@darksideoffroad The don't have it in stock form; That one is turned up.  Not difficult to do, but hard on those old LDT/LDS engines and the injection pumps themselves. They'll run forever left stock, but those heavy internals aren't built to spin fast.

Rear leaf springs are good for carrying weight and I figured that out with my 74' Ford one ton with a modified rear suspension. I've never EVER over loaded that motherfucker 1 time and I've had hell 13,000+ pounds on it. NO BRITISH CAR not even your "Lorries" (Semi trucks) can handle that much weight on the back

Hope you have EGT and boost gauges if you turned the fuel up that much man!! The turbos having a hard time cleaning up the smoke...you know that too much pre-boost fuel down low can bogg the turbo down and make take long to build boost.

But I can't complain; with 2 batteries, a wire repair and a quart of brake fluid, the old soldier came out of mothballs on the base and drove over 1,500 miles from Georgia to Colorado. I was beat to death, but the truck was fine. lol.

we use these for harvesting onions out of the dry peat bogs here! there are 2 small allen screws you can adjust. I usally open the one up a bit. set the pump timing to the LDS mark on the crank and run the late style 5 ton turbo! the earlier one doesnt spool as fast. makes a huge difference.
