I like Soccor, and i've played it many more times than Ice Hocky... But being out there, on the ice, in intensive play with gliding movement and quick action, its so freaking fun to play, you'll just never able to grab 9 mates and go "meet ya down at the rink, i'm bringing my puck!"

If 'soccer' sucked so much why would it be the rest of the world's favourite sport? it isn't all baou the goals, its about the link up play and the tackles and everything.

Let me clarify, I quite like ice hockey, it's the only Yank sport I enjoy. But it can get repetetive in a way that FOOTBALL never will.

Most of the rest of the world can't afford hundreds of dollars worth of equipment (never mind maintaining an ice rink in a warm climate).. When all you need is a soccer ball and a field it becomes a sport anyone in the world can enjoy. Simple as that.

The commentator may be annoying but he's historic as far as the Coyotes/Jets franchise is concerned. That's Curt Kielback. He's been doing commentary for the Jets since they joined the NHL in 1979, except for a couple years in the mid 90s. Good game though.

A decent game with two of the worst teams in the NHL. Man, the commentator is incredibly annoying. Why the fuck doesn't the guy finish his sentence before announcing the goal. The constant interruption makes him look slow and incompetant. I swear, he once said "He Scones!" at least once during the game.
