  • At last, I've got to hear it on a 78 and the start of the century before I hear someone play the lost first verse. Not even the fames from the 40-50's play it anymore.   • Another of Slim Whitman's fantastic recordings.I never heard a lousy song from Slim.Went to see him in Blackpool in 1958? I think.I was hooked from then.I have still got the programme I bought that night.
