@LicoriceLain its like he's stuck in fast forward.he bounces w/his body and words all over the place.maybe he drinks WAY too much coffee or what ever meds hes on. he should smoke a blunt and relax or he's neurotic or something. love his films though.
@ballrub I like that about him. XD Not enough people are bouncy. ;) See bouncy people are trustworthy. You know they actually care about what they are talking about.
haha dick miller got a lot of cool minor roles in movie history. A gun dealer in terminator 1, a drunkyard grandfather in demon knight and it wouldnt surprise if d.miller have been killed in this movie too by accident
i see why tarantino say he almost wanted to keep this scene, the whole built up of the romance between wolf and julia helps for the final joke about going to a volleyball game.
i think it was good to be left out but i also think that is good to see the whole deleted scene.
Julia Sweeney is a far better writer than she is an actor. Her one woman show is really great, too, but this character is a little stiff and bimbo-ish, and this scene kind of emasculates the Wolf.
I like that they left it for the reason of relationship between Rachel and Wolf. Here it seems as something deeper and more real, where in movie, he drives car fast, gets stuff done, takes care of problems and leaves with bitch, all like a boss. Here, it kind-of kills "the boss-ness" of Wolf.
good idea to delete this scene, although I like Dick Miller, too. But this scene has really a different flavor, the dialogs sound kind of trite and plastic. It would have destroyed much of the vibe of the next scene.
Do you imagine that the words "outta my way, Rex" were written by Tarantino or were ad libbed by Keitel? My guess is ad-libbed, and they unfortunately distract because there isn't sufficient room for them and they sound misplaced to begin with.
I think it'd work as some more insight to Wolf, but it wouldn't really matter if Monster Joe was in it. I just think a shortened exchange between the two friends would be acceptable.
QT should've kept in the bit where Jules apologizes and Vincent admits he was wrong. It showed that they were friends and not just business partners, and it was only a 5 second scene

I'm glad Quentin removed this scene (or at least shortened the hell out of it). Everything up to this point in the film has being grade A! This scene would have brought the movie down.
I can see where Quentin was going with this scene though and if it had stayed in, I think we'd have all come to accept it.
Dick Miller is an awesome character actor, always liked him as Murray Futterman in the 1984 classic movie "Gremlins" and the 1990 sequel "Gremlins 2: The New Batch". He is awesome as Monster Joe here in this deleted scene.
Woulda liked to see Wolf & Joe. I used to get thhose actors confused because they look so similar. Glad the chic was cut out tho. And damn tarantino. All that babbling. Play The Fuckin Scene!!!
The original role model of the Wolf is the Cleaner in Nikita (Jean Reno), who disposes of dead or dying bodies after a hit. But he is an ice-cold psycho whereas the Wolf is a regular guy, almost too regular.
This scene should have been kept in the movie. When you watch the movie your thinking "who the fuck is monster joe and why would he just let them dispose of a hot car with a dead drug dealer inside?" This scene adds to the story and shows the Wolf's pleasant side. The scenes between butch and his girlfriend should have been shorter, they become tiresome. Thoughts anyone?
Yeh that scene with the shot was brilliant, especially when he opens the door and starts going apeshit. But the scene I think he was talking about was an extended version of when vincent vega is buying the heroin in Lance's bedroom.
This guy is a genius and move his hand like a genius and never know when to stop talking cause he just got so many things flowing in his brain, but faggots don't get it.
He's a damn legend...no way is he gay...it is actually proven that people who speak with their hands are able to retain 20% more information in a conversation than those who don't.
I liked the scene, but it makes the Wolf out to be a totally regular guy (there are even hints of it in what was left in the film). Yet he disposes of dead bodies...
Yeah, I'm glad QT cut this scene. It actually takes away from the calculating coolness that Keitel gives to Winston Wolf. Not to mention it is a pace-killer.

"tanantinos movies dont need to have the best film quality (sic)"
Indeed, they don't. How can you insist that a movie without "the best film quality" can be a good movie? The presence of Class A actors is disputable and meaningless; witness the impressive role calls of Heaven's Gate, The Story of Mankind, Mad Dog Time, North, Gigli, etc.
Hahah, damn what crawled up your ass? It's funny seeing the back and forth of you and the other posters. Onward to victory, you magnificent internet warrior.
i didn't know she was that smart in this del-scene. i thought she was some dumb girl "sat hello raquel" "hello raquel" dipfuck the original cut, this should be in. deleted scenes strengthen the character of the Q's characters.
Tarantino did make my favorite movie, so what if he was on X when he made the documentary. There were inherent flaws in the movie but you only see them if you watch the damn thing at least 100 times. It was a cult favorite but he didn't do his research on timelines or logistics but who had the time for that- with all the scene skipping he made use of issue confusion so in that way it was genious.
Tarrantino talks to much, Lubic? Come on...I understand why he cut the scene out. Usually, scenes that are cut are done so for a reason. This one was def. one of those "all talk and no content" kind of scenes... which there are enough of in this movie! (I like the movie though, just saying...)

i didn't know she was that smart in this del-scene. i thought she was some dumb girl "sat hello raquel" "hello raquel" dipfuck the original cut, this should be in. deleted scenes strengthen the character of the Q's characters.

Needing action, eh? Words are kind of hard to make sense of, eh? Trouble with absorbing "atmosphere", eh? There's always Disney stuff.
