i really just dont get graphics on cars..at all. Y are stickers cool...if they are, y dont lamborghinis have them...i think they look cheap and tacky, and the fact they are worth 10hp to all ricers proves my point..

lambos dont? Have you seen track driven lambos? Do a search for lamborghini racecars and you will see that plenty of lambos have decals. decals are used mostly by sponsored vehicles to attract attention but there are people that put them on just cause they like how they look. Thanks for your un-educated opinion on whats cool. Remember lambos can get smoked by Nissan GTR "Ricers" so are nissan GTR's not cool either?

i wasn't talking about race cars, and on the street it just makes you look like a try-hard racer. And they are not used mostly, they are used ONLY because they need to for the sponsors, or they dont get the funding to race, you think the carrera race team WANT giant pet food stickers all over their own cars? And the whole GTR is faster than a 911 is bull unless slicks r used, porsche proved it. And the ricers im talking about are the excels with drift wings, cannons and...stickers.

Not to mention that the entire GTR customer range can't afford a lambo. And if you try to race a lambo, u null the warranty so whats the point, u cant drive it like a supercar. Big block muscle can smoke ur GTR, tell me ud prefer it to a lambo.

Less than 300, for both sides like that and maybe some others. Vinyl shops will usually knock some off the price if you let them vinyl their logo on the car.

You use a plotter. Depending on size, they cost anywhere form around 600 to around 2000-3000.

Generally, look into spending about 1200-1500 for the whole setup.

You need a printer/ plotter & laminator.

The printers ink & print heads will cost at leat £1000.

Buy a used printer for £1500, plotter £500, laminator £1000.

It is best to get a bulk ink system so try for a printer that can use them, bulk ink will save you £1000s in costs.

No, I was dead serious. This Vinyl, as you should be able to see, is obviously not printed. So no printer. Vinyls like this can be plotted and cut and come prelaminated, so that is also eliminated. It's cheap and easy.

good one, We don't install graphics just for fun. Our sponsors prefer a graphic scheme to go with their logos to attract more attention. If we didn't have sponsors there would be no graphics and the car would then look like any other 8 on the road unless it was custom painted a non oem color.

Can you apply this same technique around a bumper (top to bottom)? I tried this before and failed. The backing paper was so stiff it made it hard to wrap around the bumper properly.

try using a heat gun to get the vinyl to form to bumpers. I would not recommend trying it for beginners though but you gotta start somewhere. otherwise you will never get good at it.

Thanks for the comment, Its not hard but it does take time and patience and a steady hand when cutting between the door seams and the gas cap. It also helps if you have another person. This took about 1.5-2hrs

Vinyl is strictly for the sponsors. If we had no sponsors we would have no decals.

Wing- Who said they make your car faster in the first place. To us the car would look uneven with a bodykit and no wing.
