Um...i don't think this is a Vampire movie, they were creatures that behave similar to vampires but aren't really. Vampires don't have their heads blown to pieces when shot by a normal gun, Vampires are scare of "Crosses" there weren't any in the movie, not that i can recall.

But i do think that its a great movie though the ending was a bit lame, Josh ended up being the "Hero" type like Batman/superman etc ;P

I wonder if theres gonna be a sequel, hmm....

-.- the entire video was explaining this person's portrayal of the "vampire" so yes, they were vampires. They were not those all powerful "only one thing can kill them" vampires or the "only holy things can kill them" vampires such as the ones in other movies and stuff but they are vampires. I think that the creator of the graphic novel would agree with me as well. Plus, they are immortal.

The acting was excellent and the theme was awsome, like when family and friends are getting killed these characters show real emotion unlike alot of modern 2nd rate movies. This movie is great if you enjoy watching action sequences through the eyes of an epileptic in the middle of a seizure. Seriously every time someone even starts to walk over 5 miles an hour, the camera starts spazzing all over the place, to the point where you have no idea who the hell is in shot, and what the characters are doing to each other. The worst cinematography/editing of the year. And it's sad because the opening shots of the film are quite good.
