignorance. It's pretty damn close.

@caramelhiggens Most retarded thing I've heard today. Lattimore didn't even average 5 ypc in his freshman season. Dyer averaged 6. Lattimore only had 100 more rushing yards than Dyer last year, but he had over 60 more carries than Dyer did. Dyer is better.
@oshiskter3 Probably this year yeah, cause Trent has the experienced oline. Dyer did good last year while sharing carries with Cam and McCalebb. Trent may win the heisman if Bama win it all this year, but Dyer might have that chance next year.
@caramelhiggens lattimore also has a better offensive line, and last year we didnt have to lean on him cause we had newton. Dyer isnt quite as good but way better than half
That was enlightening lol, now that you mention it though the second play wasn't any form of power O. Looked like the guard pulled play side and dyer ran outside meaning sweep?
where is his run against lsu where he drug the lsu team like 7 yards??? that was my fav play bc i love when running backs just pull everyone like ben tate vs northwestrern
@MrAUFANATIC Yep, it's our bread and butter. Wing-T Bucks Sweep, Hand-Sweep, Veer, etc. Minute changes for different personnel. Main reason malzahn gets the most out of his players
@MrWegl Yeah, the Buck Sweep is actually a Sweep run where he follows both guards. But the play where Dyer is behind the H-Back and the QB its actually Power O. If you noticed or not, after the Buck Sweep is ran successfully they always follow it up with a WR reverse for a setup play. And if you play close attention the Power O play, that same exact play is ran from the Wildcat formation but people don't really notice it, but its the Power O from the WC. Both tackles on the right, TE by the LG
3:38 LOL, 42-14

For a team that is supposedly "ALL IN" How can you lose a running back like that to Arkansas State? Lol
